I haven't smoked since 1999, but I would say if I started up again I would have to listen to the Kings of the toke, The Kottonmouth Kings. These guys were made for smoking!

I actually like Mark "Slick" Johnson. As far as refs go, he's pretty good, and I like that he actually has a character. I know, refs should just be in the backgroud, but it's something different. He has a personality, which is something that some of the wrestlers don't have. I don't watch TNA for the main event storyline, I watch it for the X-Division, Joe and an actual tag team division. Two of the things that I enjoy in wrestling are a good tag team (not just two people thrown together), and refs. There are a few exceptions to the "no two random people to make a tag team" rule, like AJ/Daniels. As long as the team shares a look and the same music I have no problem with that. Look at AMW, originally just two guys thrown together to form a team, and they are 6 time champs. They work well together.

Just finished watching it. Doesn't look good, but doesn't look bad. Maybe an average film. Just one question, how many people are going to see this film because they don't realize it's John Cena, but think it's Mark Whalberg? (sp?)

I'll try to make sense of this: Zbyzsko was playing the heel commish before Cornette came in. We saw this through the Raven feud. He and Hebner helped out Jarrett before Cornette came into the picture. Once Cornette showed up he made it clear that no one's job was safe, and he proved this by fireing his "friend" Hebner for his part in King of the Mountain match. He then Told Zbuzsko he had to do everything he (Cornette) said to do otherwise his job would be lost. The first thing was the put him in a match with the reinstated Raven in a hari vs hair match, and we know what happened there. Last night Zbyzsco made that announcement from what Cornette "told" him to say to Jarrett and Steiner. He's not a face commish, nor a heel one. He does what he is told to do otherwise he can loose his job.

Last week one of my friend told me about this great band from Finland, Lordi. I decided to take a listen to them. I must say, they feakin' rock. People call them the GWAR of Finland, but that's becasue they wear costumes. I would say that they are better then GWAR, and I love GWAR and have been listening to them for about 10 years. They are more melodic then GWAR, but their stage shows are very similar. I would highly recomend this band to anyone that is into great metal.

Just because I didn't like afilm that was all about blowing shit up and killing means that I don't like good movies. Wow, that makes sense. I didn't like it becasue I didn't think it was that good. It's my opinion, and I'm allowed not to like all the movies that come out. I HATED Scarface and many people like it. I thought that was one of the most overrated movies ever. Al Pacino wasn't very convincing and it was all about violence. And just to let you know I like good movies. Just because you like a film doesn't make it good, and just becasue someone doesn't like a movie doesn't make it a bad film. I've disliked movie that are good movie before. They are just not my cup of tea. That "It's my opinion" shit doesn't fly unless you can actually back your opinion up with reasoning. Actaully, it does fly since I did back it up. As I have stated I don't have to like all moves ever made, and just becasue someone likes a movie doesn't mean it's a good movie. I don't like it, and that's my opinion on the film. I didn't think it was a good movie. I don't like movies like that, and I didn't like that movie.

I don't know how great the main event is going to be. It's going to be one guy past his prime (Quartey) vs a guy at the end of his days (Forrest). If this is what the Heavyweights have to offer, I'm happy we still have the smaller guys. I'm still going to pick Forrest though.

I picked up American Wedding, Van Helsing (for a friend, another friend borrowed it and lost it, i thought it would be a nice b-day present, god I hate that movie), Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Bone Collector, and Sneakers. I bought The Breakfast Club for $5.99. It came out to $28 for 6 DCDs, I must now be up to about 650-700 DVDs in my collection now. -

Gnarls Barkley is a good group. Their song is catchy. Panic! At the Disco is pop punk wich I really hate. I've heard a few songs from them and EVERY song sounds the same. If they never came out with another single again, I wouldn't mind, but that's just me. Angels and Airwaves is the new pop punk band fronted by Tom from Blink 182. Not impressed by them either.

I have to agree with 30 Seconds. I am a big fan. Have been since the firsts album came out a few years ago. MTV has to be the run by assholes who know nothing about the music industry. I don't know how Avenged can win let alone be nominated for Best New Artist. They have been around for a few years now. Just because you start playing them now doesn't make them new. Same for Rhiana, didn't she have one of the biggest hits of LAST summer? I think this is her second album, but I might be mistaken about that. Best Dane Video, let's not nominate actual dance songs, let's nominate videos with dancing in them. The last time an actual dance song won was Days Go By by Dirty Vegas. The heads at MTV don't know much about music.

