Just wondering here, since the WWF became the WWE, has a ring announcer ever called the WWE champion, the World Wrestling Entertainment champion when the wrestler came out? I know when it was the WWF title, 9 times out of 10, Finkel would say World Wrestling Federation Champion, as the champ was coming down the ramp. I ask this, because saying the "World Wrestling Entertainment" champion is just so tacky, I wonder if there is video out there of this somewhere.

I'm surprised there isn't more reaction due to the fact that MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE is actually a choice. So much for being blacklisted from the WWE?

So no "official" words from Rey Mysterio? Anyone?

You know, when I saw the headline, Wrestler passes away on a few "news" sites, I thought for a second it was actually Cor Von. Was I the only one thinking this? Also it had ECW Wrestler in some headlines WITHOUT the former in the title, so it was actually closer than I thought.

Did anyone catch this from pwinsider? Put me down for the Raw set, IF it's the matches that I have in mind, The Rock, The Perfect, MACHO MAN, Starrcade, Owen Hart, and Sting sets.

Ummm....... hmm. I don't know what to really say about this one. Does anybody know if he was one of the guys taking something. And man, NANCY GRACE is gonna have a field day with this one.

Holy crap, is that true that MATT HARDY has the best record on Smackdown? If so, that man needs a US or World Title now. Certainly beats Khali as world champion.

I actually believed the opposite when it came to the HBK-HHH summerslam match. It was SUPPOSE to be HBK's swansong in the WWE, one last match, so that's why they let him go over HHH. I'm sure if the WWE knew Michaels would still be around, then HHH would've clearly won the match that night.

So what's up with Cor Von? Has WWE made contact with him? Did he quit because his theme song was HORRIBLE?

Is everyone forgetting that Morrison was only put into that spot because the WWE had no choice. Wasn't the plan to build him up SLOWLY and then eventually he would be a credible contender/champion. I'm sure the WWE has NO IDEA what to do with him right now, since he was only suppose to be a 2 day champion. If only _________ ____________ showed up to the pay pew view. We could've had __________ vs. Punk in a ***** class for the ECW title. [This post was edited by the WWE.com team]

Here we go again? ECW has just gotten more depleted now, if Cor Von, ummmmmmmm Monty Brown is gone from the WWE. Oh man, if Big Daddy V/Viscera/Mabel won the ECW World title, imagine if Taboo Tuesday was right around the corner? We would have John Cena vs. Great Khali vs. Big Daddy V in a champion vs. champion vs. champion match. Who would've called that one?

They should bring up the other 4 Spirit Squad members to fatten up the roster. I think Flash Funk would've looked good in ECW, but oh well. Guys like Burchill, Idol Stevens and Cabana are ready. Maybe even The James Duo. Last I heard there was some talk of a British stable on Smackdown with Taylor, Burchill and the British chick in OVW who's name I don't remember. Katie Lea? That'd be her. I'd support that group. Wouldn't Harry Smith be an obvious choice for the group here, or is he in the doghouse or something? Or are they just gonna try to do Hart Foundation Volume 2.0 instead?

Is there any truth to the rumour that Triple H wanted to face Hogan after HBK wasn't in "shape" to wrestle him at Wrestlemania X-7? After both Hogan and HBK failed, then we had the two week insta-feud with Taker?

Since Shane and Steph would be too young back then to run the WWF, wouldn't it be Gorilla Moonson who would run the company? I'm pretty sure I read this somewhere before.

What do you mean? He hasn't been on tv in like 3 weeks. Well, now that he's no showed, it can lead to two things: 1. He's quiting the company due to no push 2. He failed a wellness policy test, or knew he did and is currently in hiding. We better not be getting any text messages from him anytime soon.

Since the topic of this title being "cursed" is brought up, let's look at the previous holders. Triple H - Handed belt. It's his and even WITH an INJURY still held the belt in 2003. Shawn Michaels - No idea what he was doing with the belt in the first place. Goldberg - Out of WWE, never happy with the direction of his character. Also, title run flopped. Chris Benoit - We know enough about him already. Randy Orton - I still don't know why he, like Michaels, got a one month run, unless it was just to job to HHH. Batista - Did have a fairly strong intial run with the title. Injury derailed him though. Kurt Angle - Just put into that position to hold the belt for Rey. Decent match with Taker though. Rey Mysterio - Dogged by some fans and writers from day one. Title run derailed by injuries. King Booker - Pretty sucessful run judging by the fact no one expect him to win the title again, made his "King" character over, and was healthy during the run. Undertaker - Injury derailed title run. Edge - Injury derailed title run. Other notables: Eddie Guerrero, schedule to win the title, passes away. Kennedy, gets injured before getting his chance at the title. Maybe looking a little deeper at this, this title may have some form on "jinx" on it. So it looks like the most sucessful world heavyweight champions thus far have been Triple H, Batista, and Booker T. BTW, one other name I'd add to the list of who might get the strap tonight, FINLAY! Also, didn't keller mention a top WWE star sent home. So that could rule out Rey.

Would you rather have him or Big Daddy V as the world champion? I really don't know to tell you the truth. This would only devalue the title with a JTTS to hold the belt.
