There is something wrong about this: http://www.nhl.com/news/2006/03/262546.html I think about all the great goaltenders before and during his career but I can't believe that no one else accomplished this feat.

March 8th WON news - Vince guts Cena - Hogan
Prophet of Mike Zagurski replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Where's the story about Vince or any of the wrestlers paying off the mortgage? Where is the memorial show? This is sad. Vince helped Steve Austin before he was Stone Cold with his house... -
Could someone explain the trap to me?

I don't think you mean this but you can buy and download it at: www.idsoftware.com. I play Wolf3D on my Xbox. It was bonus game with Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

What's going to happen with SmackDown!? -
Oh and he dragged the Mighty Ducks to the Stanley Cup Finals as a rookie NHL coach. I'm suprised he is doing so well in Detroit. Alot of NHL fans accused the Ducks of using the trap and I thought Mike would make the Red Wings a more defensive team.

Hi, welcome to the board. I don't want to trash your ideas but I have a different viewpoint. Most wrestling fans know what is really happening backstage. It is not as impressive, as let's just say, 15 years ago without the internet. As far as work rate is concerned, I don't view matches in stars but in entertainment value. Are you talking about old school wrestling? It's ok, I find it boring to. Are you a smark or casual fan? Casual fans don't really know much about wrestling. I thought about this for awhile. Guys like the Rock and Foley have a few things that the guys of today don't have: A gimmick and charisma. What I mean is, The Rock couldn't have come out during his first promo as the 'Great One' and if Foley went for the cheap pop during his first promo, we would not be talking about them today. Even though they changed characters, it was character growth. Rocky Maivia wasn't a great gimmick but he was able to change his character by taking his fustration out on the fans. Mankind changed from a tortured man to a loveable um author within 3 years. They were able to connect to the audience. Every great wrestler has been able to connect to the audience in some way. I don't know anything about Boston. As for working class, see:Samartino, Bruno, Hogan, Hulk, and Austin, Steve. He can't do a working class hero gimmick. John Cena should go back to doing edgy raps. He connects with kids because they buy into the hip hop culture. This idea has been written on the board. TO is over. It's about Bode Miller now. I'm kinda buying into Momma now. He got an IC title out of it so far. The TO gimmick won't get him anywhere unless they can get Vince Russo to be his agent...or maybe the Coach. Ah yeah. If he gets a valet, I'll care about him... No, what he needs is a finisher and he needs to do it a lot. This guy is like Christian. The only way you know he's hit his finisher is because you'll played the video games. Heels other than HHH need to hit their finishers and win cleanly sometime. As for Carlito being a tough guy, it is not going to happen. A guy named Carlito Carribean Cool who spits apples at people doesn't sound scary. He was in the last EC match and it didn't make his seem stronger. Vince Russo...is that you? From day one, this company should have pushed Big Show, like the next Andre the Giant. He should have had an incredible undefeated streak and main evented WM. Instead they've messed him up so many times. I think he and Kane have defended the Tag Titles twice. The Spirit Squad need new gimmicks now. I was cheering for HBK to win last night. Most likely, 3 out of 5 of the SS will be released by the end of the year.

The music of Super Street Fighter II
Prophet of Mike Zagurski replied to The Czech Republic's topic in Video Games
I hate playing this game online... With that said, I have several remixes of the background music. I like Ken's music because it's jazzy. I have M. Bison's theme and it reminds me of the Undertaker's theme with bells. It's called Nesshou!! Street Fighter II ~ Instrumental Version. -

Blading has been a staple of wrestling for a long time. I believe the practice has been around since the '60. I had this post in my head for a while. One, I don't dislike or cringe at the sight of blood. I think now it is used too much that it's effect has lost meaning. Two, I think these men are tough. Bleed the hard way. Three, it's always the head. In cage matches, the wrestlers' fingers climb the cage, but they aren't cut by the unforgiving steel. Their backs hit the mesh and their backs don't bleed. I would be more for blood in wrestling, if two guys really fought hard, beat the hell out of each other, and made each other bleed. Wrestlers' bleed when there is not a sharp object around. Mesh on a cage, smooth steel chair, and exposed turnbuckle belts are just a few examples of stuff that could make you bleed but it would take some effort. Of course, these objects do hurt. Blood is supposed to tell a story, but I think, especially now, it is over done. I remember when Ric Flair was winning matches and wondering when he was going to bleed. So what are your thoughts.

