I know things are down right now, but I hope this board will survive. I checked out the new place and I still like this one better.

Can someone re-up the Joe & Punk and Punk & Cabana shoots please?

I would be down, but I can't do Wednesdays either.

I'm watching SuperBrawl '98 when Scott Steiner turned on Rick and joined the nWo. What's the deal with them using both sets of WCW Tag belts?

I don't know if I read this somewhere or just made it up, but I assumed there was maybe some bad blood from Austin's time in Memphis.

I got all of the Women's with something like 5:54 remaining.

Simple. The interview was pretaped with the 1986 belt, and Hogan wore the winged eagle (the belt specially made before WrestleMania III that never got used for some reason) for the first time when he went to the ring. For that matter, why did they make such a big deal about making the new belt before WrestleMania III, making a point that whoever walked out as champion would have the new belt, only for Hogan to use the existing belt instead for the next ten months? I always thought the Winged Eagle belt debuted at WrestleMania IV when Savage won the tournament.

I'm watching the Hogan/Andre match on the SNME set. During Hogan's pre-match interview, he's wearing the older WWF title belt that looks kinda like a bigger version of the WCW TV belt, but when he comes out, he's wearing the Winged Eagle belt. What's the deal with that?

I wish the site would let anyone make games. I would make a lot of wrestling ones.

Probably in jail.

I've never been to a televised show, just some house shows. The best was probably the TNA show last July: Angle vs. Styles, LAX vs. MCMG, and Petey vs. Kaz were all good. The SD/ECW house show I went to in September was pretty good too. Bourne vs. Chavo, a shockingly great Benjamin vs. Yang match, and I finally got to see Taker live (Triple H & Taker vs. Khali & MVP).

I didn't get to go to a show until I was 18. Cawthon's site doesn't like to load all the way on my slow internet, so this is from my own list: WWE – September 11, 2005 – Monroe Civic Center, Monroe, Louisiana: World Tag Team Title Match: The Hurricane & Rosey defeated Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch when Hurricane pinned Cade with a horizontal cradle to retain the titles Freakin’ Deacon pinned Mike Mizanin after a reverse DDT Rob Conway pinned Eugene after the Ego Trip Chris Masters defeated Viscera with the Master Lock “Carlito’s Cabana” with Kerwin White Shelton Benjamin pinned Kerwin White with a reverse cradle The Big Show pinned Gene Snitsky after a chokeslam Trish Stratus & Ashley Massaro defeated Victoria & Torrie Wilson (w/ Candice Michelle) when Stratus pinned Victoria after a Chick kick Edge (w/ Lita) pinned Matt Hardy after hitting him with a briefcase WWE Title Match (Handicap Match): John Cena defeated Kurt Angle & Tyson Tomko when he pinned Tomko following the F-U to retain the title

Ironically, I got all the US Presidents right in 2:48.

I got them all but with 6:15 remaining. I knew the one I missed, I just overlooked that box. On the KOTR one, I got and all the ones from 93-08. I couldn't remember on the WWE Championship one.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but what's with the Dusty finish in the Road Warriors/Anderson & Blanchard match at Starrcade '87? I was just watching it on the Starrcade DVD, and it looked like the match was custom made for the Warriors to win the belts in their hometown.

KOFI is in the Chamber? Did he and Kane botch as much shit as they did in their IC Tournament match?

I just got home. Someone give me the short version of what's happened so far?

Vertebreaker Go 2 Sleep (and any other move that involves someone getting KNEED IN THE FACE, especially if it's Regal doing the kneeing) Western Lariat Canadian Destroyer (Who cares if it looks contrived, this is Pro Wrestling) Genki Horiguchi's Beach Break Schwein/WA4/Celtic Cross/Kryptonite Krunch/a billion other names Moonsault (my favorite aerial maneuver) I'm sure I'll think of more later.

MY CAMERA MAN, YEAH!

Sorry if this has been discussed before... I got into wrestling a little later than probably most folks around here. It was Fall 1999 and I was in 7th grade. Everybody was talking about these "Stone Cold" and "The Rock" characters, and I was curious. Sure, I had played some wrestling video games (WWF Royal Rumble for SNES back in the day, and me and my friend would play WCW/nWo Revenge on his Nintendo 64), but I never had any interest in wrestling itself. One Monday night I was watching Walker, Texas Ranger on USA (Chuck Norris FTW!), and I saw the "Coming up on Raw..." thing they do 10-15 minutes before the show. I figure, "what the hell, I'll check it out." It was the Raw before No Mercy 1999 and featured the beginning of the epic Big Show/Boss Man feud (not match wise, but hilarious promos and skits), Jim Ross teaming with Stone Cold vs. Triple & Chyna, and the end of the show was Davey Boy Smith getting Rock Bottomed onto a tray of dog poop. I have no idea why, but I was hooked for life. What's your story?

I have Halloween Havoc '99, Mayhem '99, Starrcade '99, Souled Out 2000, and SuperBrawl 2000. We should definitely do some Late '99/Early 2000 WCW crap. -
It's a shame there isn't Saturday morning wrestling anymore for kids to stumble on accidentally and become lifelong fans. Even I had WWF LiveWire for a little while! I always watched LiveWire and Superstars to find out what happened on Smackdown. I didn't have internet until 2002 and I never got Smackdown except for 2006-2008 when it was on the CW.

Thanks for pointing out my typo, haws. I wonder if that Big Show/Viscera match is online somewhere. Youtube has a match between them, but it's not the one in question.
