I don't know how many of you guys have read "Sex, Lies and Headlocks" by Shawn Assuel but man, it seems after re-reading the book again, at the half way point so far, nothing has really changed. It was amazing to see how close McMahon was going to jail then and steroids are still the big scandal they were then, today.

So is this the worse shape ANY WWE roster has ever been in? We have out due to injury at the moment: Lashley Undertaker Edge Just returned: HHH Rey And then we have the 10-12 suspended guys. Safe to say, WWE needs some talent to come on board. Sid, D-Lo, Jericho, Samoa Joe, come on down!

Too bad Goldust didn't take up WWE's offer a while ago. Clearly by far, he would be the #1 heel right now in the company. Feuding with HHH and Cena, his stock wouldn't be any higher. Maybe guys like Matt Hardy and Ric Flair can get a push on Smackdown while Carlito, Shelton, and Super Crazy on Raw. Kinda surprised Kane is nowhere to be found here, for a few years, he was huge. Especially around late 2001 early 2002.

I remember during a Raw is War around June-July 1997, it was a Hart Foundation and Austin confrontation. I think it was a build to Canadian Stampede. I remember at the end of the show, Austin stands alone, then Michaels comes out, then Sid came out, than Shamrock came out, and one more dude, I think Goldust? Was this suppose to be the original team to face the Hart Foundation? Also, when did the Patroit debut in the WWF, was it BEFORE or AFTER Canadian Stampede? I always thought a Owen-Patriot feud for the IC title would work.

I hope this 3 disc set WON'T be like From the Vault. Good concept, but it was missing way too many other matches. And PLEASE, WWE, do NOT put the Iron Man Match on this set. It has been done to death. I was some classic IC Title matches and the superman run Michaels had in 96.

I guess people will now be tuning into this weeks episode to see where they are going with certain wrestlers. It makes sense why Palumbo was made to look strong over Masters.
-
Who is the former WWE wrestler that is going to be hired this week? SID?
-
So with the roster depleted now, who do you think will be called up even sooner from OVW? Hart Foundation? Jeter? Anyone else?
-
If Mike Knox is someone found out to be on that list too, that means amazingly that during the Surivivor Series last year, one team was made up of all the clients from this place. Edge/Orton/Nitro/Helms/Knox. I can see now why the WWE jobbed them all out to the Hardyz/Punk/DX.

Don't forget Chris Masters Funaki Batista All from ESPN's list.
-
It's the return of WWE Velocity? Or maybe the end of the brand extension? Maybe they should be pushing the inter promotional thing for a bit, because clearly Raw is depleted. I guess when everyone said Raw destroyed Smackdown during the draft, maybe this is instant karma. Looks like Cena is gonna carry the title for a little longer or it is gonna be a long feud between HHH-Cena.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
Boxer replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't know what was going on in the mind of Benoit, but when it is all said and done, this man, and him alone may have one of the biggest affects on wrestling history. Since the acts were commited the WWE has gone into a PR nightmare. Was this Benoit's plan? Who knows, but damn, maybe instead of wrestling, this will be the legacy he leaves behind. So when the wellness policy saves lives and the industry is cleaned up will Benoit be hailed as a saint or still as a devil for what he did? The trickle down affects from this are simply astounishing. -
What was the deal with Nature Boy Buddy Landell. I just saw a clip of this a while ago and he used Flair's old WWF theme as well. Was this a parody on Flair or something? also, why did he disappear so quickly from WWF TV? Was it a ceast and detest order from WCW? Also, does anyone remember an ad on WWF TV hyping up "The Ultimate Survivor Series" and it stated clearly featuring Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, Bret Hart, Diesel, Razor Ramon, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man, Mr. Perfect, Ric Flair, etc...... This was in 1997, and I'm wondering, why are they hyping up some WCW wrestlers here. Were they trying to get ratings? I never saw the show personally so I put the question out there. Or did the WWF make the WCW superstars look weak, as in making Diesel, Razor, Flair, etc... getting beat by current WWF guys?

So here is a question for all of you. It is clear by a huge margin that this will go down as the #1 wrestling story of the year, but my question is, what is number 2? With so much happening this year thus far, what is your pick for the 2nd biggest story of the year? -
So either Raw or Smackdown will be depleted even more. Would anyone be surprised if the main events for Unforgiven were: John Cena vs. Davari and Great Khali vs. Jimmy Wang? On a serious note here, damn, I guess this could mean more extended runs with the titles for Khali and Cena if indeed their challengers are on that list.

I read something about this heat with Mero and Foley in Foley's book, but it was never explained. Why the heat?
-
and I fully expect Charlie V to be traded. I think he won't get the playing time needed since Yi will demand a lot of playing time, so Charlie will go onto a 3rd team in due time.
-
Just saw some old fotage of Marc Mero vs. Undertaker from Superstars in early 97. This was when Mero was still "Wildman" and I noticed heel tactics from Sable and Mero. What's up with that? Were they testing a heel run for Mero or Sable?
-
That headling couldn't be any worse. For a second I thought it was SID!

So if Benoit was still around we would have: him as ECW champion be involved in basically a best of 5 series with Punk with what Morrison is doing now there would be no John Morrison each pay per view would deliver at least a **** match from Benoit-Punk Correct? -
Did Eddie Guererro officially/unoffically turn face right before he died? Or was it meant to be a fake face turn only to turn back heel on Batista?
-
Two questions: 1. When The Rock cut the promo after Austin walked out and told him to "GET THE F OUT" was that a shoot or work from Rocky? 2. Around the same time HBK cut a promo about Austin stealing the spotlight from him and Rock stealing the spotlight from Hunter, was that a shoot as well?
-
So in the USA Today, it looks like Allan Houston is all but confirmed for a comeback, but now the question is just where. Also, according to Si.com Riley expects Payton NOT to be back next year in Miami. Can anyone say farewell tour with Seattle one last time? Both Payton and the Sonics have one last hurrah around the league. I think Payton, Green, Wally, Durant, Swift could work as a starting 5.
-
I always thought it would be a SLOW build with Hunter being in the main event sometime in 1999, but I think Wrestlemania would've been too early. What if the 1997 ECW Invasion worked? We get talent swapping and basically WWF/ECW vs. WCW.

Looking at the roster and what was posted there. It seems to be an active superstar since it was detected a month ago and the superstar is a bigger superstar. My guesses would be: Raw: Booker, Orton, or Lashley Smackdown: Batista or Kane
