The main problem is West and Tenay are reading from scripts. Tenay is good enough to not need one, and West, as bad as he is, is at least tolerable without a script. See early shows for proof of this. TNA needs to let them go on their own.

I went to vote for the All-Star team, and I know that it's in Montreal this year, but there is no way that all 6 starters right now should be from the Canadians.

Good for ROLE MODELS being at the top again. That movie is just awesome. And I'm surprised that EAGLE EYE is still hanging in there.

He's poor man's Rob Bartlett from Imus. Bartlett was able to do the impressions well. Like Slayer said, he only has a couple of impressions that he does well. I was at a friends house last weekend and he was getting ready for us to go out. I watched FRANKTV with his parents who had never heard of him before. My friends mom says, "How thehell did this guy get his own show, did he blow someone with power?" I agree 100% with that statement.

My first CD was THE SIMPSON'S SING THE BLUES. The first CD I listened to was AFTER THE SNOW by Modern English.

There are a lot of awful choices on that list. I read through it quickly, but a couple of things that caught my attention. Best Comedy, and no TROPIC THUNDER or PINEAPPLE EXPRESS? Best Rock Song, someone should tell these people that APOLOGIZE is not rock, it's pop.

I agree with what you said. I don't mind it that much. Might come of as good.

As much as I like Christian, I don't mind seeing some guys leave for the E. Over the past couple of years, TNA has just brought in too many WWE guys, and has really moved away from building their own guys. I think Joe would have been booked better had all the E guys come in just as he was catching fire. The X-Division has really lost steam once the focus was moved from them to the former WWE guys. I think the only former WWE guys I wouldn't mind seeing stick around are Morgan (he's done well with himself since coming over), Rhino (he's been used better in TNA then in WWE, although he could be used better in TNA) and 3D (if used only to put over younger tag teams).

THE NEXT KARATE KID and no I don't mean Hilary Swank
cd213 replied to BUTT's topic in Television & Film
Maybe it's a deal to do the remake of OLDBOY, which is in works with Speilberg directing. The Smith family needs to go away for a long time for these two remakes. -

I read this on imdb.com :

Abyss and Joe both had hard fought matches right before that. Christian is part of MEM, for now at least. Also, it wasn't like the MEM was out there for the whole match. I thoguht that the beginning of the PPV was pretty good. I loved seeing The Chaos Theory, I haven't seen that move in a while, and I wish Teney and West would have called it that, bu alas, I hope that isn't the last we see of Doug Williams. The Knockouts tag match was pretty good after a little bit of a sloppy start. The Rhino/Bashir was meh, with ICP and Hall taking away from the match. The tag titles match was awesome. MCMG and BM worked well together. I didn't see MC winning as I just couldn't see them meshing well with Abyss/Morgan. Speaking of Abyss, his match with Angle was AWESOME. It had a good build, and I actually liked the ending. The table was too close to the edge of the platform for anything else to really happen. Booker/Christian was a good solid match. Joe/Nash was very good until the end. Nash trying to put his feet on the rope was funny in a bad way. The main even was very good, and I didn't mind Sting winning. I would have liked AJ to win, but the way it ended it moved forward many storylines. I didn't think this was a great PPV, but it was above average.

I got these from sescoops.com:

Well clearly it's because three hundred years ago their ancestors lived there. DUH! I love how people say they want to go 'back' to Africa, when they themselves, nor any of their family has ever been there. But I'm white so what do I know. Just like the Jews and Israel. But god...I mean g-d forbid you bring that up at all. I'm Jewish (by birth, not choice, but that's a different discussion all together), and I hate when my Jewish friends start talking like they were born in Isreal. None o them have roots that go back to Isreal and they talk about it like they've lived there for their entire lives. If I even dare bring it up though, they will bitch to me about it hours.

Paul London and Chuck Palumbo Released.
cd213 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
I really wouldn't mind London going back to TNA at all. he can either be a third member of MCMG (although I know he's not from Detroit). He has that look that can fit in with them and they can do a Freebirds gimmick with them. Either that, or have him feud with the likes of Petey, Lethal and the X-Division. It's funny that both Palumbo and London were released, and so far London is the only one being talked about. I liked Palumbo going back to when he was in WCW, but WWE just didn't have direction with him. His feud with Knoble was pretty good until they starting hinting that he hit his valet. Violence like that just doesn't flow well. -
I just want to know where this feud with Rhino and Bashir is going. Rhino is not an X-Division guy, so this feud almost burries the title even more. I like the fact that not every face and heel is aligned to one of the groups. At this point AJ almost has to win at the PPV.

And what is that? Well, in my own small opinion of course, the current King of WWE, the man who, because he's English, thinks he's better than everybody else, just wouldn't fit well with the Intercontinental championship. He's the King and has his Queen by his side.. no midcard title for him. So he's basically King Booker with a real English accent.

I saw the same results on gerweck.net, but these were more detailed.

I don't think he's a heel. He lost the match for his team, but he hit the heels, not HHH. And he went after Kozlov who got the Title shot at the next PPV. He's more shades of gray if anything. I don't think the fans will boo him though.

Ok, thanks Al. Once I get some green, I will certainly be picking these up then. I hope the Edge DVD is like that as well. I will probably pick that one up either way as I am a very big Edge fan.

It seemed like Smith wanted to distance himself from the Jay and Bob gimmicks, and one of them being the cameos by his friends. He moved the movie from NJ to Pennsylvania for this as well.

I've been to 2 TNA house shows, one in Manhattan and one on Long Island, and they have both been very good to great. TNA needs to get out of Orlando right away. The crowds are usually hot and the shows are usually much better.

Quick question on a couple of the DVDs I am looking to pick up. For the Flair set, Mr. Perfect DVD and the Eddie set, are these done with a documentary and then matches like the old DVDs, or are they like the new ones with an interview then match? i really didn't like that for the HHH DVD and I am weary of picking up new DVDs because of that.

As a Rangers fan, I'm not crying over the fact that Martin is out for a long time, but as aa hockey fan, that's a damn shame. I've always liked Broduer and hope he comes back to break Roy's record.

I enjoyed this movie. I didn't think it was the best Smith movie, and I also don't think it was the best comedy of the year (TROPIC THUNDER and PINEAPPLE EXPRESS are 1 and 2 for me). My favorite parts were Tom Savini's cameo and the fact that this took place in Monroeville. Being a HUGE Romero fan since I was 5, I totally marked for that stuff. Very funny and enjoyable film.
