I was reading some feedback on Meltzer's site and apparently the WWE should never do an outdoor event again since it made the crowd seem minimal. Maybe it was just me, but I thought the crowd was fantastic all night and they throughly enjoyed the atmopshpere. I'll admit having a WrestleMania in the Spring Time in Florida was a Gutsy decision, but It worked out in the end and the WWE got what it hoped for. The only match I was disappointed with was Batista/Umaga. I don't know how you can say the Bunny match was the worst because it obviously was meant to be a crowd cool downer and the crowed still enjoyed the Snoop/Santino interaction even w/ the power outage.

How anyone could say this 'Mania wasnt at least decent is beyond me. Must have been expecting 7 5-star matches.

I pretty much agree w/ Hawk except for the Main Event part. I didnt think it was a typical Taker match. Edge kicked out of the Chokeslam, Last Ride, and Tombstone! I knew the streak wasnt gonna end but as I got caught up in the match I honestly thought Edge would pull it out. Edge comes out looking great

I seem to remember when I was watching as a was kid that they would announce he hailed from the Polynesian Islands. Like they simply stated he was a Sumo champion, not necessarily that he was Japanese.

I never understood why guys like Meltzer question the Legitimatcy or importance of the WWF/E Hall of Fame. You can tell every year that this is one of the happiest moments of these folks lives. Bret Hart, Tony Atlas, Dusty Rhodes, etc.

I tell you what, If I can find a WrestleMania stream like this tomorrow...I'll be a Happy Camper.

I always thought the best build was for Sting/Hogan @ Starrcade 97. Of Course it came off awful and probably should have been booked differently, but that build was probably the best slow burn build that i can think of. It was almost 2 years wasnt it?

Actually, I'm sure Jeff Hardy is the only wrestler who is left that can still win the Grand Slam under it's original definition(since the European Title is no longer around) if he ever wins the WWE Title. Also, Im sure you can replace the WCW Belts w/ their WWF/E counterparts as substitutes. Like the U.S. Title could sub for the IC Title, The WWE Tag Belts(WCW) could sub for World Tag Team(WWF/E), World Heavyweight for WWE Title
