The moment your favorite superstar or any wrestler jumped the shark
Timmy8271 replied to Boxer's topic in General Wrestling
Bulldog jumped the shark back in 95 when he didn't win the title from Bret. As for the Taz thing, The reason I picked him teaming with RVD and Sabu was because it was so wrong. Taz was a loner, A guy that needed no one so why is he teaming with a guy he hates and RVD? I couldn't take him seriously after that. -
As long as he stays healthy, I'm picking Evan Bourne. He is a guy WWE really needs right now. He's a small guy that can get the crowds going. This is something Kendrick can't do. The crowds seem dead during his matches. I"m more sold on Cody Rhodes than I am Dibiase. I think Rhodes could be a great solo heel in the future. His only problem is his mic work. In fact both guys have problems with it and No Mercy proved that. I like MVP but he's a little too old to be the next WWE superstar. I'd be surprised if he lasts another year. Same thing for R Truth too. He might win the US title but that's about it. I really like Kozlov but I fear that HHH will kill his gimmick when they meet. He needs a mouthpiece like Estrada or something. Kingston would get far if he dropped the gimmick. He kinda reminds me of HHH 1998 or HBK 1991. Well maybe not that good but something like that. Santino is fine right where he is. I think he will be this generation's Doink or Bill Dundee.

Steve Austin: Turning back face in 2001. He just wasn't the same. Sting: Joining the Wolfpac in 98 Taz: Teaming with RVD and Sabu as the new Triple Threat. -
Speaking of bringing families, I always wondered why Palin has to bring her Pregnant daughter almost everywhere she goes? Like people are really going to cheer some girl that got knocked up out of wedlock. I didn't think the base really liked that?

Luger/Tatanka cage match was pretty good.

Seconded. I use to love American Dad but the past two seasons have been horrible. I just can't get into Roger dominated episodes and can stand Stan for only so long.
-
No you aren't the only one. It lead to his great Memphis work with Brian Christopher vs Jerry Lawler in Memphis 1993 during the WWF/USWA partnership. I"m probably the only one that liked his WWF work over WCW. By the time he went back to WCW in 1995, I couldn't stand him. His matches were mostly very boring except for when he won the title in 97.

Perro Aguayo Jr. One of the most popular guys in Mexico. I think he was about 17 in that picture or it's photoshopped.

And the "Palin didn't screw up so she wins" begins.

Let's Talk About...The Decline of The WWF Tag Team Division
Timmy8271 replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
Did Hawkins/Ryder actually ever defend the titles once? I have a bigger problem with heels getting the titles and then being squashed night after night to main eventers. A great example of this is the Spirit Squad and Cade/Murdoch. As for the question, What really killed the division is Bret Hart becoming a solo star. In the early 90's, he was the glue to a lot of those matches. -
No wonder they keep in in a bubble from interviews.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
Timmy8271 replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
So i'm watching Clash of the Champions 29. During Harlem Heat's entrance vs the Nasty boys, I see the little graphic says "Harlem Heat w/Sensuous Sherri". This was during Harlem Heat's "cell phone call" days. Then during the Nasty Boys entrance, they do it again. The match is just about over and Sherri comes out. Heenan and Schivonie have to sell this so they say "Oh my god we had no idea it was her." Classic WCW -
It's MSNBC, what do you expect, Fair and Balanced?

Oh boy here we go. The answer is Hogan by the way.

Are you saying Oprah, a big contributer to the Obama campaign and has gone on tour with him, is biased? Color me shocked.

Joe vs Angle at Lockdown?

I'd get the whole run of Clash of the Champions. If not the whole run, then Clash 1 for sure as it has a historic Sting/Flair match and other good matches. And I don't know how much you like Lucha but if you want to get into the style, When Worlds Collide is a good place to start. You have Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, 2 Cold Scropio, Tito Santana and others.
-
Well that was anticlimactic as usual.
-
Who's Idea was it to have this match? Fans are shitting on it.

Yep she turned heel. Thanks Tenay for spoiling it before the match even started.
