World Wrestling Entertainment recently sent TNA wrestler Kurt Angle a nasty legal letter with a series of demands. All of their demands aren't quite known yet, but here are the demands known thus far. WWE demanded that Angle and TNA not refer to his ankle lock finisher as the "Angle lock." Angle laughed at that one because he had no idea that anyone called his finisher the "Angle lock" to begin with it, thinking it's always been the ankle lock. WWE also demanded that Angle not call himself "The Wrestling Machine," or "The Machine." Surprisingly, they didn't object to him wearing a mouthpiece, but it can't have "Machine" written on it. Also, we should find out soon if WWE claimed ownership to the term "Angle slam" and if he'll have to use a new name for the manuever. WWE can probably rightfully claim ownership to that term. Also note, the U.S. Olympic committee probably wouldn't allow TNA to use the term "Olympic slam."

Bible groups plan to protest The Amish murder victims' funerals

http://www.cnsnews.com/news/viewstory.asp?...T20061004a.html This guy is a complete idiot. I mean, the Amish never hurt anyone and generally stay out of everyone else's business. This guy is a media whore. God bless the Amish who will more likely just ignore him, rather than screaming back and giving him the attention he so craves. There's a special place in hell for Fred Phelps. -

I was thinking this when she was on Raw in the DX skit she seemed more natural and not afraid of being on TV. -
Authorities say a gunman has shot and killed three girls in a small Amish school Monday in the eastern U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Police say seven other people were injured, some seriously, before the gunman took his own life. A police official described the crime scene as "horrendous." He said the gunman walked into the school, sent the boys and some females outside, then tied up and shot the girls. The shooting rocked the usually tranquil Amish, a mainly rural minority Christian group which stresses humility and rejects many of the trappings of modern life. Police say the gunman was not Amish. The police official said the gunman had left what were described as "rambling suicide notes" in which he said he was seeking revenge for something that happened 20 years ago. The official did not know if there was any connection between the location of the shooting and the stated motive. The shooting in Pennsylvania followed reports earlier on Monday of lockdowns at two schools in Las Vegas, Nevada after reports of a teenager bringing a gun on campus. American schools have been jolted over the past week by gun-related incidents. On Friday, a school principal in the central northern state of Wisconsin was shot and killed. A student has been charged with his murder. Two days before that, a drifter in Colorado took six female high school students hostage. He molested the girls, then shot and killed one of them, before killing himself. The shooting in Colorado happened in a town not far from the site of the 1999 shooting incident at Columbine High School that killed 15 people. http://www.voanews.com/english/2006-10-02-voa41.cfm

Rob Van Dam missed the 9/23 ECW house show held in Tyler, Texas because he drove to the wrong town. RVD left the Dallas airport, which is two hours from Tyler, Texas, but got mistaken and actually drove all the way to Tyler, Oklahoma. Once RVD realized he was in the wrong town, he drove all the way back to Tyler, Texas. He managed to arrive to the building, but the show was over by then. It was announced at the beginning of the show that he wasn't going to be there and refunds were offered for anyone who wanted them.

-- Congratulations to Trish Stratus who got married yesterday. -- Several current and former WWE Divas were in attendance at the wedding, including Victoria, Ivory, Ashley Massaro, Torrie Wilson, Lillian Garcia, Lita and Maria. -- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that if Trish should return to WWE any time in the future, she would likely do so under a deal similar to what Hulk Hogan or Mick Foley have. This would allow her to come in for big events or angles without having to commit to anything too long.

Credit: WrestlingObserver.com Newsletter As reported earlier, WWE signed Henry O. Godwinn to a contract last week. This transaction is mildly controversial because several months back, Godwinn had a tryout match before an OVW taping and the reports on his ring work were terrible. Then again, he hadn't regularly wrestled in about eight years. John Laurinaitis decided against keeping him around in OVW and DSW, even though it was major WWE star's recommendation to use him. That star was Triple H. Henry Godwinn and Triple H are good friends. Had it not been for Triple H, Godwinn probably wouldn't have gotten all these tryout matches in the first place, let alone a WWE contract. Godwinn's son passed away last year, he needed a job, and he missed wrestling - so after Triple H told all that to some WWE officials, Godwinn got a second chance to show his stuff. Godwinn had three tryout matches two weeks ago, and the reports stated that he looked old and wrestled poorly in all three matches. Internally, some people believed that the Godwinn vs. Bull Buchanan match before the 9/5 Smackdown tapings was one of the worst dark matches in quite some time. Despite the lackluster reviews for Godwinn's in-ring work, Triple H managed to secure a job for him anyways. Godwinn will more than likely be a part of the Smackdown brand.

so how long before Jannetty gets fired i say 6 weeks -
I have been thinking is there any chance this whole Trish is retiring could be one big swerve I never seen anyone getting this kind of sendoff like her. Edge made a comment saying that all good looking people are from Toronto, they could have Trish beating lita and "retiring" as the womens champ they shake hands and trish leaves with the crowd cheering for her. Later during the TLC lita tries to interfer Trish not wanting that to happen runs down and takes out Lita and also does something to cost Cena the match aligning herself with Edge.

MSNBC has learned that U.S. officials have arrested TV reality star Duane "Dog" Chapman and two family members for extradition to Mexico. Chapman's wife told MSNBC's Rita Cosby that heavily armed U.S. marshals arrived at the family's house today and took away Chapman, his brother, Tim, and son, Leland. Cosby said she was told that Mexican government officials wanted the three men sent back there in relation to a three-year-old case. In 2003, the Chapmans went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to retrieve Max Factor heir Andrew Luster, who was wanted in the U.S. on rape charges. Luster is now in jail, serving a 124-year term, but at the time, the Chapmans were also jailed by Mexican authorities for a brief time three years ago. Bounty hunting is considered a crime in Mexico. At the time, the Chapmans were charged by Mexican authorities with illegally capturing Luster. The three returned to the United States after posting bail of their own. http://www.nbc10.com/news/9850095/detail.html

I would loved for her to turn heel one last time and be like she is going to retire the womens title and wrestle her last match in a place where she will be respected and place where the best fans are Canada.
