Chris Hero vs Trik Davis 1/12/06 IWA Mid South I've been watching a lot of IWA Mid south lately. It's growing into one of my favorite promotions besides Chikara and Smackdown. In this match, the younger Trik Davis takes on the veteran, Chris Hero. Hero might not be the best wrestler int he world, but he make make the little things so damn great. What even makes this match better is Colt Cabana is on the announcing team. Trik is booked like he has no chance but Hero gives him some offense. Hero is very good with submissions and wearing down your opponent which is very rare these days in indy wrestling. Hero wins with the Boston Crab. Good match with a iffy crowd and some good booking.

I was just watching the angle where the NWO take over Nitro from 12/97. I was wondering, How long did it take them to wreck the set and get the NWO stuff out? What were the ratings like for that segment? I can't imagine too many people waited for that.
