I know it won't happen but, CM Punk wins MITB, Chavo beats the winner of the Battle Royal (Dreamer?) and then Punk comes out and beats Chavo to cash in MITB. I know the ECW Title is not seen as something important, but hey, this can elevate it just a little.
-
I agree that it is time for Joe to win the title, the only question I have is, who does he feud with. Angle has AJ that he can feud with over the title in their storyline with Karen, but where does Joe go. Does Nash come in after the match to celebrate and that's when he turns on Joe? If Angle wins then he has a future feud over the title and his "soon-to-be ex-" wife, Joe right now, has no one.

That would be great. I would love to see Mistico vs Curry Man, vs Lethal, vs Petey. This could rule.
-
I will always love, "Super Crazy isn't here, BECAUSE I DEPORTED HIM!!!" He was a great heel playing the guy that TNN sent to ECW to "fix" it and make it what they wanted. I love his team of Corino, Tajiri, Jack Victory, and Rhino. That was awesome. He was the best, and I don't see why none of the American feds have tried to bring him in.

I hardly watch ECW, so this was only like the second or third time that I have seen Burke wrestle, and I must say, I wasn't impressed in the bit. That one exchange with Punk was horrible, and both guys are to blame for it. Then Burke missed the break-up of the pin. If I never see him wrestle again, it would be too soon. Shelton was gold in the match though, and Punk, I'm not a fan of to begin with. Chavo vs Shelton would have made me want to watch next week, but Punk vs Chavo, I think not.

I don't know. Didn't Dreamer get in trouble for letting CM Punk work an RoH show whilst Punk was in OVW? I think that's a bit of a different story, CM Punk worked a ROH match while under contract, Dreamer just bought a ticket to a show that won't be shown on tv and he most likely didn't pop up on a TNA camera. Actually, he didn't buy a ticket, he and Little Guido were there as guests and they came in with Christian. I posted in the TNA folder what happened last night, since I was there, and how Bubba mentioned them. Also, TNA and Spike had cameras there filming for IMPACT! and TNA TODAY.

I went to the show last night and it was amazing. That had to be one of the best show that I have ever been to. Christian showed up he was with Tommy Dreamer and Little Guido. The show was INSANE. Great wrestling action as the guys and gals really stepped it up. Angle vs. Christian was PPV quality. They had the crowd going nuts ALL NIGHT! During LAX vs 3D, Bubba (Brother Ray) cut a promo thanking the fans and told us that Tommy and Guido were in the crowd and then Bubba said "How about we get Tommy in even more trouble, how many here want to see Tommy in TNA?!" and the crowd went nust for that. Before the show I got to do a meet and greet with some of the wrestler,s and met Gail Kim (who I met before), Jay Lethal, LAX and Angle (who was really nice to everyone.) During intermission Bubba and Devon signed autographs and were great. Dixie Carter was there and she is smokin'! When she was coming in everyone started chanting "Thank You" and she stopped and waved at everyone. She is really sweet. During the show JB kept saying that if we were a great crowd some of the wrestlers would come out after the show and meet EVERYONE, which happened. After Angle beat Christian, all the wrestlers came out and I got to meet Jackie, Eric Young, James Storm, Alex Shelly, Lance Hoyt and JB. The show was great and getting to meet everyone I did made the night even better.

Do you mean what comes off in the spoilers? I record TNA every week. I'm not entertained as much as I am by WWE, but that's probably because I grew up with WWF, and am loyal to them and probably always will be. TNA is hit or miss with a lot of things with the way I look at it. And I hate having Angle all over my TV every week. He's not the best and hasn't been the best in a long time. I'd rather them go back to the way it was in 2005, in what I think was one of their better years. I don't need to have everyone in the roster involved in one TV show to be entertained. I'm just laid back which is why I can tolerate almost everything WWE does. TNA, not so much because they have so much potential to really give WWE a run, but there are a lot of things they need to get in order. Number one would be get rid of Tenay and West. They are terrible. I'd rather them have a true #1 PBP guy with Tenay as the color guy like he did in WCW, or a heel wrestler who doesn't wrestle much. Yes, that is what I meant. Sometimes I type too fast, lol. I have to agree with you on West. He is very annoying and brings down Tenay, who I believe is as you said, a good color guy. I am a big Angle fan, but I too, get tired of seeing him in EVER backstage skit. I am a total mark for Tomko since his Bane days in OVW and was super happy when he signed as I felt he was underused in WWF/E. I don't have a problem with Russo, but he really does need someone there to hold the reigns. I grew up on WWF back in the 80's, but stopped following wrestling for a period of about 8 years from the late 80's-early 90's. I then was turned onto ECW at about 95 or so. I became a huge fan of them. When I met my fiancee in 10th grade, she was a huge WCW fan and I got into them. I didn't watch WWF regularly until they bought WCW and ECW. TNA reminds me a little of WCW and ECW at the same time (storyline wise WCW, fan wise ECW with the chants and knowing about the wrestlers). Being a huge TNA fan, I too believe that there is a lot wrong, but there is also some right about it. I know they have been around for a while, but they still need to find who they are. You can see them slowly getting that with the Knockouts and with guys like Tomko, Christian (now), MMG, and a few others. The best thing they have done recently is pushing LAX back to the front of the Tag Team division with their feud with Rock & Rave Infection. That is a tag team that has potential, and still need to grow a little more. Rave is great, Hoyt I never got, but CAN be something decent in a tag and team, and Christy is HOTTTT on TV and in person (plus she really can sing). In closing, I think I am as big a fan of TNA as I am because I was never super into WWF/E, and this is my alternative, plus I am a fan of most of the people on the roster.

