It was more of an angle, but when Tommy Dreamer "knocked" the cig. into Sandman's eye. I remember Paul Heyman said Sandman didn't leave his house for the whole month just so no one would see him and realize that he was ok.

That sucks this year for a guy like Wakefield then. I didn't even realize that Yukilis has only been around for a short time. You look at the guy and he looks like a 10 year vet.

Just a quick question, during that inning that wouldn't end the commentators mentioned that Youkalis (sp?) was on the Sox in 2004 but not on the roster for the World Series. When the Sox won does he still get a ring even though he wasn't on the roster?

They already did a remake as a TV movie back in '98 or so with Christopher Reeve and Daryl Hannah. When he was crippled? That's interesting. Still, they can remake it again. Speaking of tv movies, y'know, they used to be good. In the 70s and most of the 80s, there were a lot of tv movies I wouldn't mind watching today. Then it all sucked. My favorite one is Bad Ronald. Hey, they should remake that. It's based on a book, and it really happened. Fair game! Yes, I saw that version. They did it where his character became paralyzed and he had nothing to do but look out his window at his neighbors. It wasn't bad, but I think they changed the ending.

The pie scene in Dawn of the Dead. I love that film and it is a horror masterpiece, but that scene just seemed forced.

I know he's not a legend, but what about RVD?

Got another text from TNA Mobile that said that TNA is in talks with a former ECW legend.

I've seen the new SportsCenter commercial a few times now. The one where Adam Vinetieri (sp?) is walking through the metal detector. At first I thought it was very funny, especially since I am a fan of New England and the Colts, but that's besides the point. After a couple of times watching it I have grown to really hate the commercial. The reason is because if you look behind him, next in line in his HoF jacket is Jom Kelly. ESPN knows that he never won a title and at one point as Adam is taking off one of the rings he looks right at Kelly and says "2003, I always forget about that one." I think that is kind of classless of ESPN to have one guy "forget" about his world title rings while someone that never won one stands right behind him. It might just be nitpicking, but it's something that's been bothering me.

I just got a text from TNA Mobile that said that former WWE IC/Euro champion is D-Lo Brown, but his role is not know at the time.

I read an article recently about this. It seems that now the big thing isn't to make music anymore but to make ringtones. The record companies see a lot of money being made from people downloading snipits of songs for their ringtones. That is the reason that most songs today seems to have that same shitty sound. Music is in a bad way if they continue down this road.

Didn't watch RAW since I was at work, but I'm thinking it has to do with merging Davey and Harry.

I'm going with the BoSox in 6 games and Kevin Yukalis (sp?) will be the MPV with 3 HR and 10 RBI. Manny and Papi with wake up and have a monster series. They will spilt the first two games with the Rockies winning the first. The BoSox will then win the next 2 and the Rockies will tie it up before the Sox take the next two for the win.

I'm not a fan of either Rey or Michaels, but I might have to pick those up. There are some good matches on there.

I thought it was Robert Huffman? According to imdb.com (we know how reliable they are) his real name is Robert Booker Tio Huffman.

Booker T-NA. I'm all for it.

I have gotten in DDT from some of the youtube videos that were out up. I was wondering where I can find DVDs of this fed?

I picked up Jericho's book yesterday. There is a big part in the beginning about Benoit. He said he was thinking about taking out certain pictures with Benoit, but that would be erasing him from history and he couldn't do that since the man he knew was nothing like the man that did those heinous acts. Gotta hand it to Jericho for not going the WWE way with this.

Gremlins was actually one of the movies that caused the new rating to show up (along with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Both Spielberg involved oddly enough). I watched that shit with my 5 yr old a few months back and was like "Oh shit, I forgot about all this violence" and grabbed the case and sure enough, PG just like I remembered it. Hell, Poltergeist is rated PG. I read in Rue Morgue magazine last month about that. Since it's the 25th Anniversary of the movie there was a big write up about the series. Anyway, it said originally the film was supposed to be rated R but because Spielberg is the MPAA darling, he was able to talk them down to PG. That's insane, from and R to PG.
-
Talking about movies from the 80's that would not be rated what they were. Watch almost ALL John Candy movies from the 80's, they all have a lot of cursing and they were rated PG. I can't remember when PG-13 came into effect, but I believe in the 80's you only had G, PG, R, and X (along with XXX). That explains why so many 80's movies were PG when today they would be a hard PG-13 or even R. I can't remember off hand, but there have been many films in the past year or so that I have thought, wow that looks like crap, and i liked it better when it was originally called (insert title here). Like others have said, nothing is going to be new. Everything that you can think of has been done before, it's all about how you pull it off. Some movies do better then others making themselves stand out.

Bound for Glory taking place in Atlanta

One of the things that I loved about the Women's match was how they made Kong look like a monster. That is a very Japanese thing to have a female wrestler look like a monster. I am looking forward to Kong/Kim for the title, and if they can sign ODB, she will be very entertaining. She seems very good on the mic. If ODB signs with TNA it can almost be seen as them stealing away a talent from WWE. She is in OVW but noot under WWE contract, so I think it can be a big loss from WWE and their Women's Division. -

Holy crap. My friends and I just marked out big time for that ending. We didn't see that coming. Best PPV OF THE YEAR!!! Every match ended cleanly, all faces won, and Kurt Angle did a 450 SPLASH KNEE DROP!!! -

And we've had ALL faces win. Tomko/AJ played the faces in their match. LAX are now pushed as faces. -

Besides the 5 TNA gals, I think just Kong is. I loved ODB she needs to sign. And I would sign Martinez. -

That is so true. I can't think of a bad match. If I HAD to choose the worst match, it would be the tag table match, and even that was good. It played to the strengths of both teams. Plus I like the MCMG came out to help their hometown partners.
