No matter what people think, or even what people want to think, everyone has to realize that no matter what, ECW IS WWE. Exactly... and I give them props for trying something different but this whole ECW thing is a mess. I like how the people they've announced as appearing at the PPV so far are as follows: John Cena- WWE guy RVD- WWE guy Kurt Angle- WWE guy Randy Orton- WWE guy Tazz- WWE guy Jerry Lawler- WWE guy Edge- WWE guy Mick Foley- WWE guy Tommy Dreamer- WWE guy Terry Funk- associated with ECW, sure, but the appeal here is more his coming out of retirement and the Foley/Funk history rather than the fact that he was really an ECW fixture Rey Mysterio- WWE guy Sabu- the only non-WWE guy to be seen So basically this whole ECW thing boils down to "well, we signed Sabu." I don't understand how this idea is supposed to succeed. The "new" ECW is a bunch of people we've seen on WWE programming for years, and a bunch of scrubs no one in their right mind has ever cared about in the first place (Balls Mahoney? Sandman? Really?). I can't believe they're going through with this ridiculous idea. ...and yet you continue to watch the WWE / ECW special... interesting.

Hey, does anyone know how to fix the problem with CoD2 freezing when trying to load either the last mission block for the Russians or the 2nd part of the El Alamein block for the British? I've DLed the patch that came out the first time I got on live (last Saturday) but it still just sits there on the load screen. Any help would be appreciated.

The US Government needs to grow balls and take down the WWE for anti-trust laws so that N. America fans can have decent wrestling shows. It works for Japan, Mexico and else-where, why not here?

Its not because he uses the dominator... Lashley doesn't give me the Brock vibe because I don't think anyone will come along that's his build and be as athletic as him. The Farooq/Ahmed comes from how he's a fuckin brick house (Ahmed) but you can see he's got a brawler side that blends with some great wrestling skills (Ron Johnson) I think if they build him up like they did a Farooq or Ahmed, he'll be set. He's got the US belt, which is great...but I'd love to see him go up against Kurt or another technical wrestler (maybe Benoit?) Hopfully he can stay healthy and become an even bigger cog of SD!...

He's the WWE's clone of the two... Honestly, I like the big sum'bitch and am fuckin glad he's got a title 'round his waist now. Now hopfully, he won't become a beer swilling drunk, or showing up in pink crushed velvet jumpsuits

On topic: It makes sense for WWE not to do ECW since well, the two are "seperate" or whatever they're trying to pull off. Question is: If RVD and others jump to ECW, how does that affect the season and how badly will it fuck up the scoring for this go-round?

This rocks... I thought of buying the whole SS, but I thought AAE and some others would've had bigger impacts. Smackdown... well, I only picked up Lashley, so maybe he'll help out and have a monster showing.

I wouldn't mind the play thru the pain, it'd make it a more risk/reward type move... sure, you could play thru a sprained ankle, but one false move and you've just lost your star HB for half the season. I'm interested in how the "new" Texas playbook will effect people this year, seeing as it was basically created around Vince's legs and now people will have to use Colt...

Hey, I know this is a random comment, but... I was watching my gf's old ECW tapes the other night, and I was just wondering if anyone had a list of most of the music used by ECW back at that time? Its hard to hear most of the shit on the tapes and aside from the obvious of Sandman, Raven.. Dudley's, Dreamer.. I wanted to know if anyone here had a list of the songs used so I could DL 'em..

Todd Grisham is a street beggar's Joey Styles... My g/f, myself and my roomie all fuckin cracked up when Todd was out there... its like they replaced Joey with the clone of him they got to try and win over people. That, or cloning is infact a harsh reality as we have now all seen what happens when you clone Joey Styles with Todd Pettingil.

I remember being amazed when I heard that. I wanted to make all these guys in the Wolfpac, so I had like Meng and Davey Boy Smith wearing Red and Black nWo shirts... yikes... I changed Hogan's attire back to his classic red and yellow and put in Goldberg as the new "leader" of nWo black and white. Beat that for 'dorkish'. I think I can. My friends and I took Revenge and then later No Mercy and would create our own guys or just edit the wrestlers and create the tournaments with 16 people. Put it all on cpu/cpu then began to record it all on the VCR. After it was all said and done, we'd rewind and do actual play by play during the matches.
