I don't pay anything. The theatre near me is in the mall and is notorious for crying kids, cell phones, and teenagers, so I just stay home and watch DVD's. Prices are too high, anyway.

All I can say is THANK GOD IT'S NOT THE HALF-ASSTROS. Woooooo! ZERO hits for Houston after the fourth inning? Choke.
-
Wrong thread, dude. Doesn't reduce the awesomeness of Rolen's blast, however.
-
Do they? I thought Johnson's salary was already built into their budget for next season.
-
The image of A-Rod crying and all the ignorant Yankee fans with their faces in the hands makes that series the winner for me. That and my largely indifferent attitude towards the NBA.

Two things: 1. What about Fox and CBS? They get stuck with shitty games all the time. Why can't they have some flexible scheduling, too? 2. The blame lies (mostly) with the NFL. If they weren't so insistent on littering their league with parity, ABC might actually get some better games. The up-and-down nature of the league makes it impossible to consistently schedule quality games each week.

This one is ALL on Phil "Genius" Garner. Oswalt should have been in the game, period. The only way he doesn't come in is if he couldn't get loose or something. EDIT: Oh, and double-switching out your second hottest hitter? Genius, indeed.

Dude, Jerry Rice has very little trade value. He's been totally washed up for two years. Any team that would give up more than one very low draft pick for him is fucking nuts.
-
Zero, because the Astros are not in a must-win situation today. Neither Oswalt or Clemens will pitch today in any capacity. Backe would be a possibility however.
-
Not only that, but would the Astros really want to have to rely on Oswalt in a game 7 if his arm is as tired as he indicates it might be? He didn't pitch well at all in game 4 on full rest...could they expect him to pitch well now on short rest? Munro is the right choice for game 6.
-
Parity carries the day.
-
What about Clemens? He threw 116 pitches today...how much would he have left for a game 6 on three days' rest?
-
I'm gonna have to see some naked pictures of Sue Bird before I can agree with you on that. You know, to make a totally fair (and unbiased) judgment.

The people that provided the false information that the "main reason" was based on.

It's cuz Anglesault doesn't have anything to flip out over yet.

Who's being shallow, bitch? That kkk Bowl II trophy would look great in your room, and it sounds like you need some decorating material. There's a trophy? Wow! Looks like it's time for me to get serious with my picks.
-
The good news is that if the Astros get to pitch Clemens/Oswalt twice in the next series, it should again be on short rest. Maybe the Cards' bats can actually do something with that.
-
As a Cubs fan, I have no idea who to pull for in the NLCS. Cardinals, I guess...but it just feels so wrong.
-
Well, the only way this night gets any worse is if the Packers lose and take the $10 I put on that game with them. ... FUCK!
-
I think Oswalt is gassed. MIDDLE RELIEF TIME, BABY!
-
The Braves are killing me. Just when I think they're out of it, they get right back in it.
-
Weird. I live in Houston, and just about all the sportswriters and talk show hosts here are picking UT for the upset. Of course, 70% of them went to UT... Personally, I'm taking OU for the simple reason that until UT proves they can win this game, I don't see how they can be picked. Sooners win, 31-20.

MusicMatch Jukebox has a converter that can be used to reduce the bitrate. Works pretty well, and I think it's included in the free version of the software.
-
Astros might be in a bit of trouble now, as their pitching drops off rather dramatically for at least game 3. I can't see Clemens going on Sunday (unless it's to save the season) after the way he extended himself yesterday. Fuck, what a shot. FURCAL~!

Walton & Johnson own Stern's ass, but I don't think anyone outside of the Gulf South can hear them.
