With a marketing campaign this awesome, I would not be surprised at all if it was something completely gay. They need to add the special sauce to marketing for a reason, right? If JJ Abrams wasn't involved...I'd already have written it off.

I think if anyone called Herring Brian Geragthy to his face they might get knocked out worse then the dude who kissed him. I got a little bit of a chubby girl coming over tonight, myself, so I, like Tong, am heavily involved with a bottle of liquor right now.

I actually like Koscheck. But I hope GSP brings his A-game and just annihilates him. The main reason is that I fully expect Hughes to kill Serra and I want to see GSP destroy Hughes again.

This was the best they could do? Seriously?

American Apparel makes some damn fine clothes. I wish threadless still printed their shirts on AA.

I thought he lived in Canada. Oh well.

If your personality, looks, and everything else are so bad that you have to rely on your possessions to get sex, you've got more problems than just finding a good store to shop in. It's not like we're talking about who has the better car or a better TV. What clothes you wear speaks to your personality. And a dude who wears Walmart clothes screams scumbag. And girls know it. You can get clothes just as cheap from much better places. Buying at Walmart shows a complete lack of style and/or effort to look good.

Only in the United States.

Yeah that is a good one. I like Din Thomas. Shogun is debuting at UFC 76 against Lyoto Machida. -
How believable is that... the date is wrong.

The end. If you don't actually work in the fashion industry, there's no reason not to buy plain cheap clothes from Walmart. (Unless you object to the fact that it's made by crippled little kids in sweatshops, and if you do you're a commie phag.) Or you actually want to look good and get laid? I don't know. There are two main reasons I can think of: 1) Clothes from Walmart fall apart fast - because you get what you pay for 2) They are either totally plain and boring or marketed to white trash Also, Old Navy is on the veeeery cheap end of clothing stores. I only really shop there when I don't want to spend a lot of money. If I had the capacity to wear something like that in public I'd pay $38 for it, too. $38 is bad, but I was dumb enough to pay $75 for a f.c.u.k t-shirt in SoHo when I went to NY last year. I'm also currently contemplating buying one of those Affliction t-shirts that all the UFC guys wear but they are $49.

Booing during Sherk vs. Franca was pretty much unacceptable.

The movie is all well and good... but the next weekend is more important. I'm not leaving the house.
-
You're not a good shopper. If I go into Old Navy I can get probably 2 pairs of shorts and 3 shirts for $75. They move good stuff to clearance very fast in there. As to whether it's always been that expensive... it's all relative. I've paid $75 for a single t-shirt before.

The full list of paydays includes: Anderson Silva ($90,000) def. Nate Marquardt ($24,000) Kenny Florian ($16,000) def. Alvin Robinson ($3,000) Tito Ortiz ($210,000) vs. Rashad Evans ($16,000) Sean Sherk ($28,000) def. Hermes Franca ($14,000) Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira ($200,000) def. Heath Herring ($70,000) Stephan Bonnar ($32,000) def. Mike Nickels ($5,000) Jorge Gurgel ($14,000) def. Diego Saraiva ($3,000) Chris Lytle ($20,000) def. Jason Gilliam ($3,000) Frank Edgar ($10,000) def. Mark Bocek ($3,000) Sherk and Silva probably can't wait for their next round of contracts. Tito probably can.

Anderson Silva vs. Rich Franklin and possibly Chuck Lidell vs. Wanderlei Silva. That last one is not very strong, but his rumored return is October and they want him to face Wandy. EDIT: And I just read Tito vs. Rashad 2. It's apparently confirmed. ufcjunkie.com -
I got a kick out of this shirt. I figured some here would too. http://www.threadless.com/product/917/I_Listen_To_Bands

I have never had a single problem with Verizon in almost 6 years. But yeah... I'm switching to AT&T next year. Sucks being an apple fanboy sometimes... -
That was a lot better in HD then the crappy cam movie theater trailer. You can actually hear all the noises... I really hope the guy says, "It's alive and it's huge", and not "It's a lion, and it's huge".

I was mildly pissed after Hanley didn't make the All-Star team, but did you know that he's currently 3rd in the entire MLB (behind A-Rod and Magglio Ordonez only) in VORP at 45.1. I'm hoping that Miggy pulls out of the AS game so that Hanley can rightfully go.

I did some investigative reporting... just for TSM. Swick was playing on Full Tilt last night (he's a poker pro now how?) and I asked him about Leben. Mike Legend 24: Swick, is it true you're gonna get the chance to knock Leben's head off? Dealer: Hand #2893327267 Mike Swick: We are trying to setup the fight with Leben. I want it, my camp wants it, and the UFC wants it. Its up to him now... I do it all for you, TSM. -
Miguel Cabrera pulled out of the HR derby. His shoulder is injured. Word is still coming in if an errant trip to the refrigerator was involved, somehow.

Two hour love song. Hilarious. "Would you really climb the highest mountain? No? How about making it more realistic."

Everyone is bidding for the film, but Ari has something more specific in mind. They also have a role for Vince but another agent steals it out from them for his client (unnamed) and Ari goes ballistic telling Lloyd that it's time for "agenting 101: sabotage" That's about it. Oh, and an E/Billy Walsh rumble in the jungle!

I liked it. I can't wait until next week - it seems like a lot comes to a head.
