    NHL Thread

And the Rangers clinch. This is great, 3 years in a row. Renny is a great coach. Even without Jagr having a great year we still did it. The PP is starting to heat up and Drury and Gomer are playing great going into the playoffs. The fact we clinched against the Ice-Landers makes it sweeter.

With the way things are in WWE, I never thought that seeing female wrestlers rushing the ring garner such pops. Roxy is really good looking I must say.

I still think that it's awesome that ODB is the first Knockout with her own shirt.

    Box Office Report 3/28-3/30

Saw 21 last night. It was a 2 1/2 star movie at best. Lawrence Fishburne was great as was Kevin Spacey. The pacing was pretty bad, as this 2 hour film felt like it was at least 2 1/2 hours. Some of the "slick" editing was not that good. I'm not upset that I saw the movie as it was a fun movie, but not the best movie I've seen. In fact I've seen a couple of Direct-to-DVD movies that were much better (THE LOST and THE GIRL NEXT DOOR, both based on Jack Ketchum books).

Wow, a storyline in the Knockouts division other then over the title. I like that they are concentrating on other people within the division.

I love SharkBoy, but not really "Stone Cold" SharkBoy. In fact, I almost want them to end Black Machismo. Brooks looks good tonight, and she can sometimes look busted.

I think he stole that from Woody Paige on AROUND THE HORN.

About Storm, when he first started talking in AMW and just said "Sorry, about your damn luck" it felt forced. Then they added Jackie to the mix, and somehow he learned to have charism. (sp?) That shows it can be taught.

Have I mentioned how much of a mark I am for James Storm recently, cause I am. Plus Jackie is awesome, and she's sweet, as I met her too.

Wow, I didn't think TNA could make me not care about Kong, but there it goes. (I'm still a fan of her, but I hate her manager).

That whole, kick him in the face bit that Kip just did had me chuckle a little. I'm actually interested in this feud right now. Like other have said, too bad it leads to a match. Now all they have to do is build a feud this way with wrestlers we care about. I'm actually digging Kip through these videos.

Steviekick, I agree. And that has to go to Eric. He gets it over so well. He's great with the fans, and knows how to work it.

The only match at the PPV I'm not looking forward to is the Knockouts match. Instead of a tag team match, it should have been a three-way to blow off the mini-feud that's going on.

I believe it's LAX vs RNR vs MMG and EY/Kaz vs Rellik/Reign.

I'm actually a little into the Rellik/Reign vs Kax/Young feud. The former team doesn't do much for me, but I love the faces. It's rare no-a-days to build up the lower card this much.

I thought he looked like Saturn when I met him at Webster Hall. Did you think Webster Hall would be a good venue for a PPV? No, the crowd was great, but the ring they used was SMALL. When I say small, it was 14 feet across and 6 feet from post to post. Hoyt was able to touch two posts at the same time just by sticking his hands out to the side. The wrestlers were actually pissed about it, but they went out and put on a great show. I spoke to Dixie before the show and she said they wanted to book Manhattan Center, but ROH had it for that weekend. She said the next time they come back that's where they are going to book.

Gotta love that Reign and Rellik didn't know what double team move to do. That's a great way to get a team over.

I'm not a fan of Hoyt, but I'm glad they didn't go with the Rock and Rave split due to the team not getting a long. Their gimmick is dumb, but I kind of like it.

IDK, I'm really excited for Lethal Lockdown. It might be me, but I like the teams they put together. I like that the World Champion isn't on a team.

    Dream matches

Even though it was past both of their primes, The Dudley's (3D) vs. The Steiner Bothers get me excited.

    Announcing Team Discussion

I don't watch WWECW, but I've always liked Joey Styles more then JR. I like when the person calling the matches knows the name of the move that is being used, and to hear JR saying over and over, "What a move," gets old. The same can be said for "His educated feet." and other catch phrases. I'm not saying that Styles didn't get annoying with "cat fight" but at least when a new move was done I knew what it was called. I can't stand Taz, never liked Bradshaw (on color), Cole is boring to me. Coach I like, but not when he is calling a match. I watch him on MSGNY, and he does a good job. Also, I think it was the Foley DVD, but he was calling a match with Foley and he did a damn good job of it. Schavone was not bad, and Monsoon was one of my favorites.
