Never pitched above A before? Rick Vanden Hurk doesn't give a FUCK. 5 Ks through 2 innings.

I don't think the two movies are remotely even in the same ballpark. Blades of Glory is, in effect, a Will Ferrell movie. You either like them or you don't. Same as Adam Sandler movies, etc. Wild Hogs? C'mon, now.

Fantasy purposes? De Aza is a total surprise and I wouldn't bet on him to keep it up but I suppose you could have said the same thing about Uggla last year. He's a solid but unspectacular player. Totally impressed the club in ST and made the team even when he had almost no chance. He'd get you steals and maybe a decent BA but not much else fantasy wise. Jacobs is what he always was... a guy who can provide some pop but he's not reliable. He's good for HRs and RBIs...more so if he sticks in the 4 spot. But he's entrenched at first so he'd be a decent guy to have on your bench. He usually sits against lefties but can mash righties. Willingham is a beast. A lot of people thought he should have been in the majors years ago. Defense is what kept him in the minors. He didn't have a position. He should stick in the 4 hole behind Miggy and deliver plenty of RBIs. I think last year is about what you can expect and he's entering his prime. His talent is not questioned and he's probably the 3rd best hitter on the Marlins behind Miguel and Hanley (and maybe Hermida if he ever manages to produce at the MLB level.)

The Marlins have now won 9 straight over the Brewers spanning three different managers (McKeon, Girardi, Gonzalez). That streak is likely to come to an end tomorrow though when the Marlins send Class A hurler, from the Netherlands, Rick Vanden Hurk to the mound to make his major league debut.

That was one of the best episodes of 24 I can recall off the top of my head in a very long time. "Say hello to your brother" and that entire scene was incredible. And I can not WAIT until Jack kills that toad faced fucker.

I still can't believe it. I never thought Serra would win in a million years. When I checked the results this morning I was only mainly interested in Koscheck/Sanchez because I expected a first round GSP KO. Wow.

Pretty good episode. It was nice seeing the "relationship" quality between Ari and Vince and they both played it well. Drama's shit with the billboard was hilarious and I'm curious where this Mediian thing is going to go. Glad to have it back.

Thankfully the Chosen One is day-to-day and nothing worse. And I hope Jorge Julio gets outright released. The very second Taylor Tankersley comes off the DL.
-
That's the best of the ones I've been to so far. They both put on good live shows. I didn't include this upcoming one in the best debate because it hasn't happened yet.

Can't wait for the flashback to see what happened there w/ Ben/Locke/Cooper. I was a little disappointed that Sayid was just knocked out during the whole ordeal last night. I spent about 5 minutes wondering what he was up to and that was a bit of a let down. Oh well.

They announced the acts for my college's Slope Day, which is pretty much a last day of class drinking fest w/ a concert. It's TV on the Radio opening for T.I.. Could be worse. 2003 - Rusted Root and Fat Joe 2004 - Kanye and O.A.R. (the best one in my opinion) 2005 - Snoop Dogg 2006 - Talib Kweli and Ben Folds I was hoping for something different but this will suffice.

deadspin.com I imagine that Al can't be too happy about this. Ha.
-
So, who wants to guess how popular Jorge Julio is on marlinbaseball.com right now? He won't last as closer.
-
Um, holy crap on one of those flashback listings. I'm talking about the one in the middle but I absolutely can not wait for the 2 on the end. Is that the season finale?
-
No. I would call that progress.

Yeah I like the Timbaland. Lot of bangers. I like the Dre song, all the JT songs, the (gulp) G-Unit song (mostly due to the beat), the Elton John song (although he only plays piano), and of course the Hives, She Wants Revenge songs. But the Fall Out Boy song is my favorite. HA. Seriously.

Man, I hadn't noticed that Bruiser was gone until now but come to think about it I wish that he weren't.
-
Can I just take a moment to point out that Hanley Ramirez is your lord and master? He's just so damn good. And to think, I was sad to see Beckett go.
-
Miguel Cabrera just christened the season with a monster upper deck shot off John Patterson. Add that to a bases loaded ground rule double earlier. Nice.
-
Well having your junk posted all over the internet doesn't hurt either. Timbaland officially out yet or did you get a leak, Banky? I'm not up on hip hop release dates.
-
But didn't you know that he'll be on the grounds a few hours before the game rolling balls down the lines to see if they roll fair or foul. +10 chemistry points. Gonna take the laptop to school tomorrow and watch the Marlins game at the library while "working". Should be fun.

The big one in the middle looks stoned. That shit is fucked up. I can only wonder what caused the evolution of these animals and then their downfall. Very interesting.

If it's just for eBay - try Garagesale. Great program for listing items.

It gets better every year. I haven't used it yet this year but I ordered the premium which offers higher quality. I can stretch it full on a widescreen monitor and it looks good but no idea about tv. And has Diamond Cutter officially replaced Web Gem on BBTN? Not sure what I think about that. Admittedly, Web Gem is corny and a little stupid but I got familiar with it.

Better than I thought it would be and god damn Jenna Fischer was hot in this.
