Forget that, RVD/Sabu vs LAX would rock the house!
-
The show was on a limited run on Broadway months ago. I never got a chance to see it, but it was supposed to be really funny and a great show.

Just got back from seeing this movie a little while ago. This has got to be the best sequel since Terminator 2. It was intense, scary, gory and had a great soundtrack to boot. One of the major thing I loved was the filmmakers didn't take the easy way out and go with the cheep scares. There were times when I was thinking "Ok, here it comes, here comes the scare," and nothing. Then a few minutes later, BAM. As much as i liked LAnd of the Dead, this was everything that film was trying to be. It was an amazing piece of work! Best movie of the year so far!

Overall a solid PPV for one that didn't really mean anything. This has always been the blowoff PPV before Slamversary. Haris vs Storm certainly stole the show. I don't mind the end of the main event so much since it does set up for the main event at 'Versary. JJ putting Rooder over was fine since that means at the next PPV we won't have JJ in the main event scene, plus when he was winning people were bitching he wasn't putting anyone over (when I say that, I mean all over the internet people were bitching). Everyone already knows that Lethal is going to win it, so why not have it happen at your biggest PPV? I have no problem with that. It's gonna happen. Overall a good PPV but nothing spectacular.

Actually, as stated a few times there have only been 2 PPV's from TNA that I haven't bought. When I get the PPV, they aren't impulse buys as I don't wacth WWE very much if at all anymore.

SO far it's been a solid PPV. The opening Three-Way X-Division match was fast-paced and fun to watch. Roode vs Jarrett was maybe a ** match at most. Jarrett really needs some time in the ring to get the ring rust off. Daniels vs Rhino was a good brawl. I liked the fact that this feud isn't over yet. Kip James vs Damaja/Basham was not very good, then again Kip James is shit.

I don't think it matters who made him tap. TNA wanted it to be a 3-Way with 3 of their biggest names in the main event. If it was just Sting vs Chriatian Angle wouldn't have anything to do with the PPV, and god forbid Angle isn't on the PPV.

Cena is going to win by DQ anyway.

I would love to read an autobiography by Raven. Imgine the stories he would tell.

Last Kiss, the cover by Pearl Jam always gets me. I can't listen to the song all the way through without getting depressed.

It is said that a character that everyone thought died will be in the next one. Venom can't be killed since he is a symbiot, plus my I've been told that Raimi said in interviews that Venom has a lot more to do in the series. Plus if there is going to be Carnage, you need to bring back Venom since the serial killer gets taken over by a symbiot from the Venom "suit."

This is a throw-away PPV. But seeing that it is there are still some good matches on the card, or atleast they have the potential to be great matches.

Very true, he might have just been turned into SmackDown's biggest face from this.

I found the trailer for the Day of the Dead remake. It doesn't really look anything like the original. I'm also not happy about the fact that it looks like Nick Cannon will survive in the film. I'm not very happy with this (seeing as Day has grown on me as my favorite of the series, eventhough Night was the first horror film I saw when I was 5 and I LOVE Night). I just got back from seeing this tonight. I must say it's not as bad as some people are saying, but it's also not as good as others make it out to be. I found a lot of flaws in the film that kept me from enjoying it more. They have all been mentioned previuosly so no need going back over them. I just hope that Part 4 is better. It should be since from what Sam has said he wants it to be a lot about Spiderman and Venom. Lizard is just going to be a secondary villian. Sandman was a real pussy in the end, but then again his character does become a good guy in the end, at least in the comic.

Affleck was very good in Changing Lanes, Good Will Hunting, and Hollywoodland. I suggest you check those movies out and see if maybe your opinion changes. And a BIG FU to the Saving Private Ryan and Star Wars haters from yours truly. I hated Changing Lanes Affleck was shit in it. As far as the other two, Good Will Hunting was a good movie and he was watchable in it, but I find that movie needs to be on the overrated list. Plus Smith probably did rewrites on it since he was the executive producer. Hollwoodland was a good movie and he was good in that. There is always the exception to the rule. He was also bearable in School Ties. I'm going to add Dazed and Confused and Half-Baked to the overrated list as well. People seem to think these are great films. They are bearly watchable, especially Half-Baked.

This card really is stacked and looks amazing. It's a shame it's on Mother's Day. That might cost them a few buyrates. I know I'll be watching the PPV.

Great news. I've been a fan of Kennedy since his debut but I don't get to see SmackDown since I work on Friday's. That would be a great feud and Batista can be written out easily. Have Henry cost him the match at JD and he goes after Henry for revenge while Kennedy chases Edge until he is better and they can have their match.

Wasn't he one of the guys they named earlier this year because of steroids? It's obvious that guy has taken any number of different things. Look at him from Mexico to ECW to WCW to WWE to today. Yes, natural growth is to be expected over that period of time, but he went from one thing to something totally different, quickly. Yes he was, if I remember correctly the names were Edge, Rey, Eddie, Orton, Helms and Angle. Both Helms and Edge have out saying they did 'roids and their reasoning was becasue the Doctor gave it to them to help get better from injuries. Angle mentioned it was due to the beck injury if I remember. Rey and Orton never answered the question and obviusly Eddie can't say anything but he was really jacked up.

Now this pisses me off beyond belief since Day of the Dead was my favorite installment of the series. And one mistake, in the original the zombie was Bub, not Bud.

oh man, I don't agree at ALL...that last battle was fantastic! The dude blowing to pieces with the sticky bomb, Adam Goldberg's character's sick death scene, all hope pretty much lost for the American soldiers before the bombbers help them out...great sequence! have to agree, yet again, with Curry up there. I hate Ben Affleck, can't stand him whatsoever, but he's very watchable in Chasing Amy...Dogma, too, for that matter. Actually anytime Affleck is in a Kevin Smith movie he does a good job. It seems like Kevin is the only person that can get a watchable performace out of the guy.
-
I also read that he was suspended for wear an ROH t-shirt to a TNA event before the last PPV.

Don't know if this belongs here but it is baseball related: From ESPN.com At least David Ortiz, who never tested positive came out and said something about it. He's the first player to not tesdt positive to say he might have taken the stuff. He's got balls
