I just saw this, and I'd say Richie Incognito, a OL for the Rams, is a contender. It just sounds cool. It also gets points for being a last name.

Pretty excited about this Mets and Cardinals series. I'm also cautiously optimistic, since Jeff Weaver has been surprisingly pretty good his last few starts, Mulder is apparently coming back, and the Mets have some injuries/slumps going on right now.

What's the reason for that? Makes it too easy, or you just hate him for whatever reason? Anyway, despite the somewhat lackluster reviews, I'll probably end up buying this. I need my madden fix. And I love the idea of Hall of Fame mode.

I saw it last night. I was somewhat surprised to see the theater less than half full. I guess SOAP fever hasn't spread to Southern Illinois yet. It was pretty much what I expected. Snakes. On a Plane. That bite people in various inappropriate places. Throw in a bunch of one-liners and a ridiculous plot and there you go. Pretty good time. I'm pretty sure Kenan Thompson was my favorite part of the movie. Although, I used to watch Kenan and Kel and All That all the time way back when, and I hadn't seen much of his recent work, so it was pretty weird to hear him cursing. I was kind of hoping to hear him bust out a "WHYYYYYYY" during the film, maybe while getting attacked by the snakes or something. Oh well.

Finally, the Cardinals win in Chicago. Jesus, it took long enough.

A Chris Duncan Home Run and some pretty bad Cubs defense, including Marmol himself.

Preston Wilson homers in his first game as a Cardinal. Now if we could hold onto this 2 run lead, this would be a grand day.

The quest to win one effing game in Chicago continues today. And Preston Wilson eh? Eh, I guess he could be good. At least as a back up guy, I guess.

I would make fun of the Astros for getting swept by the Cubs, but the Cards are probably due for another 7 or 8 game losing streak, so I'll just be quiet. Besides, it's not like we do much better against them...

I don't know. I guess the irrational hate mostly extends from the rivarly thing. Also, the only Astros players I can think of that I like are Oswalt, Ausmus, and Bagwell(who isn't playing and will probably be retiring soon). The rest seem like nice enough guys, but are pretty bland for the most part. Eh, not a very good reason I guess, but whatever. Also, the Cards are on the verge of getting swept by the Pirates. I guess we aren't playing baseball the right way....what way is that, exactly? The not losing way? Aren't the Astros 2 games under .500? (for now) One last thing, fuck Joe Randa. That guy always turns into a bastard whenever he plays the Cardinals, it seems like.

Damn it Astros, stop winning. Nobody likes you. Okay, that's quite obviously untrue. Leave me and my irrational hate for the Astros alone. Also, wtf Cardinals, it's the PIRATES. At least Pujols is doing his part, he's got 3 doubles and a homer in 2 games.

If I do get one, it will more than likely be the Xbox360. I am simply uninterested in most everything that will come out for Wii, and the PS3 is simply too goddamn expensive. The more I think about it, I'll probably just end up upgrading my computer before dropping $400 on a new system.

I still don't know why they didn't give him a shot when they sat Aaron Brooks for whatever reason last year. I mean, you know what your gonna get from Todd Bouman. I always liked trading for him in Madden and turning him into a huge superstar. Pretty easy since he's basically a really, really rough Donovan Mcnabb in that game.

So I'm pretty sure the Rams aren't going to be any good this year, but hey, at least Martz is gone. Also, the new coach actually seems like he wants to run the ball.

Grand slam Jim Edmonds, wooo. Although, from what I'm hearing on the Cardinals broadcast, the Cards aren't planning on picking up his option. Uh, what the hell? Do we suddenly have an awesome center field prospect? Who are we going to replace him with? He's declining, but he's still a lot better than anything we could put in there. Edit: Okay, so I think I sort of misheard them. Apparenty, they just haven't told Edmonds whether or not they are picking it up, and he's not particularly happy about it.
