Edge injured; out of action for undetermined length of time
Boxer replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
As Paul Heyman once said: Triple H doesn't work Tuesday's. -
Damn, he looks so much better than that convention picture with that G-Unit sweat shirt.

From pwinsider, via rajah.com: Would the other two ouside of Batista get us talking? Matt Hardy, I say yes, Henry, maybe. -
OUCH. I never heard that one before.

Also, lost in all this guessing game of WHO the superstar is, how long is Edge gonna be out? Will he be out as long as Undertaker? -

I'm expecting the usual complaints but also a sense of a "surprise for the sake of a surprise" reaction. If this was Russo, I'd expect Eugene to win. This is WWE, so I'll give them a little more credit and say Chavo wins. If Chavo wins I guess he will suffer from Rey Mysterio syndrome? BTW, I guess that would make him the FIRST EVER, Cruiserweight and World heavyweight champion, simultaneously. Probably is, don't they contradict themselves? -
What would it take to make you interested in the WWE again

I think it's safe to say that 1995 was the year of locker room politics in the WWE. That epic match of Shawn Michaels vs. Dean Douglas for the IC title was truly a classic, that never happened. -
Politics? In TNA? I've never really heard much of politics when it comes to TNA. Can you clarify? Who tried to hold him down? Jarrett?
-
I should've been more clear. I meant the WWE Championship, not world titles period.

Is it safe to say Val Venis? I mean, he IS getting TV time lately. Maybe he can jump ship tonight to Smackdown? -
Sid vs. John Cena should be saved, but which pay per view is better? Summerslam is obviously too soon. So we got Survivor Series. This is a pay per view where the title hasn't changed hands since November 2002. November title changes don't really happen that often these days anymore. Royal Rumble? The transitional big one pay per view between Survivor Series and Mania. Would it work here, or would it be overshadowed by the Rumble match itself? And then there's WRESTLEMANIA 24. The grand daddy of them all. Then again, Sid supposedly bomb as champion during the press conferences for Mania 13, I don't know if they would put him back in the main event picture.

I was gonna say that too, but they already have an advertised match and program with Nitro for the ECW title. If Punk leaves ECW, I really don't know what to say anymore. -

Some more RANDOM names. RVD: Does a title run on Smackdown interest him? BROCK LESNAR: There have been rumours of him coming back forever in the last 3 or so years. Back home to Smackdown as World Champion again? Randy Savage: Yeah, I know when hell freezes over. Vader: They want another monster push? Lashley? If they REALLY wanted Champion vs. Champion at the pay per view. -

That's too bad, I remember HHH and HBK were pushing for Flair with one last run with the big gold belt. -

THE ROCK? Comes back and spikes one pay per view buyrate, and then he's gone again? Back for a one week work schedule, I think Rocky can handle that. Some more quick ideas. How about SID!!!!!! Possibly Triple H? I'd LOL huge if it was Hogan. With the exception of Triple H, I'd think those guys would get people talking. -
Bret Hart: Wasn't the plan for him to face Austin at Mania 14, drop the title, then the Hart Foundation turns on him, making him a sympathetic babyface for one last run. I believe he was suppose to retire by 2000. As for Shawn, I truly believe HE would've left the WWF with Hunter, because the non-sense those two would've pulled would have gone to greater lengths if Bret was still there. HBK and HHH would've joined the nWo would Hall, Nash, and X-Pac. Razor and Diesel. I think by that time, if Razor had stayed, he would've turned heel and go after Shawn and the title or align himself with Vader. He would probably join up with him in a "respect" angle after defeating him at Good Friends/Better Enemies. As for Diesel, with that tweener character leaning towards heel, it would've caught on in my opinion and we would see a monster Diesel reclaim the title sometime late 96' or early 97 as they build the next babyface to defeat him for the strap. I wonder if a Diesel-Austin program would've work since they both would do some good mic work. Ahmed Johnson: Wasn't he due to win the title either at In Your House it's time over Vader, also, wasn't he suppose to face Undertaker at King of the Ring 97' for the title? I don't know if he was suppose to win the title there or not. My what if: What if the Radicalz never defected WCW for the WWF? What if Benoit actually went on that WCW world title run? Would WCW still be around?

Mark Henry could be "buried" due to his comments in the paper. With that in mind, I'm picking, Ric "mutha f'n" Flair. Damnit, I want a surprise once in a while. Edit: Now, if MATT really F'N' Hardy won the world title. Gosh, I don't know what to say. Now THERE is a guy the fans are totally behind for him to win the big one. -
A new "clique" featuring Cena, Joe and Punk? I can dig that.

Here's something I'm wondering. If the wellness policy WASN'T in place when this happened, would WWE be absolutely crucified by the media? I mean, this could be so much worse if the plan wasn't in place. Question 2, if Eddie never died, would this plan be in place? Was there ever a plan being developed way before Eddie died? Or was this plan simply something that came out of the Eddie death? -
I think the biggest question about Joe and WWE is............. what will they rename him? If Monty Brown went to Marquis Cor Von what will Joe go to? Jo-maga? A play on Umaga and his name? Samaga? The Samoa? Joe-Berg? Or they could always run with the Cor Von last name and give it to every TNA guy that joins the company. It could be a running gag in the WWE to give them that last name. Joseph Cor Von. So wrong, yet some WWE writer may like it.
-
From rajah.com via f4wonline: Nice to see WWE have the mindset of hiring a guy to BURY them.
-
Where would they go? New Japan? WWE? Mexico? I really think TNA is it for their careers at this point.
-
If they bring back Celebrity Boxing, I'm sure that all but fits Big Show right now.

I haven't really followed this Christy Hemme - VKM stuff but is it still going on? And when did she turn "heel"? I use that term loosely btw.
