Exactly. This whole idea of RVD winning the title in front of his "true fans" is stupid. He is one of the most over wrestlers in WWE, so I'd bet that if he won the the title at a WWE PPV, he'd get as loud a pop as he ever did in ECW.

What DVDs would you like to see the WWE release?
Wrestlefreak replied to iggymcfly's topic in The WWE Folder
I'd like to see a "WCW'S greatest matches" DVD. It really should've been done already. -
WCW/NWO Revenge is the best WCW game ever made. That's the one you should go for.

I have a feeling most people are gonne be indifferent towards his absence.

The OAO RAW thread for April 10, 2006
Wrestlefreak replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
But they haven't been addressing it in terms of booking. Like I've said on other threads, the best way to deal with this is to turn Cena heel. In regards to this whole Kane dark secret angle they started last night, I'm intrigued. IMO, Kane's character works best when he's mysterious/dark/psychotic. Chokeslaming his partner out of the blue doesn't feel wierd with Kane, because erratic behavior is apart of him. Having said that, I'm hoping the secret won't be as outlandish as the Katie Vick murder storyline. Maybe that's asking for too much. -
Does anyone know how to make title matches when your doing GM mode in Smackdown vs Raw 2006 on PS2. When I Choose a wrestler who has a title, I can't find the option to make it a title match. I've read the manual that comes with the game, but it doesn't tell you how to do it. I would be grateful to anyone who can help. Thank you. P.S. I thought it would be better to post my question here, rather than make a new thread.

Exactly. The WWE has no good reason not to.
-
No, there just Raw and Smackdown brand house shows.
-
Either way, its still gonna be poorly executed this year.
-
I think he'll get booed here in London too. The only problem is, because its a house show, it won't air on tv. I would love to see just how international this Cena hate has become.
-
It's such a dumb idea to make KOTR a Smackdown only PPV. If they really want to go back to the event's glory days, they would make it interpromotional. I really have low expectations for it. I was really excited. It's a shame.

I can't wait!
-
That's an amazing family tree, whichever way you look at it. Whether he can live up to peoples expectations. however, only time will tell. I have a feeling he will. WWE must really have faith in Harry because he'll skip the normal route of coming up through Deep south or OVW. Even guys that have previous training experience usually have to go through that process.
-
I think he has that giantism illness that Andre had and big show used to. Big show got treatment for it, but I don't know whether Singh has or not.
-
Many people within WWE feel(and have done for a long time) that Orton is arrogant and self-centred, so this upcoming suspension was bound to happen sooner or later. The longer he's out, the better. He's not main event material, IMO.
-
Exactly!
-
In this case, conventional wisdom is right, IMO. Angle is as over as you can get and the fans only began booing Rey recently. On top of that, the crowds are still fuelling the Eddie divine inspiration crap. So Mysterio is still popular, just not as much as Angle.
-
JR also said that on WWE.com. Beyond the muscular build of both men however, I can't see where this comes from. Lesner also had good technical skills but Lashley is just another muscle man, IMO.
-
Jericho/Cena at Summerslam 2005.
-
IMO, its mainly because wrestling runs in his family. WWE loves that.
-
What's the point of doing that match at an ECW nostalgia PPV. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they should wait a whole year to have him cash the contract in, but I do think the match is gonna feel out of place on the card.
-
Hogan is great at working the crowd, but in terms of ring work he's crap!
-
Well said. I'd rather the fans cheer for or boo who the like instead of being brainwashed by the WWE. Besides, it created a more interesting atmosphere. In regards to the entrances, I actually thought they were kinda cool, even though some of them were a littlle weird. I'm glad RVD won MITB. Should be good to see how it pans out.

I, too, have asked myself that very question!