** 2006 WWE Televised Win-Loss Standings **

The fact that Benoit hasn't wrestled in a while and is still in the top should tell us something. Also, love that you have "God" down. -
The first season is being released 2 at a time each month. The last of which will come out I believe in October. The only one that got it's own release was Homecoming.
-
That's actually surprising. I know Joe hasn't won many matched recently, but I didn't think Sabin has either. Nice though.

They do that for world championship matches (i.e. the WWE, World Heavyweight and ECW titles), and it began with Cena-HHH at Wrestlemania. Personally, I love it. I kinda like it too...gives it more of a big match feel. TNA started using it for the title matches 4 years ago. When there is a title on the line during the main event that's how it should be done. It gives the title more of a meaning. I know it's used in boxing. Both people enter the ring and then they are announced. I think it should only be used for the title matches. Regular undercard matches are fine announcing the names before the match.

I'm really looking forward to the second season of Masters of Horror. The castings look really good as I am a fan of many of the actors. One Missed Call actually might be good. A decent cast so far. I can't wait for the Gathering. I heard about this film a couple of years ago and it's finally here. I love Christina Ricci. Almost anything by Dario is worth watching, and the fact that sexy Asia is in it makes it that much better.

I have a lot of patience. I have no problem sitting through slow moving movies. In fact I like movies with a slow build up more then a fast paced film. I just didn't think Collateral was a good movie. I didn't find anything good about it. I thought Foxx was bland and Cruise was horrible. I've never liked Mann and I probably never will. I'm sure there are directors that I like that others don't like. Eli Roth is a key example. I like his stuff, but most people don't. M. Night is someone whose movies I loved. Everyone of them I enjoyed. That doesn't make them good movies, just that I liked them.

The way I see it, hold RVD off until at least SS. Big Show beats Sabu. Next ECW show RVD returns and demands a title shot. Sabu wants a rematch. Storyline cotinues until December when it's Show vs RVD vs Sabu in a three-way-elimination match. It comes down to RVD vs Sabu with RVD getting the pin and shaking Sabu's hand at the end,

Maybe you didn't see a differerence from the first half hour to the second, you can clearly see that people were enjoying the toned down WWECW setup if booked correctly. The second half hour was a waste. Using Angle, an athlete of such quality in a three minute squash, and having a main event for the Extreme Championship Wrestling Title in not an extreme rules match against a guy from the Smackdown roster on a quest to get the World title... does it make much sense... No it doesn't make much sense. Hence my point a few pages ago. If Show is going to win then atleast put him against guys ono the ECW roster. Sandman, Tommy even Sabu (the 3 biggest names). Even throw Balls into that as well. This is Vince McMahon you're talking about now... That's a very good point. I know I always have to have that pointed out to me by my friends. Vince doesn't do the right, obvious thing. he does what he "Thinks" the fans want to see. Eventhough it's only what he wants to see. At least we haven't had Triple H vs Big Show. He's staying as far away as possible.

I'd continue to push TBS, and expend the "new" vs. "original" ECW feud. Maybe keep TBS as champ for another month or two, and really have a slow build. A slower build will really put over whoever it is that finally beats the guy, and that's the way it should be. Then from there, then start the big build to the ECW PPV, involving RVD/Sabu/Angle, and other guys like that. I think what is going to happen. Heyman gives Sabu the shot at SummerSlam and Show wins with help from Heyman. That pushes the "new" ECW vs "old" ECW and then the storyline moves on to the December PPV with Show dropping the title back to RVD in a three-way-dance with Show vs RVD vs Sabu with RVD and Sabu as the last two and RVD pinning Sabu then shaking his hand afterwards.
-
So who is going to go up against Show next week. Are they going to have RVD return and demand a title shot, or is Sabu going to finally get his chance.
-
I said 5 years ago when Vince bought the rights to ECW that they should restart it, but use a mix of the older guys and up and comers. I don't mind people like CM Punk or even Shannon Moore coming in. I like Mike Knox and Big show in ECW, but what I don't like is someone like Test, a WWE throwaway coming in. And the main event doesn't have to be ECW champ vs WWE main eventer. There are plenty of people that ECW fans cheer for, you can have Tommy, Sandman and Sabu these past few weeks instead of Flair, Taker and Batista.
