The Things That Anger You Thread.
Timmy8271 replied to Man Who Sold The World's topic in General Chat
Getting a email about a job opportunity one day and they going to the place to file an application and they say "Sorry we have a hiring freeze until Febuary." Ok then Why did you email me? Damn Sears people. -
I thought this movie was horrible. I don't hate violent movies but this one was just violence for the sake of violence. The only character that was alright was the guy that played Frank Castle. Oh and the brother ok at first but got real annoying.

A. Performer Of The Year - the best overall combination of someone who can back it up in the ring but can entertain on promos. 1. Chris Jericho 2. Nigel Mcguiness 3. Kevin Steen B. Wrestler Of The Year - the wrestler who can best work a technical match. Though part of "working" is the ability to entertain a crowd (this is why Hulk Hogan can never be called a bad worker - bad mat technician yes, but the man could work a crowd), this is meant for those who may not be over with Casual Joe, but Hardcore Henry says he's the greatest of all time. 1. Blue Panther 2. Chris Jericho 3. HBK C. Entertainer Of The Year - while everyone is eligable of course, the idea here is that just because all their matches are about * or less, you find them to be a guilty pleasure or hilarious or what not. I already know who the winner is but we'll go through the motions. 1. Santino Marella 2. Charlie Hass 3. Jillian Hall D. Tag-Team Of The Year: 1. Miz/Morrison 2. Kevin Steen/El Generico 3. Jesse/Festus E. PPV Of The Year: 1. Wrestlemania 24 F. Match Of The Year: 1. Flair/HBK 2. Blue Panther vs Averno November 2007 3. Steen/Generico vs Shingo/Hulk ROH Wrestlemania show Night 2 G. Best Television Show Of The Year: 1. ECW H. Smart-Mark Out Moment Of The Year: 1. Blue Panther loses mask I. DVD Of The Year (note: The SummerSlam Anthology is eligible for this): 1. N/A J. Feud Of The Year: 1. HBK vs Jericho K. Angle Of The Year: 1. Negro Casas turns Rudo L. Non-Match / Segment Of The Year: 1. Flair Sendoff M. Female Of The Year (either for wrestling ability or because you find them hot, I don't care): 1.Maryse 2.Beth Phoenix 3.Maria N. Announcer / Colour Commentator Of The Year (one or the other): 1. Matt Striker WORST OF: A. Least Entertaining Wrestler (Don't use the "Best Of" classifications, this is for the person who you hate to see in the ring because you find no redeeming entertainment value with them - it probably goes without saying they can't wrestle): 1. Sntisky 2. Joe Lider 3. Abyss B. Worst Interviews/Promos/Non-wrestling Segments: 1. Michelle Mccool C. Worst Tag Team Of The Year: 1. Joe Lider/Nicho D. Worst PPV Of The Year: 1. The TNA PPV with Trigg vs AJ Styles E. Worst Match Of The Year: 1. Frank Trigg vs AJ Styles F. Worst Television Show Of The Year: 1. AAA G. 2008's "Embarrassed to be a Wrestling Fan" Moment: 1. Frank Trigg: Pro Wrestler H. Worst / Most Disappointing DVD Of The Year: 1. N/A I. Worst Feud: 1. Abyss/Morgan vs Team 3d J. Worst Angle: 1. Obama vs Hillary K. Worst Announcer / Colour Commentator (one or the other): 1. Mike Tenay L. Worst Non-Match/Segment Of The Year: 1. N/A M. Worst Female Of The Year 1. Goddess

Isn't D'amore working with Raijin? That's probably why he's there. When did TNA start with the Escape the cage rules? I remember it use to be you had to pin someone to win.

So I wonder how long Conan will last on the tonight show before he jumps for Fox and Leno goes back? I give it 2 years tops.
-
Well I would have picked Randall but he was already taken. Dante's my second favorite in those movies anways.

So apparently Jay Leno will stay at NBC when he leaves to tonight show and will have a show weeknights at 10 pm. I wonder what happens to shows like Law and Order because of this?

Thanks for the reminder Nighthawk: Denis Leary.

It's F4W? I mean Alvarez makes a living bitching about TNA.
-
Snow/Mankind held them for a week in November 1999. It's TNA, what do you expect? Young should have won the title tonight. Now he'll probably win the tourney.

Hopefully and I hope it leads to a much needed Joe heel turn.

For the most part Memphis is just low-rent and so deeply southern-fried that it could only be tolerated in small doses. It was racial. Outside of Lawler the wrestling wasnt great. They had some of the stupidest, lamest gimmicks ever conceived and they had this horrible penchant for siphoning all the talent out of their heels so that they were all cookie-cutter bastard types that had to rely on cheating to win. The glass ceiling was built into their infrastructure. Memphis was either for washouts and local rednecks or for guys who were up and coming and would leave before they arrived because the conditions were so bad. Its sad to hear over and over that guys were just starving there. Bill Dundee and Dutch Mantell say otherwise. Also Koko B Ware was awesome as was the RNR Express, Ricky Gibson, Eddie Gilbert, Tommy Rich(before he got fat), Buddy Landell etc etc. But yeah it's not for everybody. Anyone have the Fuller Shoot?
