  1. I met Lesnar on the streets of Seattle before WMXIX, and he is every bit of 295.

    Help Goldust Keep His Job!

I assume that they are dropping the "I Know What You Did" angle with Booker, right? Or will that end up being Lawler trying one last effort to ram Booker's past down our throats?
  3. I think Stone Cold should be a heel at this point. I was sooooooo hoping that he would go to Smackdown and totally make over his character. Wear suits, no cussing, no beer. I think the antithesis of the Stone Cold character would be such a 180 that it would work for him. And that is about the only way you could effectively turn Stone Cold heel with the marks. You know, since giving the Stunner to a frail girl that won't drink beer with him doesn't turn the fans off.

    Randy Orton

I'm a huge fan of Orton, and I don't expect relative newcomers to the wrestling scene to reach god-like status early. It's simply a different generation, and I think that is a bad thing. Gone are the days of guys having a couple years or more working in territories, touring Japan, Mexico, and then starting there WW(F) careers as wrestlers with good ring presence and knowledge. These days, I think wrestlers have it a tad easier if they have a good look. WWE thinks they can add a little wrestling along the way and it will work. Orton has not held a single title in his WWE career. I don't think he has been pushed down my throat. I think he has a good gimmick, but I do agree that he should win a few of those matches a little more convincingly once in awhile. My prediction is that he'll slowly start winning more convincingly now that he is being elevated to IC status. And realistically, Orton is just now being elevated to the level where Christian, RVD, and Booker T are. RVD and Booker are constantly said to be pushed down further on the card than where they should be. Doesn't this show you that Orton is not placed all that high? It does to me.

    Greatest Promo Ever

Not that those Jericho/Rock promos weren't gold, but this is the best one I have on my comp: ***Rock and Jericho one-upping each other (not exactly verbatim....please forgive)*** Rock: "...and it doesn't matter who tries to get in my way. Be it Chris Jericho, Chris Jericho's *daddy!*, Chris Jericho's *momma!*, Uncle Joe Jericho with the glass eye, or Grandpa Jimmy-Jack Jericho with the iron lung! Or hell, maybe it's Grandma Jezebel Jericho....with the double X 30 PANTIES! It doesn't matter. You bring 'em all! We'll have one big family reunion, so the Rock can Layeth the Smacketh Down on AAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL their candy asses!" This is the backstage promo where Jericho was cutting Rock off, Rock was cutting Jericho off, and they wre using each other's catchphrases. If anyone has the verbatim promo, please post it. I'm too lazy to transcribe it from my video.
  6. Uh, I'm not seeing the pics. Is there a link available? Thanks.

    Nidia gets a boob job..

A couple of things......... Trish got implants. A friend of mine at work goes to the Arnold Classis every year, and he has some older pics of Trish when she was very flat in the chest. She otherwise looks the same in the face and ass. Not saying she didn't have any work done to her face prior to that, but doesn't look like she's had any since. AND, I think you are all assuming that "Enhancement surgery," as it was reported, automatically means breast implants or augmentation. It could have been a nose job, or something to do with the face. And think about it......she was sprayed in the face with the mist. Might be explained that way.

    the jericho/trish angle

My blood pressure dropped back down to normal after he left. The dude got what he wanted, though. He had this way about him that made you want to make him see the light. I'm sure he was just looking for an argument.
  9. If anyone wants to move this to fantasy, so be it. I see things on her that have ideas from time to time, so please let it stay here if at all possible. I tried reading all of the pages in the thread about Jericho and Trish, and wanted to respond and add some things, but it was already 12 pages long when I started reading it, and more posts were coming in while I was trying to follow it. Soooooo, here are a few certain things I think would work. I think it fits with the competition thing, simple feuds based on WRESTLING, and maybe s little drama, since you know that wrestling matches don't provide drama. Fans in the arena and watching at home all, sigh or cheer at near falls because Jericho almost killed Lucy the dog, not because the match has them on the edge of their seats. And if viewer's don't buy the PPV's for the matches, why the hell do they run basically all matches on PPV's, and use matches to decide feuds. Because it is WRESTLING............ Idea #1---Two wrestlers talk to each other about how they have never held the World Heavyweight Championship, and they are getting on in their careers. They decide they will set out to achieve this. Both are hell-bent on getting the Title, and trying to get their shot at it. They both tear through the competition with renewed vigor, and basically are competing against each other along the way, as they see who will accomplish it first. I would pick Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit for this. They can handle the wrestling parts very well, have held just about every title imaginable except for the big one, and are veteran wrestlers. Smarks and marks alike have wanted Benoit to be on top for years, and Eddie is gaining unbelievable momentum. You could have this angle stretch out for several months, and end several ways. They fight for the number one contendership, and the loser of that tries to cost the other guy to lose in the title match; OR One guy ends up winning the title and the other guy turns on him due to jealousy, or they trade the title as faces once each after one inititially wins the title. The outcome would depend on how the crowd reacts to the angle, and who has more support. I realized this was WAY long while I was writing it, so I will put another idea up after this post.

    Holy Shee-AT

Unless it was faked a long time ago, that is really what he looked like. I saw this pic last year, I believe. Definitely before he debuted on Raw.

    My ideas for creative......

