As much as I'd love the impending Orton/Edge feud to be purely heel, I think Orton will become the defacto face. This New Breed/ECW Orginals angle is making me wish WWE had more factions. I never considered the "new and improved" Dx as a proper faction, given that it only had 2 members. I'm so glad Dx is dead.

This was an absolutely brilliant Smackdown! Finlay/Taker was awesome!!

Edge's excuses not to wrestle were hilarious!!! Even though the guest referee segment was too long, it would have been good to give Austin some time on the microphone.

Another good Smackdown, except for the Mcmahon/Lashley and diva crap.

The HBK video package was cool. Bring back Todd Pettengill!

Good show last night. I enjoyed Booker/Kane, except for the Khali finish. I could've done without the Mcmahon crap.

RVD/Edge was a good match. I don't see the point of putting Edge in MITB. I'd rather see Edge/Orton at Mania. Great to see Curt Hennig in the Hall of Fame!

JBL made this PPV watchable. I am ALOT more interested in Taker/Batista than HBK/Cena. Good to see Vinnie Jones.

A crap Raw this week. I did like how they booked the finish of the main-event with Taker and Batista.

Kennedy/Batista was better than their match at the Rumble. DD/London-Kendrick was also good. I wouldn't mind if DD gpt a push, but IMO Regal and Taylor deserve it more(when they return).

Surprisingly, a relatively good Raw tonight. Taker is the man. I really hope he goes over that no-talent Batista decisively at Mania. Flair's rant on Carlito was great. Really well done. Lashley sucks. He looked really out of place in the opening segment. I like how the Edge/Orton fued is going. Hopefully we'll get a grudge match at WM.

Benoit/Finlay was great. I love these two. The ending of Smackdown was cool. It should be a fatal four way at NWO, Instead of a tag team match. No matter what, I still think it will(and should) be Taker/Batista at Mania.

Great ending to Raw. I still think it's gonna be Taker/Batista at Mania, but it's great to tease otherwise. I think Undertaker should keep the streak. The rest of the show was crap, as usual.

I'm glad Taker finally won the Rumble(at last number 30!). The finish was great. I personally can't wait to see the Deadman in the main-event of Wrestlemania for the first time since 1997. Umaga/Cena was good. Test/Lashley was crap. Batista/Kennedy was good, but too short. IMO, it should have been given ALOT more time. I'm glad the Rumble match was last this year. It should always be last. Overall, a good PPV.

The show discussion in the spoiler thread started last week when the Smackdown thread was locked before the show even started. Its pretty bad that even with spoiler disccussion we cant hit 2 pages..but whatever. I have no idea why the mods suddenly decided to close my Smackdown thread last week. Your right though, it's sad we can't seem to reach 2 pages despite the fact that Smackdown is THE BEST brand. Great show last night. I like how they're booking the tension between Taker and Batista. Benoit carried Miz to a solid match. I really hope Taker wins the Rumble.

I'm intrigued by the idea of Edge/Orton. I love heel vs heel angles. Hopefully this feud won't be totally heatless though. I can't remember the last time we had a major heel vs heel storyline. Knowing WWE though, they'll probably drop it.

Benoit/Chavo was great. These two can always produce solid matches. By the way, does anybody know why my Smackdown thread was closed? I don't like reading the spoilers(like alot of people) so most weeks, I post a proper thread for the show after it finishes here in the UK(it finishes here before it starts in the US). Why can't we just have both threads, like we use to?

Test's elbow drop from the top rope was great. I totally agree that he carried Lashley.

The main-event was so stupid and crap. Perfect chance to finally kill DX and WWE chooses not to. There gonna have to do it some time. KILL DX

Benoit/Kennedy was a great match. One of the things that makes Smackdown so good is that the bookers give matches enough time to develop. I also liked the tag match. I would LOVE to see Regal and Taylor win the titles.

Smackdown Preview Beat the Clock: Week Two General Manager Theodore Long stunned everyone when he announced plans for the first-ever Beat the Clock SmackDown Sprint. What he didn’t tell everybody was that the landmark event would be held over the course of two weeks. That bombshell was revealed from Long, much to the dismay of current Beat the Clock pace-setter Mr. Kennedy. Long didn’t announce any of the matches, but did reveal four of week two’s participants. Those four men are Finlay, MVP, Matt Hardy and Undertaker. Will one of those men beat Mr. Kennedy’s time? Or will someone else emerge from the pack and sprint past Kennedy to the Royal Rumble? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Great show tonight! It just proves that Smackdown is still the best brand!

You're not the only one. I've always thought Lashley was overrated. His promos suck and his matches are only watchable when he has opponents with a good workrate. King Booker CARRIED Lashley through their entire feud on Smackdown. As for this week's ECW, it was another mediocre show. I hope they put the title back on RVD soon.

This Raw was REALLY bad. I fast-forwarded all the fake rosie//trump crap. Khali SUCKS!!
