That's an easy one, because in reality, he really did win and WCW died. But if the won in the actual match, there would be a proper rematch, but they would probably bait and switch it and have BRET HART walk out the new WCW Champion at Souled Out.

HHH is back on top for an 11th run. So, anyone want HIM to hold the belt till Wrestlemania 25? Let him shatter Cena's record.

Pot calling Kettle black? Circa 2002?

It's down to SID or D'lo Brown. Hell, D'lo Brown as WWE Champion. I can dig that.
-
I guess it's all but confirmed he's coming back then eh?
-
I haven't been around the pay per view threads for a while since I was watching the other ones at a bar, but is this the busiest thread since Wrestlemania?
-
Gee, I wish SID would walk out tonight as the new Champion. Psycho m'fn SID.

What if Luger turned heel and sold out to the Million Dollar man? Do we have a hot heel who can challenge Diesel, Bret, Shawn, etc..... or do we have a stale heel with no heat?

Most Important/Influential Matches of All Time
Boxer replied to Diamonddust's topic in General Wrestling
Bret Hart vs. Sid WWF Raw is War March 17 1997 Bret goes on a tirade which leads to the USA giving them a 5 second delay, the attitude era unofficially starts and the Screwjob is slowly falling into place. -
"Rumours" from Wrestlezone.com

Never rule out Hogan, seems he's always in the running for the title, at least to me. Throw in Shawn Michaels, King Booker, and Kane. As for save_us.222, I think the WWE will have him be revealed at the beginning of this pay per view, much like how the nWo came out right away at No Way Out in 2002. Then maybe the buzz will get some people to order the pay per view as it is going on.
-
I'm going to have to agree with you here, even though I want Jericho to come back on this PPV. I think the main single reason the WWE will hold off on this, well, 2 reasons are: #1. There will be a new WWE champion. That alone will give the pay per view enough buzz here. #2. Since the buzz for the save us.222 is going so well, the WWE wants to drag out the speculation to draw some pay per view buys for Cyber Sunday since the save us 222 kinda ties into the Cyber Sunday theme.

Sean MAy out for the year with micro fracture knee surgury. So another one bites the dust.

Did he really touch the plate?

Amazing! That's all I can say.

In pro wrestling as a whole, what do you need to do to be a called a legend? Are there too many wrestlers out there that are using that monkier but don't deserve it? Who are borderline "legends" that really shouldn't attach that name to them. I'll start with one example. Is Sid a "legend"? Also, can you personally define the term legend? Multiple championships? Drew crowds? Ratings champion?

? I guess they might as well dub him: From GREENWICH Conneticut, JOHN CENA! So it's nice to see Cena as the 6th longest championship reign ever and longest in 19 years. Hustle. Loyalty. RESPECT!

I don't know it if has ever happened, but I would've love to see a Stone Cold vs. DDP match for the WWF or WCW title, whichever one works. I think Austin and DDP would have a decent match that could draw some pay per view buys.

Even though most think it's Jericho with that promo last night, anyone actually think it could be SID?
-
Thinking about that, Jericho certainly has seen his character change over the years. From "saviour" Jericho to Smartass face, to angry face, to undisputed champion, to angry heel to heel turned face in love with Trish to........ I can't really remember his last run's character well. If the "save us" Jericho returns I will mark out.

Michelle McCool says hi?

That was one of the DVDs listed in that poll on WWE.com that nobody could find. Suppose the list was real and the DVD was listed as a match compilation. I hope this will be better than the Raw X DVD. I have it and it was a pretty terrible disc. Wow, I'm surprised it has already been 5 years since the Raw X DVD.

All hail King Booker part 2. Send him back to Smackdown and let him rule his real kingdom again. The Hunter deal should be a one time deal, so now lets get Booker back to fighting guys like Kane or Batista on Smackdown.
-
Must say, after watching some old Smackdown matches and various stuff from Brock Lesnar, I just wonder how different the WWE would be right now if he never left or came back by now. Maybe we would've gotten the classic series between Benoit and Lesnar that really happened only once if I'm correct.

It's funny the OP said that wal-mart broke the street date, because I took a look at it from my library on Friday. The list really has some headscratchers here on where they are ranked. I don't really like the comparison of Cena with Austin and Hart, but I guess different strokes for different folks.