I have only seen TNA a couple of times. I am not very familiar with how the AJ Styles/D'Lo feud went. I saw the 2/3 falls matches, but have no knowledge of how the feud began. And robvandam420, I know that there is nothing that is going to convince you otherwise, but just for my own sanity, please understand that storylines can and are built from simple mathups. You don't have to have a necrophiliac pedophile hooker to have a storyline. I understand that there is a mix of wrestling and storylines. I grasp that very well, as I am not amphibian shit. However, even you have to agree that today's WWE is struggling at such a point that whatever fans are left need to be kept happy. And if what they are doing is turning off diehard fans and not attracting new viewers, don't you think they should try something else? Take it from someone who owns/runs their own business. If business is stagnant or on the decline, you don't want to keep doing what you are doing and hope it rides out. You want to go with what makes you money. Simply put, the WWE's infamous storylines that they are running to grab all these viewers is running the company into the ground. A company that most of us grew up on and want to see it succeed. You're not Vince McMahon by any chance are you? Because you are about as stubborn.

    My ideas for creative......

Oh, I agree with you about Cena. And I'm not a mindless sheep. I have been a member her for a LOOOOOONG time and rarely post. I disagree with people on here all the time, I just don't post it. And your reference to things of the past.........everything is cyclical. However, you already stated that the company has returned to Crash TV and the Russo Era because it has proven to work in the past. If they switched over to an emphasis on wrestling in the year 2000, then why did they "go back to the past" to the Russo era. I hope you are just arguing for the sake of arguing, because you contradict yourself too much for anyone to take your good points seriously. It's like you change every statement to mold you into an argument in whatever is being discussed. Example--- you say the Russo era is better than a good blowjob you say that switching to the "wrestling emphasis" of 2000 was a mistake, even though it provided the most recent peak in ratings and the bottom line You say that things from the past do not work, and we are all stuck in the past Russo's era is in the past Hmmmm................... Please stop trying to ruin our board. It's not that you are spouting a different opinion; it's that you are not accepting anyone else's ideas. If you want to rock the boat, rock the boat. But please don't tell me 2+2=5. Simply look at what is provided to you. If you are wrong, move on. If you want to argue just to get an erection, please go elsewhere.

    Not again

Upon first glimpse of this last night, I immediately thought that Heyman's plan for Benoit/Angle was incomplete as he was suddenly dropped from the creative team. I figured that he might have gotten some creative back and wanted to finish it to bring Benoit up a little. I wouldn't look for this to last a long time, just bring Benoit up to ME like someone said, and put on a hell of a match. Don't look for any heel turns or anything. This might play a big part in the rumored SD Survivor match as well.

    Two Rumored 'Mania XX Matches

I think Taker should retire at a Survivor Series. Not this year's SS, but a Survivor Series, so it could end where it started. It would be nice to see him go back to being the deadman one last time, too, orginal music and all.
  15. They are both professional wrestlers
  16. I hate to sound skeptical, but you might have been ripped off. I figure a lot of people print off the tickets through e-mail, and sell them several times for a huge profit.

HHH Gone Until The Royal Rumble!

Can't wait until Stephanie loses the "I Quit" match so she and Triple H will be off for a while. I could handle Stephanie as Triple H's wife/manager again, but only IF she didn't try to hog the spotlight. Of course, we know that won't happen.

    ~The Hate Game~

Biggest thing in-ring wise that has changed for Triple H is his speed and selling. These have turned his matches from exciting, due to his selling of TAKA's offense and stuff like that, to him becoming more methodicaland and going with a power offense. His character is good, and I think his interviews are the same or better. However, if he doesn't drop 25 lbs to get back to his 2000 Rumble shape, he might as well get ready to be a cripple the rest of his life.

    TSM Wrestlemania XX Meet

I'd be interested in meeting everyone for some beers and food.
  20. Dames, you better not be holding up a lot of signs that will block my view since I'll be two seats behind you.
  21. I stand corrected. And has anyone seen the tickets on ebay? One funny auction had a guy that was advertising that wanted tickets in Sections 80-83 preferrably. He was basically doing the opposite of what scalpers do when at games or events when they hold up a "I NEED TICKETS" sign. He set the auction starting price at $0.01 and just put it on there to use ebay as a message board, letting people that were selling tickets, that he wanted those seats. The funny part? Some guy has so far bid up to $10.52, and there are 5 days left on the auction. I guess they'll be paying this guy some money because he wants tickets to Wrestlemania.

    Batman 617

I stick with the thought it should have been Hugo Strange. WOuld have fit very nicely.
  23. Pretty sure that Loge=floor seats
  24. Orton needs to work with someone that can teach him some stuff. Beating a bunch of jobbers isn't necessarily a good step toward becoming a better wrestler. I do think Orton has some good moves, and I like the way he does a lot of them. I do wish he'd work in that wheelbarrow suplex as a set up move, though.
  25. This isn't as much offensive as an idea I'd like to see. Have the ring encased by an apron high steel floor like in the Elimination Chamber. The steel floor would be five feet in width all around the ring. Attached to that would be a cage with no roof. It would be pinfall, submission, or TKO. This could allow for some neat spots near the ropes, and something I'd personally love to see would be maybe Benoit jumping from the cage, over the turnbuckles or ropes into a headbutt into the ring.
