I'm glad you mentioned Kreski.. After reading a few posts here about successful Hollywood writers not coming to WWE and lowering themselves... they forgot to mention Kreski who was very successful in Hollywood and was employed by WWE. I know that he probably didn't come cheap, but you do get what you pay for.. and Kreski did some great things back in 2000. I think the reason that McMahon went ahead and hired someone like Kreski is due to Russo leaving unexpectedly and he needed someone who knew how to write legitimate TV... Whatever the cost was at that time. Why that has changed?? Who knows.. But at one time he did hire two legitimate Hollywood writers(I forgot the other one that was brought along with Kreski). The one thing that may prevent some for coming is the schedule and how WWE creative works. Kreski left for those two reasons. Now he feels his daughter is that legit writer, sadly that is probably the truth.

If you hear interviews from people that worked there, you are looked down upon for being a "mark" they want people who aren't fans. They want it viewed as a job not a "OMG this is the best thing ever" by their employee's. Other than they don't want anyone competent because when your lead writer is the owners daughter and tends to have dumb ideas that won't end well...A new guy starts pointing out big holes in the storylines, how their ideas make no sense, he's going to be out of a job. So as you will but right now you bow to Stephanie if you are a WWE writer no matter how much she has no idea what she's doing.

King, what is your thoughts on Mark Sanchez's play? It irritated me when the commentators were going on about how Booty shouldn't lose his job because he's "played extremely well". Yeah it was against Notre Dame but USC never looked as good offensively with Booty as they did today. And theoretically you have that Idaho game earlier in the year to compare performance against "shitty teams". Booty can go to hell. Start Sanchez until he starts playing like crap, if he starts playing like crap, and if he does, put Booty in. Sanchez played better than Booty has in the last two seasons. Everything about Sanchez is better. Arm, reads, quickness, ability to avoid the sack, everything. Also Sanchez looks like a fiery leader type of guy where Booty sure isn't that.....I think the rest of the team is more likely to go all out for a guy like Sanchez.

Despite the fact that TNA Wrestling just added a new Women's division and already has a great deal of underutilized talent on their roster, the company is currently in talks with several free agents. TNA Mobile sent out an alert this week stating that the company is in talks with Scott Hall, Brian Christopher and Scotty 2 Hotty. Scott Hall has lost a lot of weight and has been wrestling in Puerto Rico. With Kevin Nash on the verge of signing a new contract with TNA to wrestle, there have been reports that Nash has been pushing TNA to bring in his former Outsiders partner. As I reported here this morning, the company is also looking to bring in 2 Cold Scorpio. Scorpio was signed to a WWE contract after ECW was revived, was never used on television and was released this summer. TNA Bound For Glory saw the debut a new tag team made up of former WWE stars - Joey Mercury (as Joey Matthews) and Johnny Swinger (as Johhny Perisi). There have been rumors that TNA has talked to Sean Waltman, Sabu and Psycho Sid. Booker T is all but confirmed to make his TNA debut shortly. One of the biggest names that could be headed to TNA is Rob Van Dam. Van Dam has been a free agent for several months and we can confirm that he's talked with TNA management about working for them.

"I'm going to fight like a dog to make sure that exemption is pulled from the law," he said Tuesday. "I want to make sure we have a way to protect folks in Georgia from the shenanigans of the WWE. When you look at all the health issues of professional wrestlers and how many of them have died, it's clear they've been abused." If state lawmakers do rescind the exception for WWE, WWE performers would be subject to drug testing and other regulations just as other performers do from other sports who perform in Georgia. WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt said: "Gee, surprise, surprise. Wonder why he's doing that?" The exemption for WWE applied because of a statute that went into effect in July 2005 that excluded groups with assets of more than $25 million. Current director of the GAEC says he knows of no other group exempted.

So in other words........"my boyfriend doesn't like that I'm going to get a big push while he sits in development waiting for his release" It sure sounds like they were high on her and just about ready to release him either way.

Krissy Vaine is apparently as stupid as she is good looking that's all I can think. She's the one that threw away the big push and a lot more than O'Reilly did in general.

I guess she has an advantage that she's in OVW and not FCW.......also they probably like her since she's a diva search girl that's still hanging on. Is Katie Lea still under contract?

The only problem is, if you see any of the DSW footage she did, there's a lot of it on youtube.....she probably did as much speaking as all of the others combined. She was very well prepared to carry an angle with other women.

She pretty much flushed away a huge push for no reason other than her boyfriend wasn't thought of well by the company. She'll never get another chance like that, and to say she'll be used better by TNA is laughable. Not nearly as many people will see her even if the push is the same which is as good as it gets for a female wrestler these days.

Boy that was exactly what I said about it too, numerous times guys work house shows for a brand then don't go there, Palumbo worked a ton of Raw houses and darks.

Vaine and O'Reilly acn say what they want, it is their call. Bottom line though is a lot of people, including others in the industry will think they are dumb and look down on them for throwing away chances most wish they could get... You understand when you get in the business, especially if you want to make it on a WWE level there will be sacrifices to be made, it's not like they magically discovered what the schedule is.

Burchill is suppose to also be coming up to be apart of the Taylor/Galloway group...
