Hardy/Nitro was good, as expected(I liked the finish aswell). HHH's injury didn't look worse than the first quad tear, but the pictures on WWE.com are pretty bad.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It was SO crap.

Smackdown Preview The Animal to open the show The World Heavyweight Champion will be in the Hampton Coliseum to open the show on Friday. The Animal plans to get SmackDown off to a quick start. Brothers of Destruction in action Fresh off their impressive singles victories at Armageddon, the Brothers of Destruction will be back in tag team action on SmackDown. Wait until you see who the Brothers face on Friday. U.S. Championship on the line The rivalry between Chris Benoit and the Guerreros will also continue on Friday. The Rabid Wolverine will put his United States Championship on the line against Chavo Guerrero in singles competition. The Armageddon aftermath begins on SmackDown this Friday night at 8/7 CT on the CW Network. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another good show. Judging by the quality of 2006, it looks like 2007 is gonna be another great year for Smackdown!

I voted for Taker, since I would personally love to finally see him win the Rumble. However, I'm not sure if he'd be interested in another World Championship run, given that it would inevitably mean a heavier work schedule- something I think he would rather avoid at this point in his career. I would love to see the Deadman as champ again. My second choice to win the Rumble is Kennedy.

I made a mistake on the topic description of a topic I posted. Is it possible to correct the error? If so, how?

Armageddon 2006 Card [ World Heavyweight Champion Batista & WWE Champion John Cena vs. King Booker & Finlay. Inferno Match - Kane vs. MVP. Last Ride Match - The Undertaker vs. Mr. Kennedy. WWE United States Championship Match - Chris Benoit © vs. Chavo Guerrero. WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match - Gregory Helms © vs. Jimmy Wang Yang. WWE Tag Team Championship Match - Paul London & Brian Kendrick (c's) vs. William Regal & Dave Taylor. - The Miz vs. The Boogeyman. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm looking forward to this PPV. Like I said on this week's Smackdown thread, I think it will be better than Survivor series, and certainly better than ANY Raw brand PPV this year.
-
I enjoyed the beatdown to close the show. Edge was really intense. Cena/Edge was decent(great crowd reaction). The rest of the show was a waste of the extra time. Raw can't even be good with three hours, while Smackdown manages to be great with less than two hours. Having said that, this week's Raw was better than usual. Cryme Tyme needs some ring-time instead of these stupid segments.

The ladder match was awesome! Chavo/Benoit was solid. Taker/Kennedy was good. Yang/Helms wasn't bad. Cena/Batista-Booker/Finlay was mediocre. Overall, Another good PPV from Smackdown!

Smackdown Preview The Champ is here Less than a week away from Armageddon, Raw's WWE Champion John Cena will stop in to SmackDown. What is on the Champ's agenda? Tune in on Friday to find out. Brother of Destruction vs. Loudmouths Following the chaos that unfolded during the SmackDown main event, General Manager Theodore Long announced that the Brothers of Destruction would face the team of the cocky MVP and Mr. Kennedy on Friday’s show. What will transpire when Armageddon opponents and bitter rivals clash in tag team combat? Bad blood continues The bad blood between former friends turned bitter rivals Chris Benoit and Chavo Guerrero continued on SmackDown. The allegedly ailing Vickie Guerrero confronted Benoit, accusing him of abusing her on purpose and delivered a vicious slap to the Rabid Wolverine before retreating to the waiting arms of Chavo. Will the issue continue heat up as their battle at Armageddon approaches? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Decent show tonight. IMO, Armageddon will be better than Survivor Series. I wish Cena wasn't on the card though.
-
This is not a work. Heyman has definitely gone. The random nature of this news proves it(just like Angle going to TNA). Heyman was right to be pissed off. December to Dismember was a poor show mainly because McMahon didn't want to promote any match except the Elimination Chamber, in order not to take attention away from it. The match was already the main-event, how much more can you elevate its importance? the answers is, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE! He had to be convinced to advertise MNM/Hardys. That's utterly stupid booking! Even the Elimination Chamber was a dissapointment. Heyman is better off somewhere else.

