They just showed it on the evening news over here, and had a video clip from an interview with the sheriff. He definately said that Chris was found in the weight room and that Daniel was in his bedroom.
-
You're not wrong about that, sir.
-
Honestly I don't appreciate the jokes so soon either.

Err, the problem with running them as normal I mean.

The problem with canceling ECW and SmackDown is that you potentially put the workers at risk. Especially guys like Edge who are critical to their respective brands and obviously affected by the deaths. How do you successfully run a show coming right off a PPV where the world title was defended, without the champion? Obviously you can make participation voluntary, but there's going to be an unhappy crowd and when viewers realise that the majority of the storylines aren't going anywhere, they won't stick around to watch boring matches with people they don't care about.

I feel really bad for all the really young kids who don't know that wrestling is fake, think that Mr. McMahon was blown up a couple weeks ago, and have Chris Benoit as a favourite wrestler and hero. How the fuck is anybody going to be able to explain all this to them?
-
I'll second the person that said the only thing that separates everyone else is control. Now obviously not knowing anything about Benoit's personal life and even , if any, psychiatric history, I really have to wonder if a 'Roid rage or 'roid related psychosis/depression played any part of this. I was wondering the same thing about roids for the past half an hour or so. It was also the first thing that my dad suggested when I sent him an email.

Why is that? He was good worker, is that why? He always shown a hot temper and while JBL played it off as cute, Benoit has a history of a short fuse. The LAST person I'd suspect would be Spike Dudley. He's just always seemed like a guy that despite having a temper, the most important thing to him was his loved ones. At least he seemed that way to me anyway. No offense, but who do people with tempers tend to take their aggressions out on? Benoit was on the road away from them 300 days a year. And besides, people can have tempers or short fuses without having a meltdown and murdering their wife and son. It's all meaningless anyway, as someone else said, anybody is capable of just about anything.

Of all the pro wrestlers in the world, Chris Benoit would have to be one of the LAST that anybody would expect to be capable of something like this. Just goes to show you what anyone is capable of.

The other shows will probably have tribute matches like after Eddie died. -

God, I wish I could be watching these tributes but Raw doesn't come on the air until tomorrow over here. -

I just found out about this and I don't know what to say or even how to feel. As far as I'm concerned, Benoit was the very best. Its just tragic about his wife and son. However it happened, I hope that they didn't suffer. RIP. -
Oh, I forgot about 300. 300 is the best I've seen, then Hot Fuzz. Seeing Knocked Up in a couple weeks.
-
Hot Fuzz is the best I've seen so far.

Man, I'm really missing The Office already. Been watching season 2 with dvd commentaries and season 3 episodes for the past few days. Seems like September is never gonna come around.

If you like film noir and Elseworlds stuff, then Batman: Thrillkiller is a short, fun read.

I think 'holy fuck' comes about as close as possible to describing it in words.
-
The angle that his knee/ankle twisted at when he just crumpled to the mat...sweet lord.
-
Holy FUCK!

They're supposedly on the card for UFC 73. Here.

Watching it with my friends we were just like "oh, GSP slipped...wait...wha-holy...holy shit he's fucked". Probably the most unexpected thing I've ever seen in a fight. But yeah, absolutely respect to Serra, he did amazingly well to pounce at the first hint of weakness and finish the fight. Sanchez/Kos was a piece of shit, enough said. The LW fight was fantastic and made up for it though.
-
Holy shit. Serra with the upset.

I love this show and I loved the finale - trial, song, Starbuck and all.
