I like the idea of Town Hall Meetings. Let the fans know what is going on that way. It make the fans part of the show in a way.

Trish vs Lita when Lita blew her knee out a few minutes into the match (I think at WM) and then the next match Eugene and Regal were wrestling a tag match and Eugene got injured and they had to end the match. My friends and I thought, "Oh great, every match is going to have an injury." Also, Foley vs Flair a couple of months ago. The match looked like is was going somewhere and then it ended really strange with the whole Flair going after Melina thing and Foley yelling he quits. Just seems like it had to be stopped.

I was never a fan of Goldberg. I found him boring and overrated. I think the post that brought up Brock was correct. He was a better wrestler and more intense. Also, when Brock's undefeated streak ended people still cared for him, when Godlberg's ended no one gave a crap about him. Brock worked both as a face and heel, while no one gave a shit for heel Goldberg.

If you are a fan of the music then it is worth it to just say "I saw Duran Duran." I have tickets to see Iron Maiden and one of my friends who is a metal head isn't that big into them but said he would still go to say "I saw Iron Maiden." It's worth seeing one of the best New Wave bands of all time.

Show's gonna go flying off/through the cage for your HOLY SHIT moment of the evening. I was actually thinking that it was going to be Shane that would go flying off/through the cage. Show falling can hurt someone else or himself very badly. You know, as much as I think the way they book HIAC matches now, with more emphasis on grueling, barbaric punishment, part of me really misses the days of the crazy, 'holy shit' bumps they used to throw in. Nothing in a HIAC match will ever top the Undertaker-Mankind match, but it would be fun to see them try. Show going flying would be a holy shit bump..unless they pull a Rikishi with it.. It would be amazing, but remember for the WWE "wrestling" fan that Rikishi spot was amaing.

I'm sure that the writing team isn't smart enough to be able to use those big words. They are the ones that Matt is talking to about looking up the words.

I still don't get why Show is in that match.

I can't wait for Striker to actually start wrestling, he's a good wrestler and a good guy.

Funny this about that video being the first one played, the song came out in 1978, the band broke up in 1979 and in 1981 the video was the first played on MTV, the band never shows up in the video.

Freaks and Geeks went through a similar situation when they released the entire series on DVD. They were able to get the rights but it pushed the price of one set to about $80.

The only way that I can see this working is if they have extra security (not indy guys, real security) around ringside to make sure that no one jumps the railing.

I always thought having DOA evolve into a Klan stable to feud with the Nation would have rocked. I always thought that Vince was going there with Stone Cold and HHH as a team, HHH as the Nazi and Stone Cold as the skin head.

This can turn into Terry Funk vs Jerry Lawler from back in the day. Lawler was the heel but since the match was in Memphis the fans went after Funk. Unless it's going to be local jobbers or indy workers, this can't be good.

Brilliant!!! I couldn't stop laughing when I read this!!! Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised to see Vince pull something on 9/11. He will have a tribute to start the show and then later have something like Davari or someone come out and bad mouth America. It's Vince, he can't help but do this.

Is it wrong to hate all comedic intended gimmics? I've always hated Eugene, Spirit Squad, Boogeymen, Hurricane, Highlanders.... I just think its much easier to get over by being a bad ass in the WWE, than being a sideshow comedy act. I guess the last 'comedy' act that I liked was Edge and Christian. Who honestly watched the WWE for comedy? Anyone. The only comedy I enjoy in the WWE is during promos when one guy is ripping on the other. Do the comedy skits really work? They dont for me. Eugene, the Hurricane and Highlanders I am a fan of but I like them because I know their "true identities" and know they can wrestle. Spirit Squad I've grown tired of but I know that they do have talent and Boogeyman just sucks.