I too, read the spoilers but still enjoy watching the show. I am a HUGE TNA mark (as you can tell by the name). The spoilers don't turn me off because I've seen amny time the show on TV is better then what comes off on TV.

I really don't feel the "Money" nickname he is using. When did he start with that because as long as I can remember he's been "Pretty Boy?"
-
ODB is the first Knockout to have her own merchandise.
-
I'm known to stand by TNA with most of the stuff that they do, but this is just stupid and I can't even go with this. The rest of the show seems pretty ok on paper. I hope even after the loss, Shark Boy and Curry Man get a real push. That would rule if they got the tag titles.

Last night I got a chance to preview the new film from George A. Romero. DIARY OF THE DEAD is the latest film in Romero's Dead series. Romero also had a Q & A after the movie. He is a very humble guy, as I have met him before. Romero was very funny and down to Earth. He talked about making the movie, and aired his thoughts on the latest fad of remakes in Hollywood. A great interview and Q & A, if I must say so. And now, on to my review. DIARY OF THE DEAD is a prequal to the entire Dead series. This film shows the start of the epidemic. The movie is also shot in first person. There are going to be people that compare this to films like THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT and THE LAST BROADCAST and even CLOVERFIELD. It has that shaky camera effect, but unlike the previous movies, it seems to go away after a while. It still happens through out the film, but the audience gets used to it very quickly. The story of DIARY is about a group of friends that are making a horror film for a senior project. While they are filming, one of the crew members is listening to the radio and he hears the story of the dead coming back to life. After the rest of the small crew and cast listen to the radio broadcast they decide to leave and head home to check on their families. The group of about 6 people, including one teacher, jump in a winebago and travel through the countryside. As they are traveling they run into the undead (literally and figuritivly). One by one the group is picked off. As this is happening, the director of the homemade horror film has decided to film what is going on. When asked why he is doing this he replies, "So whoever is left will know what really went on." Through out the film we see and hear news reports about what is going. The news reports are explaining the whole storie. The main character Jason, who is filming the movie, is posting his footage on MySpace. He wants the world to know the truth. The movie was edited together by one of the other members of the group, Debra. Originally, Romero said, he didn't want music in the film as he wanted it to be more realistic, but decided to add it. The voiceover of Debra explains that she did this to make the audience scared, scared about what is going on. Like all of Romero's other ghoul films, this one has a social commentary. The idea in this film is that technology has taken over our lives so much. We get news 24/7 from news channels on cable, on the radio and the internet. The only thing that didn't really make sense in the movie is, if this was supposed to be taking place either before of even at the same time as NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, how come the technology in this film is so far ahead of NIGHT? Overall, I enjoyed this movie. At first I thought it was okay at best, but the more I thought about it the more I liked this movie. I want to see it again once it officially comes to see how I really fell about it, but as of right now I give this movie 2 1/2 stars. I highly recommend this film for any true horror fan, and any fan of George A. Romero. Here are a few pictures I took from the Q & A. The quality isn't that great, but I was using my cell phone to take them:

Yes, tragically, that is correct. Because he did such a GREAT job with the two new Texas Chainsaw flicks, don't ya know. I suppose these horror remakes actually make money, sadly enough. I mean, shit, how many have there been? Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Chainsaw prequel, The Hills Have Eyes, THHE 2, The Fog, Assault on Precinct 13, Halloween, When a Stranger Calls, The Wicker Man... ugh... probably several more I'm forgetting. And exactly ONE of them, Dawn of the Dead, has been any good at all. THE THING and THE FLY seem to get a lot of love as they are great movies and they were remakes. Not every remake has been shit as much as fans want to believe this. Krueger haunted 8 films. Nightmare 1-5, Freddy's Dead, New Nightmare and Freddy vs Jason. Unless they count Freddy's apperance at the end of Jason goes to hell. Actually, Englund didn't play "Freddy" at the end of JASON GOES TO HELL, that was Kane Hodder.

Curry Man rules all kinds of awesomeness!

Axl does some tracks on the Sebastian Bach album, and those songs are so much better then the crap that has been leaked off of CD. I downloaded it over a year ago and it had maybe 2-3 listenable tracks. This album will never come out. Even if it does, it has to be the BEST ALBUM EVER with all the hype that has been building. If it is average, it will bomb.
-
I was thinking the same exact thing. It was a very good show, and I enjoyed it and can't wait for the DVD.
-
Yep, I was correct about that one. I can't wait to get that DVD. Should be really good since it will be all 6 full matches. The extras should be fun as well.
-
I just purchased my TNA tickets to their Webster Hall show on Feb. 21. I get a free autograph session and DVD, and stage seats. Looking forward to that.
-
Could be that they are going to put together a DVD and only want to give the fans a taste of the show. Plus like Hail said most of the other matches won't make sense according to the storylines.
-
Shame he dies young, but I can't feel bad for someone that put their body through so much shit, drug-wise, and then dies probably as a result from all those drugs. If he had been murdered then that's one thing, but he brought this upon himself. If he was trying to get clean, good, but he already did so much shit it didn't matter.
-
I have to find the site again, but on some random wrestling "news" site I read that this is TNA's jab at WWE and all the injuries their wrestlers are getting now.
-
I like how they are building up the Knockout's match with all the wrestlers talking about the match going into the breaks.
-
I was thinking that same thing.
