    Your Favorite TNA Wrestler

Homicide got my vote. I've been following his career for the past 6+ years.

I'm pretty sure this isn't even the debut of his video for Enemy. I think it was on Headbanger's Ball over a year ago. Technically it is the debut of the video...on TNA and SpikeTV. But I'm pretty sure this video aired last year on MTV2. I think I saw the video well over a year ago on iFilm.com. I think it came out when the album came out. But that's why I put debut in quote marks.

I really miss Jericho. I don't think his video making it's "debut" on TNA will burn any bridges. Why not get money for anywhere you can get it. Plus it's not like Vince allowed Fozzy to be taken seriously on WWE TV.

I thought I read that the Olympic committe wasn't going to let TNA use Olympic slam.

He was re-hired a few weeks ago. Don't know if I like the music for Kurt.

I think the X-Division is too cluttered right now. They need to stay away from it ad let the other guys evolve their characters. They need a second hour specifically for that though.

    WWE Sign 2 Cold Scorpio.

He was a manager on the indy scene for years. Big 80's Donnie B was the name he used. I remember I was at a show on Aug 26, it was the second night after the Tag Title tourney at Hammerstein. I saw Donnie and thought it was Nova until he came out in his new "straight man" gimmick. It was the first night Nova used Bang Your Head as his theme and he was more serious. A few years later I met both and must say that they look almost identicle. Both are super nice guys as well. I think that bWo gimmick would have been a riot, especially for people that know about Nova and Donnie.

    Francine released

I'm not surprised that she's gone. I too read a while ago that Vince didn't want her around. I really won't miss her. I met her a few years ago at an indy and she was nice. I don't think that she was going to serve any purpose in the new ECW. Kelly shouldn't be there since she really is worthless as well, and Trinity is lucky she is still being kept around.

    Iron Maiden

I guess to each their own. I'm not saying that Evilized or Dragon Slayer are bad. I love them both. I just think that Book is better, at least for my taste. I love the upbeat, fun sound that they have on the album. Plus I think that the title track is just a great song to get pumped up to. I can't wait for their new album to drop, I think on Oct 31, but I'm not 100% sure of the date.

As far as the Euro metal bands go, I don't know if you heard Dream Evil. I was at a used CD store and found their first two albums and loved them. Their 3rd album, The Book of Heavy Metal is their best album by far. I can listen to that album all day, every day. I find their music to just be fun to listen to. It's very much like party metal. They do the whole epic metal thing, but they don't take themselves seriously. They just like to play metal for the fun of it, and it comes across in the music. I'm not big into groups like Slayer, Lamb of God and other bands like that. As you can tell I'm more into the epic, story driven bands. I love learning about knights and dragons and stuff, so that type of music rules for me. I'm also a big Dio fan (recently got back into him after not listening for a while). I know I'm going to get shit for this, but I am also a BIG KoRn fan. I have listen to them since their debut self-titled album dropped in 1994. I haven't been there since day one, but I have been there since day 3. I'm not one of those little MTV kids that like them from their newest stuff. I loike the newer stuff (some more then others), but I have been a fan since the beginning.

New Mr. Kennedy (Kennedy) Shirt Poll

I think without that dumb slogan #4 would be good. I like that one a lot, but I hate the slogan.

Why did you hand an argument off to me only to take it right back? You Indian giver As for the Euro vs. American metal bands, I'm not sure where the whole "vs" issue comes from, as most of my "underground" (for lack of a better term, meaning non-MTV metalheads) metal friends, as well as myself, enjoy both. If you're talking the MTV kids, then that's pretty easy, as most Euro-metal tends to write about fantasy, ethereal, or literary themes, which of course isn't going to fly with the "arrrrgh I'm so ANGRY" American nu-metal kids... though now it seems we're at the next evolution where the angry kids have hit the latter end of their manic-depressiveness and nu-metal has given way to the emocore "arrrgh I'm so EMOTIONAL" (witness BFMV and HIM) As for good drop-D metal, don't forget most of Nevermore's work this decade I wasn't trying to make a "vs" argument. I'm just saying that most metal fans in the US (meaning MTV fans, I should have been more specific about that) can't handle it. Nevermore, I abso-fucking-lutly love. I went to last years Gigantor at Jones Beach and they played at 4p.m. I was upset since I got there at 4:30 since the ticket said the show started at 6p.m. When I went to the signing for Nevermore I brought up the fact that I was upset about it to one of the members (can't remember which one) and he said he was very upset about it as well. They were told they would be on later, I guess Dillinger Escape Plan had to go on later (they sucked!!). I got there for the end of Nevermore's set so I at least got to see some of them. They ROCK!

NLCS: St. Louis Cardinals vs. New York Mets

Yeah, I saw that. Just sounds like sour grapes to me. Sounds like 'Roid rage to me. That being said, if Glavine pitches as poorly as he did in game 1 today (or tomorrow depending on rain), the Mets will have that game won. Albert doesn't talk for 5 or 6 years and the first thing he says makes him sound like the bigest ass in baseball next to Bonds. He should just shut his mouth, keep shooting up that HGH and fill the seats. I had minimal respect for this guy yo begin with, and I have lost whatever respect I had left. Huh? Ohhhhhh. Now it makes sense. Actually, I'm a Dodgers fan first, then a Red Sox fan and then Mets fan.

