Debbie Killian, who is perhaps the best American woman wrestler to ever work full time in Japan when she competed as Debbie Malenko, called John Laurinaitis asking for a job with WWE. She made her wrestling debut in 1990 and generally competed in Japan until sometime in 1993 when her brief career was cut short at the mere age of 22 by a severe injury. Debbie Malenko was trained at the Malenko school of wrestling in Florida and originally went by the name Debbie Drake. When she went to Japan, they let her use the Malenko name because she was such a great worker. Anyways, Killian is only 35 years old, hasn't competed in at least 13 years, and doesn't exactly fit the "WWE Diva mold", so don't hold your breath on this one.

WWE sent out a survey today to their mailing list, asking questions about PPV buying patterns. The survey asked fans to rank the following in order of importance: main event participants, under-card matches, co-branded events, stipulation matches, and the historical significance of events. The survey also asked about PPVs not airing on Sundays, listing noon-4PM and 4PM-8PM as potential PPV timeslots. They also ask fans to provide information on the other PPVs they buy, going as far as naming UFC, TNA, and even ROH. WWE also mentions possibly starting a PPV Buyers Club where people who buy a certain number of PPVs will get free gifts, merchandise discounts, and more. WWE also asked about adding more PPVs, specifically non-wrestling shows involving legends, Divas, etc.

TNA Comments which don't warrant a thread

Credit: PWInsider.com, TNAwrestling.com Building on a story reported earlier, word is that the TNA house show scheduled for November 10th out of New Alhambra Arena in Philadelphia, PA will have a headline main event of Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe vs. A.J. Styles. This should tear the roof off of the former ECW Arena, and do it's legacy much justice and help establish TNA there at the same time. As soon as we get word on other matches for this event, we will have an update here on the newsboard.

Girl tries suicde but kills another

ATLANTA, Georgia (AP) -- A lovesick teenage girl drove into an oncoming car in a suicide attempt that she counted down "8, 7, 6..." in a text message to the female classmate who spurned her, authorities said. The teenager survived but a woman in the other car -- a mother of three -- died. Louise Egan Brunstad, 16, was charged Thursday with felony murder. Prosecutors said they intend to try her as an adult. If convicted, she faces an automatic life sentence. "She was actually counting down her imminent threat: 'Nine, eight, seven, six ... I'm going to do it,"' said Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard. Authorities said Brunstad rammed her family's Mercedes-Benz head-on into a smaller Daewoo driven by 30-year-old Nancy Salado-Mayo, who was killed. Salado-Mayo's middle child, Lesly, 6, was in a child safety seat and was treated for fractured ribs and other injuries. Brunstad, who was treated for an ankle injury, had told friends she planned to kill herself after another female student at Holy Innocents Episcopal School refused to have sex with her, Howard said.

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter In what was an expected moved, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE has released Dionicio Castellanos (Psicosis) last week. The decision was made to fire him two Fridays ago on October 13th, although the actual official firing is expected to be announced later in the week by WWE. WWE is awaiting all the details of his recent arrest so that they can have them on file before they actually let him go for legal reasons. His profile page still remains on WWE.com at the moment. Psicosis is expected to go back to AAA and feud with another wrestler named Psicosis - the feud he was involved in prior to signing with WWE in 2005. Those close to the situation say that he's recently had problems with his wife. Psicosis had been staying at home far too much since WWE wasn't using him and he was depressed about that, especially considering that the downside of his contract only paid him $500 a week when he wasn't working. Psicosis' last WWE appearance occurred at the 7/18 SmackDown tapings in a loss to Super Crazy. Prior to his termination, Psicosis was told that he was going to be brought back to WWE with a new gimmick. WWE officials asked him to a grow a mustache like a stereotypical Mexican Revolution general from a century ago (think Pancho Villa) and he would come to the ring with a gun belt.

Source: Figure4 Newsletter -- Vince McMahon was said to be "freaked out" after last week's "Ortiz vs. Shamrock 3" UFC special on SpikeTV drew a 3.1 overall rating and a 4.3 for the final quarter hour featuring the actual Ortiz vs. Shamrock fight. Vince went as far as to tell his writers to start coming up for ideas for Shamrock if they brought him in to WWE. -- Supoosedly Paul Heyman had to explain to Vince that the UFC special's huge rating wasn't drawn just by Ken Shamrock, but that it was the whole Ortiz vs. Shamrock rivalry dating back years. -- As of now, there's no word on whether the two sides are talking yet but WWE, namely Vince McMahon, is interested in the 42 year old "World's Most Dangerous Man". Shamrock is a former WWE Intercontinental champion who worked with the company during the Attitude era.
