That blog was pure bullshit and missed the point with the boards desicion. And I think a lot of people have missed the point that (probably) the main reason Sony or Nintendo aren't putting this game out is to cover their own backs. Imagine if you will, Nintendo are the only company to put this game out. A week or so later, a teen goes out and kills someone in a brutal way. Now this kid is probably mentally disturbed and would have committed this awful crime no matter what, but the police discover a Nintendo Wii and a copy of Manhunt 2 in his room. Who are the police and more importanly the media going to point the finger at? Rockstar and of course, Nintendo. Rockstar get a lot of bad publicity as it as and they will most likley see it as a good thing, but "family friendly" Nintendo will not take it so well. They will have media bashings for ever and ever being "blamed" for this crime as they were the ONLY ones to put the game out. The same goes for Sony or MS. The American ratings board are giving this game an AO rating to cover thier backs and Sony/Nintendo/MS are not putting these games out to cover thier backs. I can fully understand the fear of rating games like this. It is different to watching a film, just as ratings boards look again at films when rating them on DVD. Its not only the fact that you as a player are doing these truly horrible things, but theres also the replay value. Now im sure many people here will argue with it and a lot of internet geeks will piss and moan because they cant play a game where they can more than likely rip out someones testicles whilst raping a cat and watching porn all the while taking class A drugs and poking their victims eyes out with a rusty screwdriver, but the point still stands. Having said all of that, the only thing that all this media hoo-har has done has made people want to play the game more. So if and when Rockstar change the game, people are going to go ape shit for buying this game just too see what the fuss was about. And after all that, they will more than likely realise that the game is just as shit, if not shitter, than the first game.

I can see why people like Cena. I really can. He is a very hard worker, if not the hardest working man on the roster. Not only in-ring but out of the ring too. He's truly dedicated to his work and his very deserved of his place in the main event scene. That being said, I am SICK to death of him winning all the time. I was really pushing for Randy to win the belt at Vengance, much like I am with every match Randy is in. (I don't know why, but I mark out for the guy.) I at times have come off as the "OMGZ CENA IS TEH SUX!!!1111onetwothree". But I'm really not, I'm just sick of his character. That's all I have to say, I'm not a fan of his in-ring work, but I can see he busts his ass. I'm not a fan of his title reign, but I can see why he's champion.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
luke-o replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
Does anyone know if TNA's said anything about the situation yet? Or it's stars who knew Chris? Angle, Christian, Rhino etc. -
Same as a DX vs NWO fued. 10 years ago, people would have cared. I can't see people going for an Angle/Shamrock fued. As you said, its about 5 years too late.
-
I can actually see Harris as champ at some point, which would be great for TNA's reputation as he would be their first real "home grown star". Same goes for Storm. In fact, I can see his eventual fued with Rhino to be really good for his carear.
-
I'm still a firm believer that "Dare" is a better song. ...Just.
-
I hope so, Im a fan of Harris. Even with the poor White Zombie rip off music.
-
In fact, Im suprised its taken so long for a Shamrock/Angle match. I would have thought WWE would have captolised on that as soon as Angle started to use the Ankle lock.
-
I did enjoy Impact, but it felt like the last Impact before a PPV with all the run ins leading towards the matches at the PPV. I'm enjoying Angle more now that he's a heel. The only bit of the run ins that pissed me off was Abyss taking Cage out into the back. It really took a lot away from the action in-ring. I also liked that Rhino (for the first time in ages) looked like a world chamion contender.

Just saw a copy of the film, it's hillarious. I'm going to see it at the London Open Cinema screening in London in August too.

Cool, thanks for clarrifying that. Still, I don't like it.

The more I look at the picture of Iron Man, the more I like it. It seems to get less sqaushed every time I see it.

"You scratch our back and we'll scrath yours" "The one thing you should know about my back is that it's on my cock!"

Yeah, Chyna just sounded bitter. -
I just saw a bootleg copy of "Knocked Up", that film is fucking great.

I was actually expecting "forums.thesmartmarks.com" to be the first post in this thread.

Oh its Marty McFly, I didn't realise it was him from that picture. Yeah, that is pretty funny.

You do realize that Transformers, with the exception of the two Mainframe series, WAS anime, right? Well i never considered the orginal series to be "anime". In all honesty it could just be I don't know the line between whats "anime" and whats "manga". Probably due to my ex refering to things I would have considered "manga" as "anime" (i.e. Naruto - which by the way, is garbage.)
-
Meh, I think it'll be good. It's weird though, I've been playing EWR so much as TNA today that when I completly forgot who was champion in TNA as I was thinking about my game. I have too much time on my hands at this present moment.

Maybe it's a work~! -
I think AndewTS hit the mark with everything that was wrong with the game.

I've only played 1. The 2nd one has some questionable innovations, mainly the health bar/psych-lock that is designed to make the game more challenging. I've heard overall it isn't drastic. But you can get PW1 for 20 bucks, so I'd start with that. *Resident PW mark* PW1 is quite possibly my favourite game of all time, everything about the game is perfect. The storylines are very involving and well written, the character design is fantastic and the soundtrack is imense. PW2 is almost as good as the 1st one, but not quite. In retrospect, its really not as good. The cases aren't as good and in 2 of the 4, there just annoying. The characters are not as good, but the soundtrack is very good. As with what Andrew said, the "psych-lock" function is very strange if a nice addition. I'm still not keen on the idea, but I'm planning on playing through the game again so I will resereve judgement just yet. Having said that, I really liked the health bar idea, IMO it was better than the 5 explanation marks you have in the first game. And if your looking for a game that will consume a lot of your time, I'd give Hotel Dusk a go, although it's HEAVLY text based. And if you're into fun card games, you could give Capcom vs SNK card fighters a go.

Yeah, I remember reading about that when I was searching through Jason Lee's work a few months back. And the season finale to 24 season 1 was amazing, I still remember watching it. Ive actually been watching through seasons 3 and 4 (I've got a lot of time on my hands while I'm unemployed and I've finshed watching all of my Twilight Zone DVDs) and it just make me realise how shit the 6th season was, I didn't even finish watching it.

I hate how America's cartoons are making more of an effort to look like anime. It pisses me off.
