    Sting

Whoa, Fake Sting part 2? If this is the WWE we're talking about here, they'll probably have Sting the wrestler meet Sting the musician. Just like how Goldberg met Goldust, only because they had GOLD in their names. Apparently a lot of people thought that putting the wig on the guy, that Goldberg was damaged from that point on. As for Sting, I guess if Flair were to have one last match and this time he means it, why not Sting vs. Ric Flair at Wrestlemania 24? If they can close out WCW, they should each close out their careers. Shortly after that Sting will job to Val Venis on Heat.

    Top WWE guy sent home

According to WWE, WHO? They had no recollection of this individual.
  3. Can someone explain to me how the WCW/ECW wrestlers were allowed back into the WWF after they beat them at the Survivor Series? All I can remember is that the Alliance wrestlers who held gold were exempt, along with Test winning the battle royal and Booker T interfering in the Undisputed Title match all got their jobs back or retained them. Also, I believe Tazz defected when he choked out Heyman on Smackdown. So in storyline, how did guys like Helms, Storm, Palumbo, DDP, Kanyon, Tommy Dreamer, Mike Awesome, etc..... get reinstated in the WWF?

    Sting

So I guess I ain't the only one wondering what WWE Sting would be like? He'd make a good Intercontinental or United States Champion.

    Top WWE guy sent home

Is this top star sent home schedule to be on the pay per view? I'm pretty sure some top stars that are currently injured would be backstage too, so the person who was sent home could really be broad here. My bet, Lashley.
  6. He should have, but his team of himself and Tatanka lost to 1-2-3 Kid and Bob "Spark Plugg" Holy at Royal Rumble 95. Leading to the some would say career ruining feud with LT for him. I don't think it was meant to be "Career ruining", because wasn't he promised a push from McMahon for doing the job? He did main event King of the Ring 95, but then again it was KING OF THE RING 95. It may not have MEANT to have been, but that's what it ENDED UP being. Despite his good ECW run. EDIT: Also, that main event was a tag team match, teaming with Diesel against Tatanka and Sid He didn't do too much after that, except parade around in the flame shooting suit. He jobbed to Goldust at Survivor Series and that was it for Bam Bam in the WWE right?
  7. I have no idea if this list is really big or really small so I put this one out there. How many wrestlers have been in all 3 companies and won a belt? Off the top of my head quickly I can think of: Raven (ECW Title, WCW US, WWE Hardcore) Chris Candido (ECW Tag Team, WCW Crusierwright, WWE Tag Team) Lance Storm (ECW Tag Team, WCW Tag Team, WWE Tag Team) Mike Awesome (ECW Title, WCW Tag Title, WWE Hardcore) Chris Benoit (ECW Tag, WCW TV, WWE Tag Team) Chris Jericho (ECW TV, WCW TV, WWE European) Dean Malenko (ECW Tag Team, WCW Tag Team, WWE Crusierweight) Shane Douglas (ECW World, WCW US, WWE Intercontinental) Is that it?

  9. I'd agree with that, but, is that tag team victory official or not? From Wrestlemania? I always thought the titles were up-held and then the Outlaws won it back the next night? Is that official that they won the straps?
  10. Looks like Rey can call it a career. At least he won the World HEAVYWEIGHT title. Even though most hated it due to his size, the Eddie deal, etc...... with his heart apparently in bad shape, Rey, HANG EM UP.
  11. The belts won in all three companies. BTW, I personally left those three guys out for the main reason that the WWE owned ECW and WCW don't count. This is specifically when WCW, ECW, and WWE were all three companies owned by different people.
  12. I just thought of sommething, I hope it hasn't already been mentioned. The Bret Hart vs. Chris Benoit, Owen Hart tribute match. Because it was under different circumstances, not a storyline built to it, will this match be FOREVER lost in the WWE library. I understand deleting other stuff on Benoit, but because it was a tribute match to Owen, will this match at least still get mentioned from time to time? Or like WCW, and everything that ever happened, WWE will probably now forget about this match forever.
  13. I don't know if this is terrible irony or the fact that someone at wwe.com isn't doing their job, but on the great american bash page from wwe.com, there's the following match advertised to watch on wwe 24/7:
  14. Any idea how Benoit felt about Beef Wellington's death? Maybe he commited the acts too soon after Beef died to get a comment from him? Did anyone know how he felt about another death close to him?

    The Invasion Angle

Didn't want to start a new thread so i'll just revive this one. If WCW vs. ECW were allowed to happen under WWE's control what matches would you like to see? I don't know why, but a RVD vs. DDP match would've been appealing to me. Just to hear DDP call RVD, Rob Van SCUM!

WWE General Discussion for July 2007

January eh? In that case I hope the WWE hires Janetty and Goldust around November for them to be ready to be released again in January. We all need a good laugh and I'm sure WWE has that newslink saved since they've used it quite a few times on the release of Jannetty and Goldust.

WWE General Discussion for July 2007

So isn't the summer the time where the WWE usually has mass firings? I know it would be extremely bad or suspicious if they do it now, but wasn't that the trent the last two summer's? 2005 had what? Like 20 different talent released?
  18. Now that the Wrestlemania XX main event may be forgotten forever, there is something I've always thought about. Austin vs. Goldberg. Were there any talks about that match happening? I have no doubt that it would've been the main event for that card and it would draw buyrates, but was there really EVER any serious talk about that match happening?
  19. So with Rey Mysterio, it's a given since he can't talk due to the WWE 3 week policy of speaking to the media. But, the one other person I would like to hear from but haven't yet, Benoit's EX WIFE. Has anyone heard from her? Are they in hiding fearing all the media would go after them? We've heard from Benoit's parents so the EX Wife would be a good choice for some insight. Anyone?

WWE General Discussion for July 2007

So whatever to the talk of the WWE going around the globe? With WWE Mexico, Italy, Japan, etc........ I guess it's not going to suceed now with all the negative publicity WWE is receiving?
  21. Woohoo, I was there. I guess we all better be damn glad that the Horsemen DVD was released before all of this. Chris Benoit was a part of many of my favorite wrestling memories, but that's a given I guess since he was one of my all time favorites: -WMXX -Flair returns & Horsemen reform -Owen Hart tribute match, Bret Hart vs. Benoit -Benoit winning the Royal Rumble -Bret Hart defeats Benoit to win his first WCW title -Benoit winning the Super J Cup in '94 -The "best of" feud with Booker T -The Radicalz debut in WWE -Benoit vs. Kurt Angle at the Royal Rumble I could go on and on. I'll add some more. Smackdown 6 Benoit vs. Angle from 2001, it was a good feud TLC III Benoit vs. Austin (10 Germans in that match)
  22. Would it make more sense if they edit the whole Benoit involvement out or would you just rather the "blur" him out like the WWF logo?
  23. I wonder how the WWE will deal with Benoit in the Rumble matches. I get they'll just skip his entrance and he's magically there in the ring already. Rumble 04 will be weird because Finkel will just mention, "and the man who drew #2" with Benoit already in the ring. Either that or it's joined in progress.
  24. From rajah.com: So if they really do take all of his matches out of everything, some cards such as Wrestlemania XX and Summerslam 2004 are gonna look weird.
  25. Can't forget about the OLD AGAE OUTLAWS. Oh you didn't know? We need to some VIAGRAAAAAA!!!!!!!
