I like that one too. I think I can get away with it cause I'm a girl. I don't really see a guy being too comfortable with it, it's kind of........gay for a Christmas song.

It would have to be really good to live up to the original. I don't really like too many Christmas songs. I get sick of them like a week in to December. Anything orchestral though I can tolerate, but I hate hearing the same songs over and over again. Bowie & Crosby is still one of my favorites.

I want money. Or gift cards, although those aren't always the best.....you're stuck with just the one store.......but I'd rather just be able to go buy my own things instead of people buying me things that I won't like or will have to return. Unless I'm really close to the person, so I can personalize their gift, I usually give people gift cards too.

That's basically what I've done. And he even said that it wouldn't be for more than a year. There's still a big window where we can change our minds. I see. NYT article from today's paper. It offers a little more info on the story. One relevant part: Which if true, it does give the cops a reason to be suspicious. The police version of the story seems to be this: The news article gives an interesting point, a former cop says that in a situation like that if one cop starts firing at someone, the other cops just automatically react and assume that the first cop had reason to shoot, so they will shooting as well. The facts are still fuzzy here but this may have been a situation where one cop got freaked and started firing, and the rest automatically assumed that the first cop had good reason to fire and joined in. I heard from somewhere that some of the victims may have had criminal records but I don't know if that's just a rumor or not.

The ending of the Taker and Kennedy match does not really sound that good. I would have liked for them to put over Kennedy strong if he was going to win. He seems like the future of Smackdown right now.

Take it back. Return to Oz was my favorite movie growing up. I was one of the few children that it didn't give nightmares to. Yeah. That was a really creepy movie.

I want to see the Bond movie. No one I know wants to go see it with me, but I like Daniel Craig a lot. He's always been good in the films I've seen him in. I guess parents are taking their kiddies to see the penguin movie. I thought it looked stupid.....I love penguins, I just can't take any more animated movies with Robin Williams acting like an ass.

All Superjerk is saying is that the police had a genuine reason to be suspicious of this person(s) to begin with. No one is disputing that the cops really screwed up awfully here. But this isn't a clear cut and dry case of "oh, they were black, so the cops automatically opened fired on them without reason".

You seem so upset about this. I don't really think there are that many ECW fans left who really care one way or another about who holds the title.

That's what concerns me about Obama. He's a bit the same. I like him the best of potential Democrat candidates but it would maybe be better if he ran in 2012 instead. I don't think he'll win the nomination so he can still run again then (or in 2016 if the Democrats win the White House in 08).

I think war with Iran is maybe unavoidable (a few years in the future). They keep getting crazier and when they get nukes they're going to be even more dangerous. I bet it's just a question of whether we go to war with them ourselves first or whether we go to war with them because they attack Israel or Israel finally gets fed up with Iran funding proxy wars between Israel and the Palestinians / Lebanese / Syrians. Wait, that's a separate argument. I guess I think John Edwards sucks too. I didn't like him as part of the party ticket in 04.

I sort of agree with Jerk. I think the police had reason to be suspicious of these people based on the circumstances. I don't think it was just "oh, a black guy, I sure hope he gives me a reason to shoot him". But they did really overreact. This is like Diallo over again.

I can't vote for him then. I want someone who will at least consider war with a dangerous country like Iran if it comes to it. 2008 is going to suck. The only Democrat I like is Obama but he isn't too experienced.
