Poker legend Chip Reese dead at 56. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/poker/news/story?id=3141655

The Tigers gave up quite a bit but hey, the time to win is now. By the time Maybin and Miller get to where they need to be, a lot of the Tigers' core players will be too old.
-
The Ravens will definitely be getting a call from Mr. Goodell soon.

What's with all the nitpicking on Randy Mosss not finishing his routes and the lack of a run game for New England? Are they just trying to piss off the Patriots even more?
-
Looking at the matchups, the Big Ten could potentially get beatdown this bowl season. EDIT: After looking at it closer, most of these Big Ten teams are playing basically true road games (not that it would matter).

Well...I did predict the Lions to go 7-9 before season started but I definitely don't like the route they're taking to get there.
-
Pathetic effort by Detroit (the D in particular)...I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose out the rest of the way.
-
Well...why are teams like Kansas and Georgia ranked that high to begin with if the voters are just going to knock them right back down? Why not just have LSU, USC, Va. Tech, and Oklahoma ranked ahead of them to begin with? You can't have it both ways. That's the thing that bothers me the most about the BCS.

I don't know, I guess the same reason why Oregon ran it out of the shotgun on 4th & 1 in the 2nd OT.

Fixed Never mind

Man...too much B.S. going on with the Miles stuff...I'm just gonna wait it out. This Kevin Smith kid from UCF looks like the real deal.
-
I guess I care...hopefully he has enough left in the tank to put out one more good year.
-
It's been used before to describe a big hit...not so good when it's being spoken by Gumbel though.
-
It's gotta feel great for Brohm especially...the season as a whole was definitely not what he bargained for when he decided to come back. It's kinda funny thinking about that Big East commercial hyping the 4 Heisman contenders...and White ends up being the only one left that even has a shot to be a finalist.

Which wouldn't have happened if Doc was enough of a dick to let Boston take a shot at winning by 50.
-
This is only his 3rd year in the league. Feels longer though.

This is the Week 12 thread you're posting in you know...

Just a really sad situation. It does seem like there's more to this story than meets the eye, but I really don't want to get into all this speculation. It just sucks to see a young guy who was doing well for himself go out like that. I really thought he would make it. Also, it's probably not pertinent to this thread, but I've just about had enough of people on random message boards and the like joking about his death and acting like he deserved it (whether they're joking or not).

1st Feeley, who went on to do less then nothing until coming back home 2nd Mike McMahon, who sucked for the Eagles in his stint and went to a backup job in Minny I think before falling to the wayside 3rd Garcia, obv with Bucs and to complete the circle back to Feeley, who may actually sucker a team again (the Eagles) if they dump McNabb and Kolb isn't ready for next season. Didn't Ty Detmer make an appearance during the 1st Feely stint?

And let the slaughter begin! Asante Samuel, you start it off.

Hester did it again.

That's odd...I knew something had to be up but the records were correct (I was afraid it was some weird-ass voting system). It's edited out now.
