I play as Akuma a lot. I guess I'm a bitch then. I haven't run into many Sagat players. But mostly everyone uses Ken and the same strategy. Ken's pretty good though. Although this might sound like a shitty excuse, I use Akuma a lot because when I was a kid, I kept seeing Akuma in magazines and movies, and never had the chance to play as him, yet he looked so bad ass. He looked like the coolest motherfucker ever. I only had SF2 Championship Edition so I was never able to play as him until now, about 15 years after I got SF2. Finally had a match with Dubq. It was a damn close one. Good fight. Probably one of the better ones I've had in a few days.

Yeah, Abel's spinning throw is bullshit. Fuck Zangief too.

I thought it came out today. Oh well. Maybe I'll preorder it and save 5 bucks, but that Toys R Us offer sounds pretty cool too.

I'm doing pretty well online. 100 wins out of 138 fights so far. Only played two ranked matches though, but I won both of them, although I didn't know they were ranked matches until I won and received battle points.

Yeah, seriously, fuck that noise. I just went through SOTN again and had forgotten how annoying those parts were. Also, Street Fighter 4. Fighting Seth on medium or higher, or even on easy if you have a shitty character like Gen, is the absolute worst. The third to last mission on GTA3 drove me insane. I think it was that level where you had to keep answering telephones in different parts of the city before running out of time. The mission after that was also really frustrating. It took me years to actually come back to it and beat the game.

Yeah, I finally unlocked Seth today. Beating the game with Guile and Gen was pretty hard. It took me so many tries to beat Seth with them. I've been pretty good online. Hate when kids disconnect when they are getting their ass kicked though.

The cutscene anime is pretty weak. It doesn't bother me that much though. I've been playing this game nonstop. Just unlocked Akuma and Gouken. I'm gonna try for Seth in a few days.

I think beating the game with specific characters will do it. I unlocked Sakura after beating it with Ryu, then unlocked Dan after beating it with Sakura. Got nobody when I used Ken or Dan.

Man, Seth is fucking CHEAP as fuck. Took me a while to beat him.

Got SF4 and I think it's pretty cool, but damn is the new theme song fucking lame.

It's a fight, not a match. If you listened to Shane he was challenging Orton to a fight, between Randy and himself. Not a match. I think he knew that. His point was how would a non sanctioned fight keep Legacy away from the ring?

You don't suck, it's just really hard. I get destroyed on easy, unless I make the fights only 1 round. A lot of the moves are very hard to pull off too. It makes me think twice about getting SFIV, although I heard it's easier. Fighters just aren't for me I guess. I used to be pretty decent on SF2 as a kid, though.

One thing that bothered me a little is how apparently nobody knew he had a heart attack. When he was asked how he was doing, by that promoter guy with the beard, he said "Hey, I'm great I was out of the hospital in two hours." Now maybe the point was that no one really gives a shit about you, which is why nobody really knew what happened to him, but as someone so respected as Ram is supposed to be, don't you think he'd get visitors, or phone calls? An entire locker room saw the man almost die, and probably knew what hospital he was being sent to or at least had an idea. The only thing waiting for him when he got out was money sent by his promoter. You'd think the promoter would want to know how he was doing, be there for him, etc.

It's a bit like Gauntlet. You have a team and you can switch what character in your team you want to play as using the D-Pad. While, you're playing as one character, the other people in your team back you up. It's an action rpg, pretty much.

Man, I wish that CIMA match was televised.

He's just an annoying guy that somehow gets front row seats to almost any show he attends. He used to always wear Green Lantern shirts, but he stopped for a while. I think he busted out a Green Lantern jersey for The Wrestler just to be recognized on film by smarks and it worked. Now, he usually wears ugly sweats or Bryan Danielson shirts. He goes to shows with a stop watch, times the matches and then posts the match times on message boards for some reason. He's not just limited to ROH though. You can see him in a bunch of East Coast feds. I sat behind him at a Chikara show once. He didn't like that one of my friends cursed, so he turned around and yelled at us "YOU KNOW THIS IS A FAMILY SHOW!". Meanwhile, we were in the ECW Arena, where everybody was being rowdy. His own crew told him to shut up and he sat quiet looking like a crybaby over it for the rest of the night. He's calmed down over the years, but he was a huge dick back in the day, just being loud, condescending, heckling a lot of wrestlers, ruining segments by trying to get himself over, that sort of thing. A shit load of wrestlers and fans would berate him for it, Steve Corino especially. People also think he's a big dork because he supposedly had the audacity to propose to somebody at a fucking RAW in the nineties, and was turned down. There was also a story about wrestlers being super pissed because he showed up at Chris Candido's wake uninvited as if he knew the guy.

I agree with any of Tanaka's finishers as well as with a few already mentioned like the Cradle Piledriver and some others, but I didn't see the double arm piledriver in this thread. Whether it's Kid Kash or Jay Briscoe, that move is awesome. Shiranui's are pretty sweet too. I'm also a sucker for a good Lariat. For double team moves, any of the Briscoe Brothers Double Team finishers.

I wish I could go to this. I went to night 3 last year and had a blast.
