I finally saw Order of The Phoenix last night and I was really underwhelmed by it. It seemed such a let down after the awesome 3rd and 4th films. It's almost as if nothing happened in the film. Granted I've never read the book, and my old man assures me they missed out a bunch of stuff, including explaining about the actual Order of The Pheonix.

My all time favourite episode of The Simpsons is the one where Homer starts to get feelings for Mindy at work. Every line in that episode is hillarious. "AH! I mean, AHello!" Lisa: "It sounded like you were singing about a girl named Mindy, or a man named Mandy" Homer's Brain: "Quick, think of something" Homer: "I've got a small part in a broadway musical, it's not much but it's a start" Homer's Brain: "Bravo. clap. clap. clap."

Overrated in what sense? It's not my number one favourite, but it is a pretty revolutionary piece of animation for it's time. I think the story just has this very epic feel to it, and the acting (Japanese) is just top-notch when it comes to voiceover work, it actually rivals a lot of live action performances. Plus, tons of people have cited it as their inspiration for other works that were hugely successful (movies, books, etc). The storyline is pretty epic, but thats because it's something stupid like 15 years worth of manga wrapped up into one movie. I've watched it once (after being told how great it is) and have no desire to watch it again. I just don't think it's as good as a lot of people make it out to be. But I will agree that the animation is top notch. As for Sin City, I'd actually say it's one of the better comic book movies as it sticks so closely to the source material.

I haven't loved a Mario Party game since MP4, but I have enjoyed them.

I bought and watched Death Proof yesterday. Strangly, I enjoyed it more second time round and even weirder, was that I didn't get annoyed by Quentin's on screen apperance.