Smackdown Preview The Animal walked out of Survivor Series in Philadelphia the new World Heavyweight Champion. This Friday on SmackDown, Batista faces a huge challenge to his newly won title, as he will be put into action in a Triple Threat Match against former champion King Booker and The Angry Irishman Finlay. Mr. Kennedy scored the upset victory in the First Blood Match with Undertaker, but the brash Superstar paid a heavy price as he was beaten, bloodied, and laid out with the Tombstone after the match. Will Kennedy return to SmackDown with the same confidence he has displayed as of late? Finally, Chris Benoit was able to defeat Chavo Guerrero to retain his United States Championship. The Rabid Wolverine forced Guerrero to tap out to the Crossface much to the delight of the raucous Philadelphia crowd. Witness the SmackDown fallout for yourself, Friday night on SmackDown from Buffalo at 8/7 CT on the CW Network. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Another good show tonight. You can always count on Smackdown to deliver!
-
This PPV was better than Cyber Sunday but worse than No Mercy. Taker/Kennedy was good. Chavo/Benoit was decent. Batista/Booker was disappointing. Team Cena/team Bigshow was average. Team RKO/team DX was crap. Spirit Squad/Flair's team was also crap. I can't wait for the next Smackdown-only PPV, Armageddon!

Smackdown Preview M.V. Peeved After defeating Kane in a Manchester Street Fight, Montel Vontavious Porter was sacrificed by Mr. Kennedy to the Brothers of Destruction. Next week on SmackDown, the young Superstar will have nowhere to run as he faces the Big Red Monster in a Steel Cage Match, as ordered by General Manager Theodore Long. Chavo’s message As their intense rivalry became even more personal, Chavo Guerrero delivered a strong message to United States Champion Chris Benoit, attacking him with a chair after Benoit’s victory. Chavo wants Benoit to stay out of his business, but will the Rabid Wolverine persist to get answers? Royal Contract signing After weeks of buildup, King Booker and Batista will make it official as they take part in an official "royal" contract signing for their match at Survivor Series. Be sure to tune in as King Booker drops a royal bombshell on the Animal. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A really great show tonight. I loved it!
-
I TOTALLY agree! Especially Benoit/Finlay. Smackdown makes me proud to still be a wrestling fan.
-
RVD/Holly was good. I think they should have left the Hardy Boys reunion to Survivor Series, but it was still good. Lashley should have stayed on Smackdown. The fact that the 'extreme' elimination chamber has nothing more than weapons added to it is lame. Maybe they might add some more substantially new features, but it's unlikely.
-
The only decent match was Hardy/Nitro. The rest of the show was crap as usual.

Smackdown spoilers from England
Wrestlefreak replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
A great show as usual. Regal/London was especially good! I just booked tickets for Smackdown next year at Earls court. I can't wait!!! Smackdown rules!!! -
ECW is definitely much better than Raw, but they need to use the one hour timeslot more wisely. Very short promos and more time for each match. I would have a maximum of three matches. The matches on this week's show were to short. Smackdown is still far better than Raw or ECW.
-
Suvivor Series, he's in the legends team. Damn, I forgot about that. I'm hoping he'll be gone after that. Knowing WWE though, they'll probably just keep shoving Piper down our throats.
-
Another crap Raw, but at least WWE gave Edge and Orton the tag championship. Hopefully we won't have to see Piper for a VERY long time.
-
Great to see Benoit finally get some ring-time. Kennedy was intense as hell. He works better with Taker than Orton ever did. Lashley/Booker was great. The tag match was decent. Batista/Finlay was a great main-event. I LOVE Smackdown!!!!!!

Smackdown Preview King Booker entered Cyber Sunday as the World Heavyweight Champion and the ruler of the SmackDown Kingdom with the entire locker room in his corner. With help from K-Fed, the World Heavyweight Champion was able to defeat WWE Champion John Cena and ECW World Champion Big Show to claim his gold and the title of Champion of Champions. Friday on SmackDown, the triumphant King will address his SmackDown Kingdom. Time to fight Batista and Finlay will meet one-on-one in the ring this Friday night. After the brawl that ensued last week after The Animal called out the Angry Irishman, will the hatred between these two men finally be settled in the ring? Dead Man Walking? This week on WWE.com, Mr. Kennedy challenged Undertaker to a match at Survivor Series. Friday night on SmackDown, the loudmouth will call out the Phenom. What will happen when the two stand toe-to-toe? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I just watched the show. Another great Smackdown!

The OAO Raw #702 Thread (November 6th)
Wrestlefreak replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
This was an extremely crap Raw. It makes me sick knowing Piper and Flair are still tag champs. Cryme Tyme on commentary and the Shelton/Carlito segment were the only good points. Raw sucks! I can't wait for Smackdown. -
This was an utterly crap PPV. The only good point was King Booker's win. King Booker rules!! I REALLY hope WWE job Flair and Piper to Cryme Tyme tonight on Raw. I can't stand the dea of ANY more Piper matches. Piper is a total embarrassment. This PPV sucked!
