So let's see, apparently Sid had this storyline that he wanted the WWE to do that would center around him that would turn around the business? The "Vince angle" is definately turning heads if anything, if we piece the two together, does that equal a Sid return? He claims responsibility for blowing Vince up, demands a title shot and becomes the new WWE champion? And that revitalizes the business?

I am surprised that Cryme Time has such a good record, yet they are rarely seen on TV or even competing.

I wonder if the WWE has been cracking down on most of these sites, because of the sites listed I think only like 2-3 of them still exist.

After a little more than 5 years, I finally watched the Tommy Dreamer clip where he did his "extreme" things. Where was this suppose to go. For a refresher, he drank Undertaker's tobacco in one promo.

This move has been okayed by Triple H. Ok, serious, what the FUCK man. Triple H has to approve a roster move now? Really man, this is getting absurd.

Why did "Dean" Douglas get handed the intercontinental title at in your house? Not the kayfabe explaination, but the real explaination here. Also, why did Razor Ramon win it almost immediately. Why didn't they let Douglas run with the title? Did they already see a Ramon-Goldust angle down the road, so Douglas was "in the way"?

I'm shocked that Austin's Disturbed theme was edited out during the 2001 Royal Rumble. Taker's was also edited with you're gonna pay, and when Haku was introduced, they edited out J.R.'s line about "back in WWF obviously" or something to that degree.

So I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but does it bother you that the Intercontiential Championship is once again not defended at Wrestlemania? The last time it was defended at Wrestlemania was 5 years ago. Meanwhile, That US Title looks as strong as ever. I really wish they could've had a strong IC Title match just to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of Steamboat/Savage.

That was odd. No "we wish (wrestler X) the best in his future endevours". Anyone want to take a guess what he was caught with?

Got this from rajah.com In Silver Vision's latest newletter, they talked about some upcoming DVD releases WWE is planning on doing. Silver Vision is WWE's DVD distributor in the UK. - The Mr. Perfect DVD set will be called "The Life and Times of Mr. Perfect" and it will be a two disc set. It will be released later this year. DVD projects scheduled for release in early 2008 are as follows: - A twenty disc Summerslam Anthology DVD set will be released. - A two disc set on Batista will be released. - Another Shawn Michaels DVD set is in the works. - A Hell In The Cell DVD set is also scheduled to be released. In other DVD-related news, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the scheduled three disc "Best Of The Rock" DVD set has been put on hiatus. WWE asked The Rock if he could promote the DVD set when it was to be released in June, but he refused. So well, they might not be releasing it after all. There goes another $200+ for the Summerslam Box Set.

Got this from another board, for the people who really want to know what the set looks like: Picked up my set from bestbuy for $199.99 and mine still had like 5-6 sets left. It looks like they only sold one set yesterday before mine. Just a couple of things to add, I have seen the 96, 96, 97, 00, 03, 04, and 07 Rumble's so far. I really like that fact that during the Rumble match each guy is a chapter. So if you want to see a specific entrance of a wrestler all you gotta do is press next. The only music edit I've seen so far is Cactus Jack at the 2000 Rumble. A question I have too, does anyone know if the opening package for the HHH-Cactus match was remade? The one with this box set had WCW footage in it, and I'm pretty sure in 2000, WWE didn't own WCW footage.

After watching the 1998 No Way Out 8 man main event, I have one question. Were there any rumors of a big name to replace the injured Shawn Michaels? Maybe a huge heel turn from a WWF star? A WCW guy looking to jump ship? Hell, and ECW guy? I mean, really, Savio Vega wasn't in the cards since day one for that match right?

There was a story behind this and I can't remember all the details exactly. He knew that Bret was coming back, but he basically gave him an open forum to say whatever he wanted on live television and thus had no control over how the segment would go. There might have been some concern that it was a set-up or that Bret was going to say something detrimental towards the company. I don't recall this happening, but you'd be correct in assuming they were doing Bret v. Shawn at Mania 13.
