    2008 NFL Draft Thread

Looks like Xavier Lee's gonna enter the draft. He sure had a strange career at FSU.
  2. Yeah I like him a lot. He's from my hometown so that's pretty cool.

Didn't hear about this before. He's become quite the polarizing figure, huh?

    NFL PLAYOFFS! Divisional Demolition

Uhhhh... This is Wade Phillips 1st year as head coach. I know that, I was talking about both Parcells and Phillips. Jones had been starting pretty much that whole time period. Romo is running for his life right now.

    NFL PLAYOFFS! Divisional Demolition

So after a good 3 years (or whatever it is), the Cowboys' head coach FINALLY decides to start Marion Barber? OK...

    NFL PLAYOFFS! Divisional Demolition

I thought he said Colts but I could be wrong. The Chargers seem to have a good secondary with Florence, Cromartie, and Jammer with Weddle coming on now, but it's tough for any D to matchup with the weapons the Pats can roll out there.

Sure looked they were trying too hard on that kickoff.

Robo-Manning at work again. Hey, maybe he's trying to out-do Brady.

    College Hoops: January '08

It was pretty amusing seeing Washington St. making a quasi-comeback by hitting all those 3's at the end the of game. If UCLA wasn't such a good FT-shooting team, it would've been even more interesting.

    NFL PLAYOFFS! Divisional Demolition

This is killing me as a Lions' fan...just about everything seems to be going the Packers' way this year. I had a hard time buying them as a dominant team through the first half of the season but I can't deny it now despite my biases...I wouldn't be surprised to see them beat the Giants or Cowboys next week. Worst part is that they've done it by drafting well and picking their spots in free agency (not to mention the fact that McCarthy could've been the Lions' coach). Meanwhile, us Lions' fans are stuck with Matt Millen...

    NFL PLAYOFFS! Divisional Demolition

Hasselbeck blowing a gasket right now. Not sure why Holmgren was bitching at the refs (probably the same reason his QB is).

Why? Darius Reynaud (West Virginia WR) has also decided to enter the draft

    NFL PLAYOFFS! Divisional Demolition

Looking at these matchups, it seems like there should be at least one upset but I think all the favorites will end up winning. As far as who I'm rooting for goes, I want New England, San Diego, Dallas, and Seattle to win. I'll never root for Manning, Manning, and Favre. I really like the Jags, but I want to see the Pats finish the deal and make history.

Talk about a monster. Hansbrough did dunk on his giant ass though last night.
  18. I kinda had my suspicions when I was younger, but I didn't watch much wrestling then anyways and no one was really telling me either way. When I started watching on a regular basis at 13 (late 2000), it took a couple years for me to figure the entire process (thanks to the Internet).

One Game You Wish You Could Have Seen

Lions/Cowboys divisional playoff game in '91 High point of the Lions' franchise so far in the Super Bowl era.
  22. One thing that Seattle has going for them is that they have as much playoff experience as anyone in the NFC. Besides Favre and a few others, the Packers mostly have younger guys with little to no playoff experience. It's hard for me to pick Seattle though, because like cabbageboy said, Seattle usually plays like ass on the road.
  23. Tony Romo disagrees with you.
