To be fair, she is pretty gross.

That's one of the reasons I stopped using my 360. Give me something different!

It must just be me, but I can't get those last two videos to run smoothly on gametrailers. They're really jerky.

Austin vs Angle vs RVD
-
That looks awesome.
-
Oh man, those Tenay and West gimmick accounts were awesome.

Well no shit sherlock. But if you ask me that fued was dragged out for too long and should have ended sooner. Furthermore, if you ask me, Sting vs Joe with Sting as champion would have done better for buyrates that Sting vs Jarrett.

Finally watched the show, not too bad of a PPV. I skipped two matches (which is less than Mania) and the ones I watched we're enjoyable enough. X-scape: I still think a Creed win would have been great here, but they probably booked the right decision. The spots we're fun enough and the action was fast paced. A great way to kick off the pay per view, but good lord didn't Tenay and West hammer home the point that Dutt was Lethal's friend. Queen of the Cage: Thank God the start of this was brief. The match itself was fine and a nice way to get all the women on the card. BG vs Kip: The first match I skipped. The build was great, but I didn't fancy wasting my time on what I knew would be a naff match. Cuffed in a Cage: A really bad idea that actually wasn't all that bad of a match. The wrong people we're pushed and this Super Eric stuff can't go on for much longer. Kim/OBD vs Kong/Mellissa: This could have been a great match we're it not for Melissa's crap gimmick. I'm still fairly sure it's racist. Booker T/Sharmell vs Roode/Banks: The other match I skipped. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Booker and Roode and I LOVE Payton Banks, but I just wasn't feeling the match. Don't know where either man will go from here. Lethal Lockdown: Great match that I really enjoyed. A nice spot at the end and everyone played their part well. Even if the ending was a bit sudden. Angle vs Joe: I'm sorry, but this wasn't all that great. It may be because I'm not a fan of MMA, but it was mostly boring. The build was awesome and all the vignettes we're great, but to me it was a let down match. As I said, it's probably because I don't like MMA. Frank Trigg was ok on commentary but I mostly phased out what he was saying. The compaints about the "boring" and "we want wrestling" chants are pointless, there were about 5 people chanting the latter and one very loud person shouting the former. The crowd bought into the match and the ending was pretty good. I'm just glad that Joe won clean. Does anyone have Meltzer's ratings?

BFG 05 was the wrong time to put the belt on him, he still needed to be built up then. A perfect time would have been BFG 06, the hight of Joe's popularity. But I am glad that they didn't hotshot him the belt like they did with Christian.

Sandals = fine. Sandals with socks = not fine.

To be fair, Ashley is pretty gross.
-
Well that goes without saying. But Lethal would have to drop that gimmick if he we're to step up to the main event plate. Which I don't see happening.
-
That's who he looks like! That's been bugging me for weeks!

My argument was "in a perfect world, Lethal, Roode, or Storm would dethrone Joe". I didn't think I had to say, they need to book it well. I thought people would just have common sense to know, that I meant if everything was done right those 3 guys would be the right guys to get a run with the belt. Hince me saying "in a perfect world, Lethal, Roode, or Storm would dethrone Joe". Angle was also a comedy character most of his reign, when they took his gimmick in a new direction and made him more serious for the Joe match, people brought it. You can easily move Lethal away from the comedy, it worked during the Lethal/MCMG vs 3D/Devine feud. Even in a perfect world it still doesn't work. Roode and Storm are midcarders (the latter of which needs to change) and Lethal is nothing more than an X division champion. At least for forseeable future. Now if they we're too build up said three wrestlers then you would have a point. But it's going to take time to build all of them up to be main event calibur, so them ending Joe's run isn't going to happen anytime soon. Even in a perfect world. And please do bear in mind that Lethal only got over when he got the Macho gimmick.

Proof furthermore that Randy Marsh is a God. Hillarious episode.

I'll definatly be checking this out. I'm not sure if I can get passed how much of a cunt Brand is, but I'll certainly give it a go.
-
Wow... I did not see this coming.
-
But if your argument is that Joe is not a main event player because he's booked as a chump, then how can you justify putting Lethal as the top guy in the company when he's booked with a comedy gimmick?
-
It's bad enough they had Williams do it.

The TNA title is not that prestigious, man. Jay Lethal holding the title, is just as legit as Christian, Joe, Abyss, Rhyno, AJ Styles, Killings, and Jarrett holding it. Wrong, Christian now looks like a main event player Joe has always been main event caliber Abyss, although a mostly naff gimmick, can fill the main event role well. Well, at least he used to be able to, when he had Mitchel as his mouth peice. Rhino is a main event player AJ Styles is someone who is a bit in between for me as he fits into most roles. But he's been on the top for so long he could be seen as a credible main eventer Jarrett would be the only one I agree with, he is nothing more than a midcarder who got the "friend push" in WCW and the "Daddy owns the company push" in TNA. But Lethal, wins over people like Team 3D and Angle aside, is not a person who you could take seriously in the main event scene. Yet.

Yeah, and all black mages look like jawas

We can compare this to The Hurricane or Midnight Rider, but this is basically Russo finally getting his Blue Blazer gimmick out there and to give it a finish. Russo has said himself that he loved the Blue Blazer gimmick because everybody knew that it was Owen Hart but he would flat out deny that he was Owen.
-
Yeah, but Jay Lethal - TNA World Heavyweight Champion? I don't buy it.
-
Because Steiner is not a chicken shit heel. He thinks he can take on anyone at anytime.
-
Lethal? Are you serious?