After going to Best Buy, Target, Circuit City, Gamestop, CompUSA, Gamestop, EB Games, Wal-mart, and finally EB Games, I got my component cables. I love my Xbox. Most of my games support progressive scan and they look beautiful and crisp. I know the PS2 and Gamecube have component cables too but I don't have that many with the progressive scan feature. I got a new Xbox DVD drive from Microsoft about 6-9 months ago and Shenmue II is the only game that crashes on it. -
Good wrestling games for the Gamecube

I am sure a few people here will recommend WWE: Day of Reckoning 2. I haven't played it but I heard it is good. I have WWE Wrestlemania XIX and I like it. The controls are similar to No Mercy. There is no season mode. There is a story mode where you play a disgruntled WWE wrestler of your choice and you try to sabotage WM XIX. Mostly it's handicapped fights against WWE roadies who have a bigger move set than Chris Masters. Occasionally, you'll fight a WWE superstar. This mode is goal oriented. You have eliminate, protect, or escape something. It can get frustrating after awhile. Regular matches are fun. I like the tables in these games. I can do more moves through them than I could with the SD series. -
And of course it had to get worse

Remember when Eddie died and Vince said his family would get royalties for life, I think this is what he invisioned. Maybe Eddie's wife will wrestle Orton or Mando and Chavo Sr will interfere in the match. -
I am sick of blading...
Prophet of Mike Zagurski replied to Prophet of Mike Zagurski's topic in General Wrestling
When Benoit and Edge were tag team champions, he was either bleeding while defending the belt or when Edge attacked him. I think it was one of those "we're tag team champions but we don't like each other bits". -
How do you know two heels are going to win titles at WM? I could see Randy tap out to the Anklelock. I miss long build ups to WM matches. Only Vince/HBK has any build up to it. Orton should win the title now and job to Rey at WM. Cena vs HHH will suck because I can't think of any reason...HHH has become a shell of his former self. All he does is want the title and cut promos about it. They just push this match the usual way. HHH will use sledgehammer and Cena will get busted open. Cena will win at Mania and lose the blow off match at Backlash or Badd Blood in HIAC match.

Whatever happened to the Olympic games of the past where amatuers played? "Do you believe in miracles?" The Coyotes should bring back Bob Francis to coach the Coyotes.

My dad would find it ironic if the Ducks made it to playoffs and the Kings didn't. Too bad the Ducks couldn't win a shootout to save their lives. Gambling... well, all those players needed to do something during the lockout.

Liked the last 5 minutes of the episode. House shouldn't be happy. He should be misrable, so he can make everyone else misrable.

Doesn't make sense to me, unless there was surge of HDTV buying recently. -
WM IX was in Las Vegas. I'm sure it rains in Las Vegas but its probably rare. Wasn't WM XIX outdoors too? I know Safeco field has retractable roof and I thought it was open. Let see the Undertaker beat... Snuka Roberts Giant Gonzales King Kong Bundy Diesel Sid - I know during this match, the commentators brought up Undertaker's unbeaten streak at WM. Kane Bossman HHH Flair Show/A Train - I thought the streak was in troble here. Maybe someone else can elaborate because it was supposed to be Taker/Jones vs Show/A Train. I supposed Nathan Jones could have been pinned and Taker's streak could have ended. Kane II Orton So, Taker has wrestled a few old guys, an awful wrestler, a fat guy, a lazy guy, the master of the powerbomb, his brother, a guy the Undertaker killed, the real boss man, a living legend, a guy with a WM losing streak, the fake Kane, and a future main eventer.