    WWE Fantasy Season 8

Did you ever think you would thank god for anything having to do with Jeff Hardy?
  15. I voted for big show since it will be Show vs RVD at the december PPV for the title. If we vote for Show, then we already know the outcome of the match and won't have to order another shitty WWE PPV, not that I'm going to buy it anyway.

    Iron Maiden

Yeah, cause I want to see one of the guitarists from Nickleback play Dime's stuff. As for today's metal bands, I think you're being a bit harsh, a lot of them can play. There's Lamb of God, Mastodon, Children of Bodom, Trivium, etc. Might not dig that sort of Metal (I'm not a huge fan) but a lot of them are pretty technically proficient. The whole drop-D, one finger power chord metal I associate with 90s nu-metal more than today's stuff. But it looks like someone needs to rock some Dragonforce. Dragonforce rule all! I am also a BIG fan of Sonata Artica, Nevermore and ICED MOTHER FUCKIN' EARTH. IMO John Shaffer (man behind IE) is one of the most brilliant song writers that gets no recognition. And for proof of that listen the Gettysberg and read along with the lyrics. A 30+ minute 3 song epic on the Gettysberg war, when the lyrics stop and the music takes over, John writes what the music means. I had a conversation with a friend of mine that is in a band on why Euro-metal isn't big here and he came up with a great point. he said "it too complicated." He meant the cords on the guitar. Most American metalheads don't want something that is too hard to follow. That why these great bands from other parts of the world are not big here. The only exception is H.I.M. (who I hate) and that's only because Bam is pimping their shit.

    Jericho in TNA

I read this from www.wrestleview.com, but it can be found on www.TNAwrestling.com as well: I don't think that this will have anything to do with Jericho coming to TNA, but does that burn the bridges with WWE now that he is doing something with TNA?

    The Grudge II

If she does die (not going to say yes or no since I don't want to spoil it for other) it is needed. Obviously if anyone watched the first one you should know the answer to that. The end of the first film had SMG coming face to face with the spirit. Reguardless of the answer, she NEEDS to die in the sequal, otherwise the lore of what the story stands for doesn't really exsist.

Raw / Smackdown Spoilers for 10/16 and 10/20

Shit, with Benoit, Finlay, Regal & now Taylor all on one show - I might have to actually start watching WWE again... That actually makes my dream stable come to life, as I stated Finaly as mid-card singles star, Taylor/Regal as the tag team, and Benoit as the Main Event star.

Love the addition of DaveTaylor. I think Regal/Taylor willbe tag champs before all is said an done. That is one team I would not want to fuck with in real life! Maybe it can be a stable. Finlay as the singls in US contention, Taylor/Regal as the tag team and you can bring in another European big guy to br in the World Title picture. No Lashley this week?! That fucks up my roster for this week!

    The Esham Thread

Hell no. Even if it meant them getting an Oscar, he wouldn't do it.
  23. Last night Fangoria magazine had an advanced screening of TCM: The Beginning. This was a very good movie. If you are into old-school grind-house horror then I would not pass this film up. The look of the film was amazing and the music used (original score) was very, very good. The film from beginning until end made me feel very uncomfortable. This is a don't miss! I would give this film 2 1/2 stars out of 4 becasue it wasn't the greatest horror flm ever but it was damn entertaining.

    WWE meets TNA

I watch Cold Pizza on ESPN2 every day and they always have Wrestling related interviews with WWE wrestlers. This morning they had John Cena on and they were asking him everything from The Marine to The Undertaker and even where he came up with "You can't see me." Jay Crawford who was doing the interview brought up the fact that Cena once said he wanted to be a bullpen catcher for the Red Sox and then said that they had a real catcher there. They showed AJ Pierzinski (sp?) in TNA and Cena said he saw that. Cena then made fun of AJ for using a homeplate to beat up Diamonds in the Rough. He said he could get him some new weapons. Jay then brought out AJ who had the X Title that he was given. They talked about the belts and put them side by side to compare them. Cena did the classy thing and didn't bash TNA eventhough he had the chance to do so on many levels. I wonder what Vince thought of that little segment.

    Iron Maiden

I was at the show as well. I was on the floor and have to say one of the best parts of the show was this asshole had a sign that said "Play Classics." He went to the front of the stage and Bruce asked for the sign, he then went and tore it up and continued the shong. The crowd went crazy for it, at least in the pit. I was upset that there wasn't a second encore since I was hoping that they were going to play run to the hills, but I can't complain. It was a kickass show and I loved hearing the whole album. I have never been to a live show where they played the entire album, and a group like Iron Maiden can pull it off. I would see them again in a second! I also couldn't stand Bullet for My Valentine. They had some good riffs, but they didn't consistantly but things together to make listening to the worthwhile. They seemed like a band that should be opening for Mudvayne (and I love Mudvayne, but that's the type of band they need to go on tour with.) I think unless it was a big name band opening, the crowd wouldn't have cared. I think if Iced Earth wasn't recording right now, they would have been perfect. Give them an hour to rock and then have Maiden gor for 2 hours.
