I guess I have a reason to watch on Friday. I need to know what really happened.

Comments that don't warrant a thread

I have a bad disk drive in my Cube and its past warranty. It usually crashes during Metroid Prime. My Xbox was crashing three or four years into owning it. I sent it for free and now it only crashes while playing Shenmue II/ I sure there is something wrong with my PS2 drive. I think games should be loading faster or I could be wrong. The Dreamcast never gave me any problems. -

Anaheim should have played better in Game 1. They kept missing passes and they were only concerned with body checking the Oilers. My faith is waivering a little bit. It was the first playoff game I went to that they have lost.

According to the LA Times, Marc Crawford is going to be named the head coach of the LA Kings. Also, there are actual ducks living in front of the Pond. (A good luck sign?)

I am excited because of the four teams: The Oilers are the only team to win the Stanley Cup. Anaheim, Buffalo, and Carolina were Cup finalists. The above three teams used rookie goaltenders to fight through the playoffs.

I was close with Edmonton. Oh and congratuations Edmonton. Anaheim won in four. Who saw that coming? Why can't Ottawa win in the post season? They were so dominating in the regular season but it's all about the post season. Glad I was wrong. I hate the Devils Western Finals: (6) Anaheim vs. (8) Edmonton - Anaheim in 6. Anaheim had a week off, plus they are on a six game winning streak. Eastern Finals: (2) Carolina vs. (4) Buffalo - Buffalo in 6. God wants me to fight with the defenseman on my team. You see, he's from Buffalo and he plays most of his games with his Buffalo jersey.

ok, I always wondered how she, while under the bed, got an arrow long enough to pierce through the bed frame, matress, and Kevin Bacon's neck through there and had enough room to do it. Shouldn't the arrow have been to long to give her a good enough angle? Because of that death, I stopped sleeping on my back. Also, at camp, I checked under the beds to make sure nothing was under there. -
Gretzky rink. I can't play ice yet. I can't hit or take a hit yet.

I keep telling you that I have at least 3 hockey rinks in driving distance from my house. I know the one I play at is packed on the weekends and when the high schooler play. As for the low attendance for Anaheim, when the new owners took over, they sold out all their club seats for this season. Plus, I think, overall, the Pond has been sold out 85 percent of the time. You see, in So Cal, if you look at 909's flags, the Ducks have to fight those teams for media coverage. It would be great if OC had its own ABC, NBC, and CBS that way the Angels and Ducks could come first.
-
I have an analogy for most of you: Anaheim is to LA what Long Island is to New York City. Different people and different backgrounds. Anaheim deserves its hockey team especially since they got new owners.
-
purist alert people complain about hockey not getting any new fans, and then there are comments like this I hate that hockey expanded. I mean look at this. I mean there has be like a 100 players that play every weekend at my rink. I don't think hockey is working in So Cal. Get rid of it, I say.

My father's ideas are: Invest in companies that you know and use. You should not put your money in company that you have a vague idea in what they do or where they are located. Watch CNBC or another financial channel, occasionally they give a couple of good tips. And never, ever put all your eggs in one basket.

I went to an actual taping of this. It is not that funny. Big deal, they swear. What's with all these comics playing blue collar workers on sitcomes?

Heroes of Wrestling. Awful production values, overweight Yokozuna, and a drunk Jake "The Snake" Roberts. -
What illness? Carolina is lucky. Cam Ward is doing a fine job in net.

I am little bit skeptical. I mean, that's a lot of name dropping. -
Forsberg out until January with ankle injuries PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia Flyers center Peter Forsberg needs surgery to repair ligament problems in both of his ankles, injuries that will force him to miss the start of the season and could sideline him until January. "I wish I could go back and prove it right now that when I come back I will be a better player," Forsberg said Wednesday. "And I feel as bad as anybody that I have to get this done." Forsberg said he would have surgery on his right ankle early next week and the left ankle will be repaired when the right one has healed. Forsberg said doctors told him each ankle should take four-to-six weeks to heal. Forsberg already had surgery recommended by a specialist in North Carolina, and saw another specialist for a second opinion in Houston on Tuesday, who also said Forsberg needed surgery. "It's going to be hard. It's going to be a lot of rehab," Forsberg said. "When I come back, it's going to be so much better." A precision passer and prolific scorer, Forsberg is best known for his offensive skill. He had 19 goals and 75 points in his first season with the Flyers after leaving Colorado to sign a two-year, $11.5 million contract last summer. Forsberg, an MVP with the Avalanche in 2003, said after the Flyers were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs that he would probably need surgery on his right ankle that could prevent him from starting next season on time. It turned out to be much worse. Forsberg has loose ligaments in his ankles that were more uncomfortable than painful. The condition affected his balance, put added stress on his legs and made it difficult to keep his right foot in his skate. "The boot doesn't fit my foot, my foot doesn't stick in the skate and then I can't skate," Forsberg said. "If I get it done, straighten up the foot and repair the ligaments I think it's going to be fine." Often considered one of the world's premier hockey players, Forsberg also had a groin injury that sidelined him for 22 games. His impact was obvious. Philadelphia was 35-16-9 with him in the lineup and 10-10-2 without him. Flyers general manager Bob Clarke said surgery during this season was never an option, and hopes the Flyers can play well next season until Forsberg returns to the lineup. "If he is going to have a successful rest of his career, he has to get this done," Clarke said. "He can't go this way or he is going to have this constant groin problem and back problems that this causes." Forsberg, who led Sweden to an Olympic gold medal in Turin, promised when he returned next season that Flyers fans would really see just how great he could be. "I am looking forward to coming back and start playing again and playing at the level I think I can play at because I don't think I was playing at my best last year," he said. "I think I had been getting worse and I am just so excited to come back."' http://www.nhl.com/news/2006/05/272042.html

Uh oh... Injured Senators goalie Dominik Hasek practises but will not play in Game 3 BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Goalie Dominik Hasek took part in Ottawa's practice Wednesday morning, but will not play in Game 3 of the Senators' semifinal playoff series against Buffalo. Ottawa coach Bryan Murray liked what he saw, but was not prepared to give a timetable on the goalie's return. Hasek has been sidelined since injuring his groin in the Olympics in February. "He was quite active," Murray said. "He probably could play if he had to, but he's not going to." Hasek practised extensively on Wednesday for the first time in two months, and looked sharp throughout the short workout. "I can feel a huge improvement," Hasek said. "I finally feel like a goalie." The Sabres are up 2-0 in the best-of-seven series. http://www.nhl.com/news/2006/05/272014.html Should the Senators lose again, I think they may use him for game four.
