"He was giving him the business."

I'm not doubting Tebow, but considering that Daniel has some pretty good stats (close to 4,000 yards passing, well over 30 TDs), played awesome in the biggest game of the year (to date), and is the QB on a top-5 team (and a possible national champion), I don't think it's that far-fetched to think that he could steal the Heisman if he has a great game against Oklahoma. Isn't that usually the formula for winning the Heisman? I wouldn't have an issue with McFadden or Tebow winning, but I don't think the race is THAT clear yet.
-
Chase Daniel for Heisman? With another showing like this next week, he's gotta get a serious look.
-
Is there a way that Kansas could get in even if they lose the Big 12 title game? They'd only have 1 loss and I believe there's precedent for a team making the BCS title game without winning the conference (it was either Oklahoma or Nebraska a few years ago).

Arkansas up 7-6 on LSU after McFadden ran it in out of that Wildcat (hog?) formation.

Kitna needs better pocket presence and needs to throw better balls. Calvin Johnson needs to catch the ball like he usually does. The secondary needs to stop sucking.

Yeah, it got ugly for Michigan but I liked the way they fought back. Butler was just too hot from outside. Just gotta tip your cap to them and say "good game". Michigan has a really young team and needs time to figure out Belien's system. I think they have a bright future but there's gonna be some growing pains.

I'm not feeling too good about the Lions chances, even with all the emotion that comes with playing at home on Thanksgiving. The Packers are long overdue for an off day though so I'm banking on that. This is pretty close to a must-win situation for Detroit seeing as all these 4 and 5 win teams are nipping at their heels and Detroit has lost the tie-breakers to many of those teams. If they can win this Thursday and win at Minnesota the following week, they'll be in a much better spot.

Who votes for these awards anyways? I don't have a major issue with Rollins winning the MVP, but I suspect that a lot of voters aren't looking at VORP and WARP and whatever other sabermetric acronyms you can find (just gueesing here).

I actually played under the OC at Delaware St. a couple years ago when he was coaching D-2. As far as the BCS goes, as long as Ohio St. doesn't weasel their way back into the title game, I'm good.

The last time the Lions were in a playoff race this late in the year was 2000, a couple years after Barry retired, and ended up missing the playoffs at 9-7. Ironically, they blew out the Patriots that Thanksgiving (the year before New England started the dynasty).

I really think you guys are overreacting to the "complainers". Personally, I don't care what Jericho's wearing, I just thought it was pretty amusing last night (plus, I wasn't a full-time wrestling fan when Jericho was running around in his WCW/early-WWF days in similar outfits). Half the people here who made the gay comments were probably just saying it in jest.
-
Is it just me, or does his voice even sound more...gay?
-
Glad I decided to start watching Raw again. Jericho looks like a damn Chippendale LOL.
-
Maybe not, but I don't like HHH, so yes.

Great match, shitty ending. And of course Trips comes with the burial again.

Lions had a chance, but they just made too many bone-headed plays to win. Martz needs to get the ball to Calvin Johnson more. Even though the Lions currently occupy the last NFC playoff spot, they're in a pretty precarious situation right now. The Lions still have to play Green Bay twice, but the Packers are 3 games ahead and have a realtively easy schedule so the division seems lost. Meanwhile, the Lions would lose the tie-breaker to Philly, Washington, Arizona, and the Giants if they tied with any of them for the Wild Card. Plus, they have one of the toughest remaining schedules.
-
Looks like I won by tiebreaker. At least someone from Michigan stepped up today.

Well, I went to the UM/OSU game and it was, without a doubt, the ugliest game I've ever seen...that pretty much sums it up. What a way for Carr and the seniors to go out (no matter what happens in the bowl game).
-
The ultimate "FUCK YOU" kick right there.

So, apparently Dixon was playing on a TORN ACL???

I'm excited for the fact that the Lions are playing a meaningful game in November for the first time since Millen took over. Also, I think it'll be a pretty fun race for the last few playoff spots seeing as there's seven 5-4 or 4-5 teams in each league.
