They've been having celebrities sing "America the Beautiful" for YEARS, my friend, way before Iraq. Aretha Franklin sung it at WrestleMania III. OK, Maybe not just since the war, but its still damn annoying!!

Styles is a great commentator, but there's something special about JR. Ross is very eloquent and yet has that relaxed Texas sound. That combination works very well. It's the same with Howard Finkel. He has a special quality, so they always bring him in to do the ring announcing at Mania

On Raw they said that girl from Destiny's Child would be singing "America the Beautiful" Why does the WWE insist on having somebody sing that song at every Mania since the Iraq war. It pisses me off! WWE is WAY too patriotic!

Bret's handling this HOF situation very well. Like another poster said, there's no reason for Bret to be at Mania. He should just do his speech at the HOF as a goodbye to the fans instead of being used by the WWE to spike the WM22 buyrate. As for what Bret said in regards to Shawn, I think he has every right to feel that way. Shawn may be a good wrestler, but we all know the guy's an asshole who has no respect for Bret.

I've always been a supporter of Finlay(even in WCW). I love his rough and tough style. Those kicks to Mysterio looked vicious, and the match overall was the best of the night. The feud with Lashley has also been cool. Long live Finlay!

I think they were just trying to promote the upcoming WWE CD "Reckless Intent". His new theme is on that cd so they'll probably start using it normally after the album is released.

Bret legacy goes far beyond the screwjob. People know he was a great worker and that he was a true pro in and out of the ring.

I will order Mania. The main draw for me this year is MITB. I know the build-up for this match hasn't been great, but since it was one of the the four good matches on last year's card, the likelyhood is that it'll be good. At least I hope it will.

Well, they won't say it out loud, but they want to make everyone think Bret will be involved somehow in order to spike WrestleMania's buyrate. I truly believe that's the only reason Bret is being inducted into the Hall of Fame THIS year--it could easily wait until next year, but they want us to think he'll be around the next night to do a run in. I don't think it's a coincidence that they keep bringing up Montreal and showing it, and having the announcers mention it every 20 seconds. Of course, Bret won't be involved at all, and Shawn will go over clean (or worse yet, Vince wins with help from Shane or Steph) and everyone will feel let down. And everyone at Titan Towers will just shrug and say "We never said Bret would be involved." It's already working. I've been reading different SNME recaps and I'd say 80% of them have some mention about Bret being involved at WrestleMania--because they keep bringing up Montreal. I feel sorry for those idiots who will plunk down fifty bucks and get nothing. Oh well. I know what you mean. It's so sad.
