I just checked the line up for X7, I'd actually forgotten how awesome the show was.

I believe I waited a week until I posted my "Let's talk about" thread. And mine was awesome as it wasn't about a Wrestlemania.

Saw the movie today, it's pretty much a non-event. I came out of the cinema and could only recall the Ghostbusters spoof and I'd already seen that in the trailer. The performances weren't great, the pace was slow and it was just overall boring.

The complaining about stylised dialogue is something that bugs the shit out of me. Complaining about people who think it's "natural" is right on the other hand. Writers write a script in the form of a World that they would like to live in. For instance, in Kevin Smith's ideal World, everyone would speak in monologues and digress pop culture to the Nth degree. Tarantino's perfect World is a place where everyone has seen (and liked) every film that he has seen. And so on. The script was my favourite part of this film. Was it "naturalistic"? Not a chance. Was it awesome? You bet.

Armaggedon, but certain people on this board think the title still has value. I guess the same applies to Jeff Hardy and his I.C. Title. I forgot both had the titles in all honesty. And is it just me? Or does MVP seem to job to Batista almost every week on Smackdown?

Where is this feature?

I can see the ethos behind the "focus on the wrestling", but these people always make out like they should ignore storylines completly. How far can you take, "this guy wants to fight this guy for the title because he doesn't like them". If they do that week in week out it will be just as shit (if not shitter) than it is now. Now I'm not saying that TNA is awesome (calm down HTQ) and yes their storylines are toss at best, but without them it would be a boring product.

...Damn.

Charles "Goodfather/Goodfather" Wright said in his shoot interview that he hated RTC because he was having so much fun as Godfather. But the change to "Goodfather" got a slight chuckle out of me first time round. I agree on Bull, remember the tag match from WM2000 between Bull and Bossman against Godfather and D'Lo? Bull was awesome in that match. Val was underused, it would have served better him fighting against them ala Chyna, but the storyarch of him joining was pretty cool. If only it had played out more and we had some sort of payoff - like him realising what tools they are and fighting against them again. Ivory was hawt. It's easily Stevie's best work in the E. Plus, their ring attires where great.

I found out today that I missed No Way Out. Can someone give me a break down?

Saw it last night with my date (giggity) I'm in two minds about the film. Ellen Page and Michael Cera were awesome and all the supporting cast were great (even Garner), Reitmen's direction was pretty good, the soundtrack was awesome, the script was fucking hillarious and brilliant and they mention not only the Melvins but The Wizard of Gore. Yet I can't help but feel it was an average movie and I don't know why.
