I pay for mp3's only if: 1) It is a song I really like 2) It is hard to find anyother way. Buymusic.com sucks because you have a number of times you can download the song and if the license does not get downloaded with it then you are screwed. I paid for a couple songs but I never got to listen to them. I e-mailed tech support (India) and got no help from them. I cannot put the songs on my mp3 player because it does not have Digital Rights Management. I can, however, burn these songs to a million CD's and then rip them on to the MP3 player. MSN Music is good because the songs are bought through Windows Media Player. I have not had any problems with them.

In the NHL I would like to see if the following could be achieved: 1. A goaltender starts all 82 season games. He does not have to finish. This would be hard because of all the fatigue and stress it puts on the player. Lots of goaltenders play 60+ games. 2. 100 career shutouts by a goaltender. I believe Broduer is close to this. 3. Gretzky said scoring 50 goals in 29 or 39 games would be his hardest record to break. Maybe it can be broken by Crosby or what about Overchecking.

The man who bought the Ducks owns the Pond. If someone else buys the Ducks, he would be stuck without a tennant unless the Clippers move into the Pond.

Somebody mentioned this on board somewhere. The last two times the Cup has not been defended (1919, 2005), the Red Sox have won the World Series. I been thinking over and over again what can be done to save hockey. It is obvious that most of the contracts of the top players are over-inflative. So I thought about the WWE and their contracts because they have a bloated roster. Why can't salaries have downside guarantee of a million per player (or any number) and then base the remainder on performance, merchandise, and ticket sales just like in wrestling. It might encourage some players to step up their games. I know they have some of these things written into to their contracts but if you turn in it to wrestling and make them a majority performanced based. I think it should even itself out because the players will make what they deserve.
