I'll be at the Saturday show. Can't wait. I just look at the $10,000 match as some sort of homage to DragonGate. I hope that Aries will be a captain. Havent seen him in a ring since 5YF NYC. Been a looooong time. Also, I wouldnt mind Hero vs Claudio at the finals. While Hero can already be considered a top guy in the company, Claudio hasnt been doing anything of note after the KOW split up at Final Battle 06. Everybody assumed the feud between Hero and Double C would start during and after Battle Of The Icons, when they were involved in that 3 way with Daniels. Nothing really came of it. This can be his shot to go up in the ranks. At the same time, newer mainstays like Albright, Cross, or Stevens can benefit too and maybe even better than Castagnoli. I would love it if Quack won but that's not going to happen. Whatever happens, it's going to be good. I don't doubt that.

I ordered it last night. Even though I saw it last week, it felt right to support them. I'll never get tired of that Briscoes vs Castagnoli/Sydal match and I don't even like Sydal. I really wish they would have shown the 4 team tag match from that night. It was so much fun. Oh well, DVD is coming out next month and I'll end up buying it anyway.

When I used to live in Brooklyn, Homicide's old school, The LIWF Doghouse was up the block...maybe a 5 minute walk. I would go see their shows every Saturday night for 6 bucks and although it was never too horrible, they certainly had a bunch of shitty workers like some fat ass priests and Freddy Van Halen or something like that. A lot of JAPW wrestlers worked there and really, JAPW pretty much sucks. The worst show they ever put on was when Low Ki got beat by J Train (Julius Smokes) CLEAN. Now, this was 7 years ago when Low Ki wasnt as well known, but still, people were just flipping out at the fact that someone as talented as Ki jobbed out to an elbow drop (not from the turnbuckle) There were a couple of CZW scouts there that night and they just shook their heads at the finish. That same night my friends little brother (8 years old at the time) got hit in the face HARD with a suitcase by Dan Maff. They didnt even offer to give the kid a refund and he had a huge lump on his head after. Later that night Jay Lover won the main title. He either beat Homicide or Low Life Louie. That match fucking SUCKED and Jay Lover is the worst ever. The most horrendous part of the show was the live play by play by some asshole Michael Cole lookalike but this dude was 10 times more of a puss.

Damn that sucks. One half of one of my all time favorite tag teams is gone. Kronus was in such bad shape for those Hardcore Homecoming shows but he was still able to do some of his agile moves and that was kinda cool to see.

I'm torn between getting a Wii or a 360 but since I can't find the Wii anywhere, I'm probably just going to get the Box soon. I really don't know much about gadgetry and I just want to play some good games. Is the cheap Core package worth it? Can I play Xbox Live with it? I've heard so many different things and I don't really know what to believe. Also it does not help that people explain the differences in a tech language I don't understand. I just want to know if I should get the 250 or 350 model (if the price cut is true). Basically, I want to be able to play with some friends of mine and some uncles that I don't get to see anymore but I don't really wanna rush out and buy the system yet because I don't know shit. I want to be able to go online, but my router is in the basement and my room is in the second floor and I'm not sure how that's going to work. Can someone offer some advice? I know there's an Xbox 360 thread but I couldnt really find a clear answer there. Also, I want to know if I should just wait until I find a Wii.

Yeah. Thanks. I remember feeling like absolute shit on the night of this show and it really made it hard for me to enjoy it but i like it a lot as I am watching it now. I kinda feel bad not ordering the ppv but I dont think it's available for me yet and I'll buy the DVD anyway. I really like the production of this. I'm up to Sydal/Castagnoli vs The Briscoes. I was too sick to pay full attention to this match live, but everybody around me was just raving about it so maybe now I can focus and see what the big deal is about. Exciting! Thanks again

Really? I never really got into their albums but I saw them at the Curiosa festival like 3 years ago and was very impressed with their live show, especially with Geoff. They were fun to watch.

Thanks guys. I have always stayed away from Star Wars Lego games but 15 bucks? Why not. I love Star Wars. Also, Portrait Of Ruin is pretty damn good. My only complaint is the repetitive level designs. I kinda regret beating it so quickly though, but then again, I'll get my fix again with Dawn Of Sorrow. I can see myself getting all those games to be honest so I really appreciate it. Phoenix Wright 1 or 2?

