Rob Zombie to direct next Halloween movie

HE is the only person to don all three though, no one else can say that. Plus it's good triva to make some money off of your friends with. I'm actually surprised that you knew what I was referring too, not many people that I know and speak to know about that. When I met Kane I brought it up he was surprised that anyone knew that.

Rob Zombie to direct next Halloween movie

It would have been sweet having Hodder play Myers. That's the only horror slasher he has yet to play. Jason, check; Freddy, check; Letherface, check; Meyers, maybe the next movie.

Rob Zombie to direct next Halloween movie

It looks like DDP. Even if DDP isn't in the movie I don't see why he wouldn't just show up since he and Zombie are good friends. He might just be stopping by for a visit. I know it's not KAne since he is not in the film at all. I am super hyped about this film. I love the casting choices and I really dig the backstory to why Michael is the way he is.

For us Oz fans this is a dream meeting.
  5. IMDB is a load of crap . Yes they have a great site to find out about movies that are already made, but since fans can update info, don't believe everything they post. I've seen movies up there that say they are in production when they aren't even being made, (see the new [Police Academy[/b] film that was said to be in production for two years before it was taken down). In other words, take what you read there with a grain of salt.

As far as the Devil's thing goes, if I were a candidate for coaching the team next year, I'd be scared since I know if I do a good job I'll get fired. Usually if you do a bad job you get fired. This happens all the time. Being a HUGE Rangers fan I have to love it tonight, we can clinch a playoff spot by beating the hated Ice-Landers. It hardly gets better then that. The only thing better would be to clinch the #1 spot overall, but that won't happen so the former is great. Should be a great game tonight. As far as picking a player for a playoff pool, might I suggest taking Martin St.Louis. He's a solid player who has playoff experience. Either him or Shannahan or Jagr. I know I'm a Ranger fan, but they are playing well right now and JAgr has come back to life recently.

That's what Avery's job is to do. He's the type of player that will get under the skin of the opposing player and make them draw penalties on them. There are players like that on almost every team. He's the ghuy you hate tomplay against but love when he is playing for you.
  8. He's mad the chair got a better entrance than him. EDIT: Nevermind Yeah, the chair was rolled down the ramp with its own entrance music. That might be worth bying the DVD, just to see the enterence.
  9. Yes, I lost it a while ago.
  10. Was just pointing out that it was a rumor, and that we weren't the only ones that wanted to see him there.
  11. I was just thinking about it, Lashley beats Umaga and Vince gets really pissed. As Umaga is beating up Lashley, Mr. Kennedy comes in and pins Lashley. Kennedy and Lashley have a past, plus Vince "hates" Lashley, especially for making him shave his head.

Watching the Rangers game while reading the results from 'Mania. Must say Sean Avery might have been one of the best pick-ups by trade this year. Before tonight the Rangers have gotten 35 out of 50 possible points, those are some great numbers. He has surely brought some intensity to the team. I have followed him for a few years now and totally marked out when he was picked up. Actually just bought my Avery jersey from NHL.com this evening. So far tonight has been a really fun game to watch.
  13. Good to see the man getting another run with the title. He deserves it. I'm bored with Batista anyway.
  14. Not as bad as CM Punk.
  15. Good shit, really fell for that one, lol.
  16. Batista has to be crushed by the boos.... The guy loves having the crowd cheer his ass. I know he was PISSED when the NYC crowed booed him against Big Show at that ECW show a while back. Show embraced the boos while Batista cried over them.
  17. That way the fans won't shit on Mr. Kennedy too much for ending the streak. They can come back with a good match after that.
  18. Am I the only one that thinks that Mr. Kennedy will go after Undertaker after Taker wins a hard fought battle and then Kennedy gets killed by Taker? I wouldn't want to see that since I am a hage Kennedy fan, but I can see that happening.

    Hot Fuzz

I just got back from a preview screening of the new film from the guys that brought you Shaun of the Dead. This movie is called Hot Fuzz. Unlike Shaun which was a rom-zom-com, this film was a play on the buddy/action films like Bad Boys. It was co-written and directed by Edgar Wright, co-written and starring Simon Pegg and co-starring Nick Frost. Simon Pegg plays Nicholas Angel, a big city (London) cop who is the best cop on the force. He is so good that he is making everyone else look bad. Because of this he is given a promotion to Sgt. and forced to relocate to a small town where there is no crime. The town that he movies to has won "Town of the Year" for a few years running. After Sgt. Angel moves in people start getting killed, or having accidents as the towns people say. Angel thinks it's murder but the town people don't believe him since "it's been 20 years since anyone was murdered" as Inspector Frank Butterman (Jim Broadbent) says. Angel takes his partner PC Danny Butterman (Nick Frost) to find out what is going on. This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Nick Frost stole the movie as he did in Shaun of the Dead. This movie had ever cliche in the book from any buddy/action film you can think of. The supporting actors were just as good as the Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Timothy Dalton was great at the scruzzy supermarket owner. Jim Broadbent was very funny as the inspector and Nick Frost's dad. Edward Woodward of The Equalizer fame had a great small role as well. Also, look out for the actors from Shaun of the Dead reprising their role of "towns people." Also, look out for an uncredited cameo from Cate Blanchett. On a scale of 1-5 I would give this film a 4 1/2. After the screening there was a Q&A with Nick Frost, Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright. I was also able to meet all three and get their autographs on my copy of Shaun of the Dead. This film comes out on April 20, and I plan on seeing it more then once!
  21. All of these remakes of classics make me upset. The fact that people will go see them and Hollywood keeps pumping them out makes me even more pissed. God forbid Hollywood takes a script by an unknown or indy writer and makes an ORIGINAL movie. I'm not going to sit here bashing all remakes though, there have been a few good ones, but the good ones are few and far between.

    OAO 3/29 Impact Thread

As much as I am a fan of Tomko, I really don't think he should have been the guy the teams should have been fighting over. It should have been more for Abyss then Tomko.
