I don't consider myself to be a Cena fan at all, but there's no denying the guy has improved in recent months, and the program with ECW has definately helped. HTQ has given you statistical proof that while there may be other contributing factors, Cena draws viewers. If you're denying that then you're ignoring the facts. Just because you don't like his character doesn't mean that he doesn't draw. The biggest problem is simply that Cena held the title for too damn long and started stagnating. To put it back on him without giving a run to either Edge or Triple H after RVD drops it would be harmful to all involved. Cena is a main eventer whether you personally like him or not, and he's going to be carrying the company in future years along with guys like Edge, Lashley and Kennedy.

These types of arguments are stupid. Sure maybe he'd have trouble against someone like the fucking Big Show but Randy Orton is a big guy and I don't think there's any kind of problem with his credibility in that area, particularly when you're talking about him fighting retired guys.

I don't know about that, normally when I watch a Cena match, Cena is normally getting beaten on in the ring then all of a sudden he has someone set up for the FU. I have noticed this ever since his match at Wrestlemania 21 against JBL. Doesn't happen all the time but a good amount of time. I notice that as well a lot of the time. I prefer watching Randy Orton, I just wish the dude would cut back on the fucking chinlocks.

I brought up the possibility of a fast count in another thread and I don't really see another way to finish the match that makes sense and provides both guys with some degree of protection. Maybe make Edge the special guest referee and have him screw RVD and then attack Cena after the bell.

Supposedly Triple H nixed the plans for a program with Edge a week or two ago in favour of working with Orton instead. The plan was for Cena and Edge to feud at least over summer. But things seem to be changing all the time.

I don't care what else is on this show, just as long as Cena doesn't get the title back.

The crowd wasn't really interested in anything except Flair, and after he bladed and bled like crazy they were well and truly dead for the rest of the night.

You hit the nail pretty much on the head. After the DX Spirit Squad match when they had I think it was Mitch in the ring, I thought for a second he was going to turn face but instead they stuck his face up Hunter's ass. Johnny's karate thing was hilarious. The image of him putting that headband on with blood pouring out his nose after Kenny was checking on him and Mikey was calling time out was great. The 3 way match was good and it wasn't like a bad X-Division match at all. Edge should have walked out with the title after a fast ref count or something though. The title match should have main evented as well. At the very least it should have come after Cena/Sabu.

It was mixed. Could have been a lot better but a couple of matches saved it from being a train wreck.

Did it seem that Sabu landed really awkwardly on that table to anyone else? His lower back just sheared the end of the table off and smacked into the floor.

Foley vs Flair was pretty bad.

I hope they don't put the WWE title back on Cena on Raw after putting RVD over Edge. Raw needs its title back but a heel should hold it so Cena can chase.

Disappointing, this card could have made some really fantastic matches.

Well the IC title triple threat was good, and so was Edge vs RVD except for the result. The last match was alright, but nothing that couldn't have been on Raw. The rest was forgettable or garbage. The crowd was dead too which didn't help things.

The triple threat match and Edge/RVD were good, the rest not so good. Still Cena/Sabu and DX/SS to come so it might turn around.