So I just got a DS a little under a month ago and was wondering if anyone else here who has it can suggest some games for me to get? I want to be kept busy on my 2 hour daily commute to school and 2 hour commute back when the semester starts. Lately I've just been stocking on games, since they are pretty cheap and I also got a bunch for free. I already have Mario Bros, Mario Hoops, Castlevania POR, FF 3, Trauma Center, Metroid, Resident Evil, Kirby, Star Wars Ep 3, Elite Beat Agents, Yoshi Story, Pokemon Pearl and some Sonic game.

So people can buy the DVD's which is probably a much bigger priority in terms of making money.

I dont know. I think a lot of stores in NYC won't sell you an M game even if you're 17. I remember buying an Onimusha game when I was that age and the clerk said the suggested 17 and up rating did not matter. I needed to be 18 at the time. I argued for a good few minutes and the bitch just gave up and sold it to me anyway though. I'm not sure how AO will work in these stores. 19 and up maybe? It'd be ridiculous if it's some 21 and up kinda deal.

Damn that's pretty crazy. This game must be really fucked up to warrant this rating. Manhunt 1 was insane. I should buy it. I rented it when it came out, got to the last boss and had to return it. If the rating goes back to an M for a Wii release, then this is just another reason for me to get one. I wonder how well it could work for it. I'm not too bummed if it stays AO though. Even if it won't be as easy to find, I'd still be able to get one and would just play it on my PS2. No big deal.

I remember thinking I had beaten the game at the 10 or 15 hour mark then realizing I had a whole new adventure waiting ahead of me. It was a great feeling. Amazing game. One of the best ever. I wish I had a better tv to play it on though.

Yeah. It sucks. I remember after ROH Fighting Spirit, people were handing out JAPW flyers after the show with Samoa Joe vs Low Ki as the headline. It just got me pissed seeing Joe was going to be in town for another indy promotion but he couldnt be there that night in ROH because of TNA. It's bullshit. I was supposed to go to a JAPW show tomorrow to see Joe vs Eddie Kingston but work prevents me from going which blows. I'll miss Joe.

I'm tempted to buy this. I was going to get an Xbox 360 but I'm not really sure if I want to blow 500+ dollars on a system and some games. I want a new game but I don't want to be flat broke, so it looks like Tomb Raider it is. Also, I know I'll be able to beat this game without any cheats this time around.

Oh man. I wish I could go. Morishima vs Joe was pretty good. It didnt hold up as well on DVD but it was still an exciting bout. A rematch would be cool but Morishima losing twice? Hmm. Whatever, if it happens, it should be a great match.

Yeah, Jacobs is currently my favorite ROH character. I was going to buy ASE3 and SOH2 at the ppv taping but I couldnt afford it so I'm downloading them instead. I keep hearing about the promo and I can't wait to hear it. Also, I'm dying to see the cage match. Right now, I'm up to FYF: Finale and just finished watching the Falls Count Anywhere Match between him and Whitmer. It was incredibly brutal. It REALLY sucks that he won't be wrestling for some time.

I was up since 6 am, took 2 classes, was dying from allergies, sore from work the night before, and was in serious pain from an empty stomach so i didnt enjoy the show as much as i could have but it was still pretty good. i think the mysterious card had everyone with ridiculous high hopes and left a lot of them dissapointed when they got something else. Not sure if they should do this Unscripted type of show anymore but it didnt bother me. The crowd definitely didnt seem as hot as they did for other NYC shows though. I marked the fuck out when Homicide's music started playing. I forgot all about my pain and was all smiles for those 10 minutes. marufuji is the fucking man. main event was damn good..but yeah roddy vs delirious kinda sucked. i fell asleep during that one. a lot of guys had new entrance music...i thought that was kinda weird. anyway i need something to eat and i def need sleep.

I think they might just air their current youtube/rohvideos.com newswire(s) before the event so that new viewers can have an idea of what's going on and the commentators can do the rest.
