    *Smackdown Spoilers*

I suppose if it ends up in a triple threat then it's not such a bad idea. It's definatly not a good one. And if Cena go to wrestlemania, it will be the 3rd in a row where the Rumble winner hasn't headlined.

    *Smackdown Spoilers*

Cena decided he wanted to go ahead and cash in his title shot at No Way Out. The purpose of the RAW EC is to determine a number 1 contender to the winner of the match between Cena and Orton. Which begs the question, why did he win the Rumble?

    Nightmare on Elm Street

Fuck Michael Bay. This really does not need to happen. Neither does Friday the 13th. As a 80s slasher film mark, this really pisses me off. For the record, Nightmare II was a pile of toss. Nightmare 3 is almost as good as the first one. I even enjoyed 4,5 and 6. Furthermore for the record, the press release is incorrect: Krueger haunted 8 films. Nightmare 1-5, Freddy's Dead, New Nightmare and Freddy vs Jason. Unless they count Freddy's apperance at the end of Jason goes to hell.

    The 2008 Royal Rumble Thread

I managed to avoid all spoilers, but for some reason managed to call the Cena apperance. Just as a "Somehow I reckon Cena will still manage to win this whilst being injured". I know it's now "cool" to like Cena nowadays, but the thought of that guy headlining and winning WM AGAIN pisses me off. The guy has great work rate I'll give him that, but as an in-ring star he's totally overrated. I also call a HBK/Taker match at WM. JBL/Y2J was alright, good choice for the ending, keeps the fued fresh. Orton/Hardy was very good. Although I knew Hardy wouldn't win, I was really pushing for him to get the strap. Overall, the Rumble was OK. It's certainly not the best. Cena's apperance was awesome, and the crowd pop was equally as awesome. But apart from that it was pretty non-event. There was no one else in that Rumble I would have wanted to win.

I like how they keep getting progressively weirder looking as you go down the line They honestly can't think they look cool.

Asterix. And I've had zero problems with my Wii so far and I've had mine since day one.

    Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I'm not 100% convinced on that roster list. King K Rool seems a bit left field. But I would love it if I could have a Robocop vs Jesus fight. HAHA! I've just noticed they have Ouindan and Purple!
  12. Meh, the Shark Boy stuff is pretty funny.

    Spoilers for Thursday and 31st

That doesn't suprise me. Most wrestling papers (from what I can gather) don't like comedy characters. At most, I see a few comedic segments out of this rather than a serious push ala Lethal.

    Spoilers for Thursday and 31st

I've only watched half of Impact last night (it's the first one I've watched since Scott Hall no showed) and it seemed pretty good. The tag match was alright, the hardcore match was decent enough. But the Shark Boy stuff really made me laugh. From the video vignette, to the actual match to the after match promo, I really enjoyed it.
  17. This was something I was thinking of while I was playing Mario Bros 3. You know those levels that when you get to them you just think, "Urgh.." Labrynth Zone in Sonic 1 - I detest most underwater levels, but this one especially. Any Airship levels in Mario Bros 3 - Constatnly on the edge of my seat because I'm so panicky that I'm going to die and have to do this AGAIN. The "Don't go into the dark areas" part of Gears of War - Mainly because this is the part I never get past and I start the game again playing it withsome else. I must have played the start of that game about 30 times. Share some of yours.

    Wii

Yesterday I bought: NiGHTS - I've only done the training mission, but it's pretty crappy with the Wiimote. But I used the classic controller and now it's pretty good. I can live with that. Ghost Squad - Good arcade fun, I'm glad it was only 30 quid. Zack and Wiki - Pure awesomeness. This game is one of (if not the best) games of the Wii.

    The Simpsons Question

From "who shot Mr. Burns part 1" - my 2nd favourite Simpsons episode. Smithers: But sir, every plant and tree will die! Owls will deafness with insesant hooting! The Town's sundial will be usless!!" And shortly after that: Burns: Take that Bowl-a-Rama! Taken that convience smart! Take that Nuclear Power... oh fiddlesticks."

    Grindhouse

So let me understand what you're trying to say... Tarantino deserves credit for making a bad movie on purpose but you think it's better than Jackie Brown (which you said was OK, meaning better than bad) because of its shorter and has over-stylized dialogue? I don't know what you mean by "attention to detail editing". Is it the car crash being shown at different angles? Give credit where credit is due, he went through every frame of film and physically put the scrathes on them to make them love authentic. He didn't pussy out and digitally put them on, he had enough passion in his product to slave through each frame to make them look like they cam straight out of a low budget 70s flick. Attention to detail editing sort of falls into that same catagory, each "fuck-up" edit in that film is purposfully put there in that place so it would fit within the theme of the film. Jackie Brown does have a plot and point granted, but it takes too long to get to said point. And saying the film has a "steady pace" is pretty ridiculous. Jackie Brown is (much like all other Tarantino joints) is scene after scene of people talking and takes forever to get the point. Now if Death Proof had been 2 hours and 30 minutes then I could see your point, but it's not. It's (meant to be) a 45 minute short. I can't quite understand the "bad acting" aspect of the film comments you've made. In your orginal post you said that Rosario Dawson was one of the better chicks, if you ask me she was probably one of the worst. But I'm not really a fan of Dawson outside of Josie and The Pussycats. I also agree with Jingus that Stuntman Mike was an awesome badguy. You just have to look at the scene where he kills Rose McGowan to see how insanly cool he is. "Well thats too bad. You see, you had a 50-50 chance of going the same way as me cause I'm going left and you want to go right. Now if you were going left, it would have been a while before you got scared. Now I'm afraid, you're going to have to get scared a lot sooner." Thanks

QFT. Kristianna's not to bad either, I think the fact that she rarely posts is part of why she's not annoying.
