Umps in both NY games made horrible calls. The one in the Yankee game that called the Mariner safe on a stolen base was pathetic. He was out by like 5 feet. And I HATE the Yankees.

I'm gonna go with Buffalo is 6 and Ducks in 5.

I just woke up and turned on ESPNEWS and saw that at the bottom. My dad and I were big fans of the guy. He was a really good fighter. It's a real shame.

I was rereading an article on the situation and I was wrong about the driving drunk part. He was speeding though and he was brought up on murder charges, first and second degree vehicular homicide. He not going jail doesn't mean he didn't murder Dan Snyder. The crash was his fault and he even acknowledged it was his fault. I don't care if Snyder's parents accepted his appology. He's the only hockey player next besides Michael Peca that I can't stand and root against.

I think that Georgia Rules won't do that well. There are a lot of people that don't like Jane Fonda for he political views and with all the negative publicity that came out during the filming of this film about Lohan not showing up and such, people are not going to be interested in this.

He was only driving drunk and speeding and caused the crash. I'm sorry Vahicular Manslaughter.

I hope that Buffalo wpies the ice with Ottawa. I really hate the fact that Dany Heatly is even coming close to smeeling the Stanley Cup. After he murdered his former teammate in that car crash he should have been locked up.

I thought it was so much better back when it first started. I've watched since the debut of Cold Pizza and liked some of the things they did like the Side Line Report, and I also liked that it wasn't just sports but all news, sports, regular news, and even entertainment. Now it's just SportsCenter with a different cast. I did like the addition of 1st and 10 but they need to get Woody Paige back.. Skip just pisses me off at times, although I do like the fact that he's the only person on TV with the balls to keep bringing up the fact that Ray Lewis is a murderer.

Yesterday was classic Entourage. I loved all the Yum Kippor stuff. Adam Goldberg was great here. I'm starting to love Ari's wife even more. She is a great character and I love the fact that she is getting more time. I also dug the sub-plot with Drama and the Horse. No Lloyd=not great, but hopefully with Vince going back to Ari that means more Lloyd. Next week should be good. I too am happy that Amanda is gone, I just didn't feel her character. She felt forced and made for bland tv. Maybe now they will stick with Ari and we can get back to what made the show great.

Why didn't anyone tell me that The Wicker Man...
cd213 replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
I knew Hollywood was out of original ideas, but a remake of a remake? Hoo boy. House of Wax, the shitty movie with Paris Hilton was a remake of a remake. The Vincent Price version was a remake of a film called The Wax Museum. Now they are working on a remake of John Carpenter's The Thing. -
I found this on Lords of Pain via The Wrestling Observer:

The orignal was such a superior film. Edward Woodward was the man in that film. Nick Cage is really starting to piss me off as an actor. He hasn't done anything worthwile in such a long time. And the fact that he's going to star in the remake of The Fly pisses me off to no end. -
It's really funny, every review I read all said pretty much the same thing, "The movie was okay at best." (me paraphrasing) yet they gave the movie 3 1/2-4 stars. When was the last movie that came out that was considered "okay at best" yet it was 3 1/2-4 stars. My friend called me today and game me his review for the film. He told me how much he hated this movie. And this is from some that LOVES pretty much all comic book movies. He had the same complaint that everyone seems to have. The story was lacking, not enough Venom and Kirtin Dunst was horrible.

1) Bret Hart - Have been a fan of this guy for years. He was the first wrestler I was ever a fan of. 2) Chris Benoit - He's my favorite wrestler right now. 3) Homicide - I've met the guy a bunch of times at indy shows and he was really nice and had some great stories. 4) Chris Jericho - He's just the man, plus I would love to talk metal with the man. 5) Nova - He was always one of my faves in ECW. Met the guy a couple of times and he was really nice. Seems like it would be fun to hang with he and Jericho at the same time. Can talk music with both since they are both metal heads of the 80's.

I guess it was a GREAT idea to move it from NYC then, since Vince now has the title. There would be riots.

Vince said 1 fall to a finish before the match. Also, when is ONS?
-
RVD has him beat for that. RVD wasn't the SD champion. Although, at that time it was like being the NWA 6 Man Tag Champion. That's right, as soon as I posted it I remember that, my bad!

How sweet if Tommy won the title next week from Vince.

Being someone that shaves his head, it doesn't take long to grow the hair back. Usually in 2 weeks tops it near buzz-cut length.

The ONLY reasons I would see that film are Vinnie Jones and Nathan Jones (yes, I said Nathan Jones, his movies are fun to watch and he is HUGE in Asia).
-
I read somewhere that the last tapings were done out of order so JJ could fly back home since his wife's condition worsened.

WOW! But then again it will go towards everyone "quitting" TNB.
